I've been melting stable QWISO wax then wrapping it in SS wool and getting incredible results, I need to invest in a reclaimer setup for my rig, then this will be perfect! Took some advice from oil pen users and have taken to heating my QWISO from a distance with a jet lighter (from the Lotus) and melt it around on the SS wool ball to make sure it seeps all over and doesn't collect/drip too much. Delicious!

I prefer SS wool to cotton, couldn't see myself using cotton again. There is a slight taste to it with organic cotton, I'd hate to imagine non-organics. Also cotton is not so fun for reclaiming, I have to reclaim everything I can with a tolerance like this!

OMG Mike is great, I had him make my custom PNP GonG back when I had that. Would love to get one made! What did it cost mate, if it's not a rude question?

try these pads.. they are like Volcano Pads, but smaller. I use them in many vapes now!
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-firefly-vaporizer.11365/page-111#post-573574

As @OF kindly pointed out, the Volcano pads can easily be cut and used to make multiple concentrate pads. They also neatly unravel and compress into gongs/stems.

That being said, I am not opposed to trying these assuming they are in stock again. What would the advantages be of using one of these over the Volcano parts?

The nano is most deftoitely a upgrade I was I the same boat as you I had a solo with a pa as my only vape I ended up with a da buddha it got some use but the solo was always my main vape

I sold my da buddha to get a nano my nano I will always have I am not letting this on go
The nano hits as hard as a dh Buddha but this stem will be spent a lot faster as the bowl is so much smaller

The nano is so efficient with your herbs its unreal

You are not wrong tho the solo and the nano are very similar hear is a list over advantages of the nano
1.the nano is a thing of beauty its hand made and logs are the best looking vapes you can buy
2.no Max temp the solo will only go so hot the nano you can go as hot as you like
3. No time out I vape as long as I want not when ythe vape tells me I am done
4. Reliability the solo is a solid vape but the nano has a ceramic heater and a lite what's to brake
4.better heat retention the solo will drop a light or too after a heavy Draw the nano seams to keep it heat a lot better
5. Bigger clouds
6 .better taste

The nano out performed the solo in all ways
I think you may have convinced me to order one. :D

Mine is a 14mm male/female custom. If you require an 18mm it might be slightly more $, IDK, but probably between $50. - $60 like mine. shipping included USPS Priority. Definitely worth it!!!

Btw guys, any equipment needed for it or is it all good out of the box? I have some PVHE-stuff and an F-bomb for my Solo, is this useable with the Nano or am I mistaken there?

I would get a gong to use with the f bomb and use FCLOVE for 10% off

The solo stuff will not work with the nano tho if that's what you mean

I like Volcano Pads:
As a user of Volcano pads.... (in both sizes- "solid" and "EZ" valve size)
...and having cut (with a machining die, as plugs.. and with scissors) and used them for many applications, I know they work OK. They are better (and safer) to use unraveled and regrouped than when cut with no doubt, due to little tiny lost "nips" of wire.
The Advantage of the smaller pads:
Since using the smaller Herbie pads I learned they were easier to use....
They are already an ideal size for most other vapes, and so do not need to be cut... simply reshaped into a ball, cone, or any shape you need.
You are always using just one continuous wire that has the ideal random twists and turns for the job built in.

I need this. How much was it?

Edit: I see @herbivore21 already got to that question lol. Inquiring minds want to know!
Contact Mike @ michaelandrews@hrecn.net. Tell him you want a reclaimer like the one he just made for Snappo on the FC forum. Turn-around time from order to shipment received was FAST! The custom piece he made for me I found superior to the one in my pic which I took off the net because the bridge on mine has a slight downward slope which serves to better guide the vapor more directly towards the mouthpiece. Note: Use a joint slide product, as Mike's joint tolerances are extremely accurate and tight. Had to send mine out to release from joint-lock, I tried but couldn't get it loose. That's why I posted a net pic instead of my gorgeous custom piece.

Put mineral oil on the joint next time and let it sit. Depending on the viscosity of the oil and how stuck the glass is, it can take a few hours to up to a week of sitting but it WILL eventually allow you to free stuck ground glass joints. Be sure to twist as you pull as well.

Lol only thing I remember from chem lab in college.

If joint is stuck.. heat the female (with a hot object or even a single lick from a torch flame)
touch Ice cube (or hold on with an Ice cold cloth) to the male side.
I know you remember that cold contracts and heat expands ... likely from that same class!;)

That doesnt always work. Was tried in lab to no avail (glass stopper was stuck in a beaker), which is how the oil thing came up. Not sure how long it actually took but it was easily pulled out by the next lab 3 days later.

Thanks guys! Tried all that and many more techniques. Mike offered to try for me as he has much success with this kind of thing, so I sent it out this morning. :)

Did u have a lot of weight on it pressing down or was it all from just the nano sitting on the joint?
Actually, I hadn't even mounted it onto the vape or bubbler yet ...just coupled the joints together and clipped on the Keck.

Please forgive my noob-ness but I've now purchased an e-nano and a D020, do I need anything else to make these things work together besides what's in their respective packages?
