Wood imparts a subtle delicate essence to the vapor.
I can not say I prefer it.. I can say I am delighted to have 2 options for style, and for that subtle essence!
I find more pronounced sedative effects at higher temperatures also. If you like the deeper effects through water, imagine the strength of the effects "straight up"!
Wood does not only impart that subtle essence to vapor... it has an light aroma of its own.
Our E-Nanos each have an essence.
Wood is good!
I think I will go rub some of that Bomb Ass Butter on my Nano!
I'm thinking about this a bit lately, I think I should spend some time tomorrow finding the highest setting I can handle dry (without coughing my respiratory tract up) and then re-arrange my routine around that. I need something to protect the wood on my Nano a bit actually, my running it at 240v accidentally sure cooked out the original finish a bit. The heater/SS cylinder was red hot!

Please do let me know how the butter takes to the Nano, I might order some!

May I recommend giving a j-hook a try. It gives you the option of using all your different GonG's. It puts a curve in your vapor path that will help cool the vapor down some and help reduce some of the debris that may make its way through the screens. If you want you could even add a lil' bit of water in the j-hook and make it a tiny bubbler.

Before I got my pinch stems it was my preferred method. I'm finding with the stem my throat does get a bit raw, been trying to use my tongue as a diffuser.

As you know, the E-Nano comes with a beautiful finish.
Over time mine has taken a bit of wear, and heat, and did dull a bit over the logo and light, where my fingers rest the most heavily.
I did use Ed's Bomb Ass Butter on my E-Nano... while it was warm, and massaged it in lighty (& lovingly).
I buffed the unit dry when it was cool.
Here the unit is cool, and dry after a treatment.

Oh joyous day! My nano is back home after some tweaks and a fix by the master himself. Looks like he even buttered her up and gave her a nice shine. And, only about 10 days including going back and forth from one coast to the other. THANKS, ANDY!!! You're the best!!

Just about warmed up, so off to get in some quality time with my horribly missed little friend.

Don't know how I almost forgot... the new cord is sweet!!

Demonscars, I had the same issue when I placed an order yesterday on the new site. Before you go to checkout, first go to the top of the page, click the picture of the shopping cart and select 'view cart'. Then you can type the discount code ( FCLOVE ) and apply it. :)

@Vitolo thanks for posting the pics my friend! I think some of that butter is destined for my Nano really soon, you must have a really early piece, love the etched ring in the wood. Damn Nano's are nice looking!

Hey guys! Started reading about the Nano today and it looks pretty amazing.

I have a Solo currently, and I like it, but it feels like mine is lacking on flavor. Also want to try something new for a change.
How is the Nano for flavor and clouds compared to the Solo? They seem quite similar in many ways, is there a large difference between them?

And how would the Nano compare to an SSV on flavor, clouds and ease of use? I am currently mainly looking at the Nano and the SSV, but the SSV to me seems a bit more complicated to use and maintain.

I use the SOLO all day long and love it.
The NANO is good dry and even better wet.

For FLAVOR the NANO is much better.

I use my SOLO's as a substitute for ZIG ZAGS.

I use to like joints way better however vaporizing is spoiling me.

The NANO will spoil you!

Keep your SOLO for in between sessions!

NANO if you seek flavor!

ataxian I think you have replied every time I have been on here asking about vapes. You are awesome, dude! :D

Does the Nano provide nice clouds as well? If it gives clouds along with the flavor I'm probably getting one. It's a fair bit cheaper than an SSV, so if I happen to want something else I could get the SSV later.

I have a solo and had a da Buddha

IMO the nano is better then the da buddha
Glass path way is best for flavour
The clouds you get are about the same

The solo is a very good portable vape
Almost as good as the nano but when that battery's dies what you gunner do
My nano is on all day long just waiting for me its not me waiting for it to heat

I have a PA for my Solo so I never really rely on the battery. I think I have killed the battery capacity at this point because of forgetting to plug out the PA. :p

The only thing about the Nano is that I'm not sure if it's that much of an upgrade from the Solo? They just seem very similar and also have a pretty equal price. The SSV does seem like more of an upgrade, but it's hard to find many comparisons. At least I couldn't find a lot.

I have a LSV and use it to go into a coma.
The NANO is flavor city!
Tasty!

Mix it up!

I'm into water and the NANO is so small and powerful!
(works with all my glass)

It's the easiest to use!

I was close to getting an LSV a while ago, but I changed my mind because it seems so reliant on water tools. It's nice to hook your vapes up to water tools sometimes but I don't want to rely on it as I prefer the ease of just vaping dry.

Dry is cool too!

Today when I do errands I will stop by the LLS and get a CHILLUM to put on the end of a NANO stem!

Good Ideal!

DRY is awesome as well!

Oh man, I ran an ounce and a half of trim through some ISO and am doing the stickiest dabs I've ever had (only really ever dabbed AVB QWISO in the past, in extremely low yields). The Nano is amazing, I would not even consider dabbing like this on SS Wool in any other vape I have/have owned. In fact, I think I'd be stumped for a way to dab my wares without my Nano. It's so efficient I could never imagine using anything else!

Don, clouds abound from the Nano, see Caligula's videos or mine a few pages back for examples of all kinds of different clouds/contexts. :D

FC Guys & Gals - why not consider the awesome Ed's TnT wood stems for your SOLO, HI, & Nano?!!!
By the way: I will soon be offering exotic rare wood stem blanks on the FC Classifieds so that you can have Ed's TnT or Alan (HI) make them to your custom specs. See below for samples of Amboyna Burl (only the very best of the best!!!):

The nano is most deftoitely a upgrade I was I the same boat as you I had a solo with a pa as my only vape I ended up with a da buddha it got some use but the solo was always my main vape

I sold my da buddha to get a nano my nano I will always have I am not letting this on go
The nano hits as hard as a dh Buddha but this stem will be spent a lot faster as the bowl is so much smaller

The nano is so efficient with your herbs its unreal

You are not wrong tho the solo and the nano are very similar hear is a list over advantages of the nano
1.the nano is a thing of beauty its hand made and logs are the best looking vapes you can buy
2.no Max temp the solo will only go so hot the nano you can go as hot as you like
3. No time out I vape as long as I want not when ythe vape tells me I am done
4. Reliability the solo is a solid vape but the nano has a ceramic heater and a lite what's to brake
4.better heat retention the solo will drop a light or too after a heavy Draw the nano seams to keep it heat a lot better
5. Bigger clouds
6 .better taste

The nano out performed the solo in all ways

@caligua

He's the Mac Giver of vaporizing!

I started with concentrates using wax pens.
I still use them however the NANO does SHATTER like nobodies business.

Caligua has this method of wrapping cotton around a chunk of SHATTTER and throw it in a NANO!

WOW!
