Should you hold the button for a brief second before you start to inhale with the KISS cart? when using should you pulse the button or hold it?

So i let the KISS cart sit in ISO for hours, rinsed it with distilled water, and its been drying for 2 hours now, it looks dry to me.

Think its good to go? even if the wick had any moisture wouldn't that be ok since the wax makes moisture anyways?

I usually hold it down from 3-5 seconds before starting to draw... It also depends on your material... I find that shatter melts the quickest....

After my great bubble hash experiment (it's still throwing clouds!) I was wondering about straight kief in the SR74. I have a piece of glass that has lined my trim box for a couple of years and has a shitload of kief built up. Should I make Qwet with it or do you guys think it will be good as is in the Hercules?

so safe to say 2 hours of drying (was soaked in iso, rinsed with distilled water) - think its good to use?

Its hard to tell, as I am not there... Do you have access to a blow dryer? Heat Gun? I only clean with 99% ISO, and never rinse my stuff... I have been using a blow dryer on the Nibbler XL, as it seems to trap condensation for a couple days... Blow dryer for 3 minutes.... DONE!

ok, let me get this straight. is someone saying that i should rinse off my qwiso with water to remove residual iso?

i think i see a flaw in that logic

being worried about inhaling molecules of vaporized ISO from cleaning the KISS, but readily loading extract not made by yourself is a flaw in logic.

just wanted to chime in. I've been using the same 7.4 kiss since New year's on my provari running at 6volts. I also have 5 dead 7.4s that I killed with my Persei. The 7.4 on my provari takes about 7 seconds to go red.
Cloud size, at 6 volts yes it doesnt compare to the persei at full power but it's bigger than the 3.7 by far.
Cant wait for the iris, 6.5 seems to be the sweet spot, I use my core/persei/kiss plus my si bubbler for crazy clouds

Just wondering to all that have two kiss carts and a persei double top.

I would like to ask if it fits together in the double top

I'll try this again.

Can someone tell me how the Kiss cart works? I'm having a hard time finding that sweet spot. If I understood the premis it would help. I know the wire gets hot and melts the wax into the white thing, and then what?

What are some button technique/rhythms that work well?

What's the max you should hold the button for?

I'm using a Persei w a SS kit and a 23.7 T2 Kiss Cart.

Also I bought a Omnicron 2.5 with the SS Kit thinking it would be more stealthy then the Persi with the SS kit, and was surprised to find its actually bigger (longer). Is the Persei with the SS the smallest option?

Does the Omnicron appy heat the same way the Persei does, so same button techniques there?

These are really good! These should really help beginners avoid some crappy times.

In the troubleshooting section step 3 I do think that it might be good to directly mention the rod placement and that the rod extending from the bottom even a little can compromise performance. I know that you mention rechecking all the steps, and mentioned how critical rod placement was earlier, but the rod probably deserves a mention with a link to the photos you posted here if possible (the thumbs up/thumbs down version.

Since you are trying to cover the new users, I might also mention that if the top cap sticks on, you can briefly heat it with a lighter to remove it easier.

The tech is the same with the KISS on the Persei and the Omicron, although the voltage can be different. Depending which battery you are using in the Persei. (3.7v or 7.4v) Heat is applied to the wire coil and there is some (not a lot) of absorption into the wick. Best to load only a BB (or a seed) sized amount applied directly to the coil. Then add more as that depletes. Usually there is still a rip or 2 left in the wick even after the load apparently has melted away. Avoid dry burning the wick. (Visible red glow= not good). 1-3 second button pulses do it for me. If you are using a 7.4v KISS, be very careful not to dry burn, and avoid long button pulses for long cart life.

The Nibbler xL is definitely a very good thing! If it is out of stock at W9, you can try @VaporWarehouse .
They are an authorized dealer and a pleasure to buy from.
