ataxian if you wouldn't mind telling my what the ash collector and Caisen are for?? well i figure the ash collector is to collect ash but not sure what the Caisen does and a google search brings up stuff about phosphoproteins. I have only been smoking for about a year now and most of that i have been using the Vaporblunt 2.0 DLX with the bong attachment.
I use the CLAISEN as a carburator so I don't have to lift the vaporizer. You don't need this however I'm lazy!
@OF who is 1000x more qualified to speak on this subject recommends the $40 bubbler from pipedaddy. I haven't tried it. The $28 I spent was more in line with my little budget. Don't listen to me there are way more qualified people to take advice from.

Ash collector + j-hook = makeshift water path which can be broken down for using the ash collector on your other glass, and the j-hook dry. The Claisen like stated is for carbing and being too high to take your vape out (and then realize it turned off anyways).

Not to forget 'the Infamous Bubbler':

Solid little bubbler, good price, 18mm GonG centered. The little adapter that comes with it will couple to hose so you can use your MFLB, vape pen or most anything else that suits your fancy.

I am actually starting to lean towards the pipedaddy one because My friend has the Extreme Q and this already comes with an adapter.

Do i still need an ash collector with it?
so i would need

Also don't think i need the clainsen adapter I would actually rather lift the Vape off. Too worried pets will knock shit over when its top heavy.

Just the top two really... the bottom ash-catcher won't fit both physically, and it has one joint a 14mm (you'd need both 18mm)...

I did this as well with the q tip+alcohol in the chamber just like their website said, ended up going through 2 qtips (4 swabs) until nothing else came out. But the smell continues so some abv must have slipped through those holes.

Bummer i hope you can get the bits out

Its used as a crab with a plug you pull the plug to clear the bong it eazyer then lifting the vape

I assume you meant 'carb' as in slang for 'carburetor'? Not the 8 legged shellfish with powerful pincers that goes so well with drawn butter?

Cruel misspelling, the season just ended. While there have been better seasons (and lower prices), they were sweet while available (but best in colder water). 8 months of waiting.........

All you need is the bubbler (3 pieces actually). A GonG for the Solo is nice, but out of stock right now (very common). Until it's available (remember, you want 18mm for that bubbler......or 14 and an adapter) you can use your straight Solo stem with a couple rubber bands around the end to build it up and make a seal. It takes both hands this way, but hey, what else are you doing?

You won't be disappointed, solid and effect little guy.

I have used this setup:

It's just the straight stem with tubing to connect the Pinnacle Water Tool.
The red color is fruit juice; be sure to clean after use if you do this.
Salt and everclear are great for cleaning glass.

This is my favorite setup now, great for just relaxing on the couch:

I just inverted an old bong stem and inserted it in a wine making cork. The gong was made from that aroma therapy bowl in your Solo set. Click on the link below to see more about that.

Amazing!!!
The top water tool is an F-Bomb, the bottom one is a Pinnacle Water Tool; what is the cool looking one in the middle? Also did you invert a Solo stem for the mouthpiece?
Wouldn't want to try this without your stand!!

The middle piece is a freezer pre-cooler. 14mm in and 14mm out. A coiled tube incased with liquid. Initially I thought it was anti-freeze but learned (in time) NOT to leave in freezer as will crack if it freezes. I just store in the fridge. Good by itself for 1-2 bowls before back to the fridge. Actually not bad even at room temp.
The bottom is a gong that had a broken bowl part and I attached the cut off bowl from a normal stem. Used heat resistant silicon tubing.
And I couldn't get the dang cat to turn her head...

Every couple of weeks or so I hear about "shortages" at online vape suppliers and people are unable to find that elusive but vital gong for their Solo. Bet most of them don't even know they may already have in their possession the keys to their dilemma. I'm talking about that rather useless thing refered to in the Solo manual as an aroma therapy dish(more like a bowl). If you have a glass blower in your town, why not have him/her convert that bowl to a gong for the Solo. Mine cost only $20.00, works great and looks like this:

atbgong.jpg

All it takes is to heat up the bowl and connector (14mm or 18mm) and melt them together. A hole must also be flame punched through the bowl. A screen is added in the herb chamber.
Any glass blower should be able to do this, maybe cheaper if you already have the connection.
And you may have an extra 18mm connection already too if you have an EQ or V Tower.
I know I do:

eqelbow.jpg

Yes, I believe that broken EQ elbow is 18mm. Guess what I'm going to do with it when I get another Solo Set? When you take your parts in, just make sure they are clean. I seldom throw anything out.
Sometimes it pays dividends. I know, I built a computer and video game business this way.
I find that a #113 "0" ring works bestwith this gong because the diameter was a little smaller than my other stems. I also put a couple more "o" rings on the outside to steady it.

My favorite way to use it is with the Pinnacle Water Tool with a brewers cork and inverted downstem:

Happy Vapin'---Hope this helps someone.:science:

Some of you may even have a torch and feel competent doing this. By all means, give it a try!!

I ordered that and waited a month and a half and paid $30 shipping (living in EU), to recieve a destroyed glass. They put it in a box that was definately too small, i gaurantee it was broken the moment they sealed the box. Even diagonally it would have never fit.
He says i will get a full refund

Edit: the d022 i mean
