My original post about this was Match 29th, and now it's not even lasting a day. I have to charge the battery first thing in the morning and again in the evening. I am not even using it that much as I am alternating with another pen, and other methods. The battery is slowly dying and I have no idea why because I just bought this SS kit. Is this normal?

Are we speaking of the 14500 AW imr batteries?

It's the battery that came with the SS kit I bought a month ago, IMR 14500 3.7v 600mAh (2.2WH)

I put it on the charger and it turns green in about half an hour, and stays green no matter if I pull it off a half hour later or an hour later. I've done both.

@THC SCIENTIFIC I was able to get the cartridge that wasn't heating evenly to perform better. I moved the wire thing and it seems to work fine now, it is heating everything.

Now that it is heating a full pack I am noticing that oil is coming up into the center piece, the chrome piece between the mouth tip and atomizer. The oil gets in the threads and seems like its getting wasted. Am I hitting it too hard? I tried hitting less hard but it still comes up. What else would cause this?

I wont be sending this one back since I got it to work. The one that was DOA I'm a bit confused if @nao12000 wanted me to send it back or not bc someone I spoke to last week might have already shipped a replacement out to me.

Hello, I'm new to Vaporizing, the Omicron v2 w/KISS is my first device. Finding info on using the KISS seems difficult. What makes it quick loading (LAYG)? Can I load oil directly onto heater with the cone removed?

yes. i put flakes of wax right on top.

Okay, thanks. Do I need to be careful to not load too small an amount? I read somewhere it should be minimum .2g. What are the possible consequences of loading too little?

I read people submersing their titanium KiSS cartridges in ISO to clean it but the manual says specifically to NOT submerge the cartridge in liquid...what's the truth on this? Do I need to clean the inside of cartridge where the heating wire is? Can I submerse it in ISO?

An hour or two no prob :tup:,but be careful if post cleaning w/ soft toothbrush:cool:

Just got my Omicron V2 in today :) so far it's working quite well paired with a Kiss (ophos) cart and threaded skirt adapter. I'll eventually get another cart that is the shorter skirtless version, but this will work for now. VAS continues...

when i hit my omicron lite, i hear small like bubbling sound...is this normal? the manual says it is dirty oil but i feel like every vape i have ever hit makes this noise because your pulling air through the liquid...

anyone else hear this noise when vaping?

Apologies if this is totally dumb. I'm just now getting into vape pens. Picked up the O-Phos. Pretty much get the gist of everything from all the help here.

So I gather the Heat Shield protects from heat, but when/why/how would you need to use it? Just scratching my head here. I even bought a 601 to 510 adapter and that will let smaller diameter cartridges actually fit inside of the Heat Shield when screwed in. Is that one reason?

Blah, I dunno. Is it just for nothing? haha

Welcome to the fun! Alright lets start off with what cart you are using. If you are using the old style
Omicron_Persei_8_Essential_Oil_Cartridge__35868.1386197043.220.220.jpg

then the heat shield it comes with screws over the cartridge to protect from heat, as the cartridge gets hot during use. Also it hides the threads on your ophos pen. The 510 adapter is because w9 makes their vapes with a male and female end 601 thread. Most other companies use 510. Makes it backwards compatible. The new kiss carts, http://www.w9tech.com/titanium-gr2-kiss-cartridge/ don't require a heat shield, and wouldn't fit as they are bigger diameter. Hope this helps, there are lots of options for sure.

Ahhhh thank you, that makes sense. I have the newer kiss carts.

So then I ordered the refillable cartomizers from o-penvape I'm hoping will work with less dense oils (without glycerin). Seems to fit well with 510 adapter, and the heat shield goes on even if it looks a little funny. I'm hoping it'll work with something like RSO, or is that too thick?

Then, also got the Gentleman's cartridges which also fit inside the heat shield, but the mouth piece just barely fits it.

This all sound like a good plan? haha thanks everyone.

just stopped by the @VaporWarehouse warehouse and picked up the new Ti KISS Carts to try out, and while i was there A.J. and i were talking about the different models and i told him i had the V2, and after we are all done he says "wait here a minute" and came back with an upgraded V2.5 top! for free?!?!?! for free! seriously best day ever. so yea, if you're local to the east bay area, the people at @VaporWarehouse are awesome!

Hey I bought a omicron lite with the new kiss cart not too long ago. Everything is great, hits are very flavorful and smooth. I just have one problem with it, if I thread the kiss cartridge all the way to my omicron and hit it i just get 3 blinks so I need to thread it slightly less and it works fine. Is there any possible fix for this? Thank you.
