Herb Grinders

Does anyone have some solid tips for cleaning a grinder? My Space Case has become pretty gunked up. It can be difficult to grind up my herb, as the lid will get stuck. I'd like to be able to reclaim as much of my material as possible. Do you guys use ISO? Maybe I should look into that Grinder Grease stuff?

Soak that shit in ISO for a while and enjoy the harvest of your scrapings. The grinder should be like new after a good soak. I use a dedicated toothbrush for this task to help things along.

Yea it's like a fine cheese grater, and it fits directly onto the flight box, and it's a firm fit.

Looking at it when got it. I was like £25 for this lol but I'd buy one again if ever I lost it. Makes your box vape perfect.
That would be awesome if I still had my MFLB. I feel like the grind would be SO fine. Is that a sheet of aluminum with holes on the one side?

I just tried to buy a large 4-piece scs from blaze1. The coupon code works, but the rest of the checkout process does not, at least with the paypal option. I called paypal and they told me the issue wasn't on their end. I tried calling blaze1 and got a lady on her cell phone, didn't answer as a business and couldn't help.
Said something about having to get in touch with the website administrator.
Anybody know of a 4/20 sale on these anywhere (else)?

I saw that, thanks. I'll probably join soon, just waiting to hear back
(I inquired about getting a paypal invoice sent from blaze1)
I just thought I would give this coupon code a shot,
because it's about a hamilton cheaper and theoretically would arrive sooner.

I like the Grinder Grease, it works well. I am out atm so I am trying SlideRight instead. The viscosity isn't quite the same. Its close, but slightly thicker, and for this reason it doesn't last as long. So I'm probably going to get some more grinder grease soon.

For cleaning, my ultrasonic made quick, beautiful, work of my SCS. Imersion in a Simple Green/water solution at about 115*F for a minute or so did a fantastic job . . .

agreed, but make sure to wipe the outside down with alcohol first (while its screwed together and closed) to remove dirt and oils from your hands. i wouldnt want to be vaping on that.

so I am curious do people like to put the little triangle kief scrape tool
on top of the screen with the bud
under the screen with the kief
or leave it out completely
I always leave mine out,I figure you can lose a small amount of keif everytime you remove it from the grinder and wipe it off.
Obviously not much but every bit counts

I was wondering if anyone had experience with Cosmic Case grinders. I've stuck between the Space Case the Santa Cruz Shredder and the Cosmic Case.

I've used all three of those, and found them all to work just fine. I never owned a Cosmic Case, though.

My favorites were the two SCS that I used (large and mini), but these days, since I don't grind much anymore, I just use a medium 2 pc Space Case because they're so affordable and can be had with Amazon Prime, and they're the perfect size for me.

If money ain't an issue and you want luxury, I'd go with the SCS. Some people say it makes a fluffier grind/shred and are easier to turn. Either way, you won't find too many complaints about them, except for maybe the price of their 4 pc shredders!

Sorry if this is a really noob question but how do you guys manage a fine grind with a 2 pc without clogging the sides? After just two grinds on my brand new space case, little pieces started sticking to the rim and made it impossible to turn unless I scraped it off:\

I was grinding it upside down and sideways though.

With the space case 2 pc I recommend loading your herb in the bottom piece, grinding upright and dumping from the bottom piece. A light layer of grinder grease will help your purpose. When you flip the grinder over or grind on it's side the herb has more of a chance of moving into the rim of the grinder between the top and bottom pieces and will gum up the surfaces.
