G mentioned in a prior post about some beefier next-generation heads for the Persei, built specifically for the Herc. Is that the Iris, or just another normal Persei head with improvements?

Anyone know if he mentioned when these would be coming? Just curious if it's soon or "soon".

I'm dying without my persei......trying to resist the urge to splurge on a piece w/ a healthstone I found in a local shop on my lunch break today........I get off in 15mins........ must resist

There is a new top in the works thats not the iris, specifically designed for the hercules so it doesnt misfire. It also has a button that extends out and locks if you press it 5 times like a normal ecig.

I tried the finished version, but it had some issues. I sent my whole persei set back and G recreated my issue and figured out what caused it. So they have some tweaking to do, then another small run most likely. So a little while away

it was pretty easy to break down the herc hopefully im not speaking too soon because I haven't put it back together yet haha I guess im gonna let it air dry until tomorrow but I have 2 grams of some really nice OG shatter to run through it I cant wait

You dont need to let it air dry. Just make sure theres no liquid in the bottom section and resemble. And heat up a few times to get any liquid out of the coil

I received a black one also, I liked the button, and I didn't like the button... I bought 2 Persei's at the same time, and G included small run proto with mine... Really Liked it overall, seems like some firmware tweaking? G swapped mine out, I had a replacement 1.5 days later! :)

Yes works okay, the only annoying thing is they are slightly skinnier than the SS coils so they tend to slide up...

Yeah. I think we got the same tops. I was the opposite i didnt like the new button at first then loved the button and now i really miss it

EDIT***** I got it assembled and its working I was having a problem and once I took it apart to double check it I noticed the little gold pin was not completely flush with the white Teflon on the base thread once I fixed that it fired up im stoaked!!!

I was so disappointed when I threw a 50 dollar chunk of shatter in pressed my button and no heat....all is well now though

the taste is amazing i smoke ( what I belive to be ) really good oil and its important for me to get good flavour when spending 70 bucks on a gram of nug run i wish i got this thing sooner

my intellicharger i4 consistantly puts of a strong electrical smell- anyone have any ideas as to why? iam up on the the third floor and my wife on the second floor yelled up and told me it stinks like chemicals??

So how much are people putting in a new coil on the Hercules until they feel it is soaked and they can get some vapor

I'm not sure if I'm using this sr74 correctly I have put a gram of oil in and most of it has disappeared but I have hardly gotten any vapor from it I figured I just had to soak that coil but now as I keep loading more an more it's like I get vapor for about two puffs just while there is actual goo oil on the ceramic rod once it heats a few times my oil melts and I get no more vapor what's the technique for hitting this thing I am onto my second gram and I feel like iv tooken one dab


And it feels like sometimes I am pulling on a warm draw and other times my air is cold on my throat like its not heating ??

Treating me really well, thanks @Sleepin in CA :D I am a bit of an oil light weight, so naturally wanted to get a bender so I can use the Persei more often.

It's staring at me now... with its jewel eye... :whoa:

My Nitecore i4 has no such smell. Never had. If its that strong and not going away I suggest an exchange or refund.

start with less material , once you master the technique with a little bit , then load more.

did you look into your lower chamber for the first gram?

The Seahorse cases are nice, Use one for my pistols when I go to the range.... The Pelican 1120 I used was only $24 on amazon with the foam...
