Seeing all these sales and such reminded me to ask can you "empty out" a pre-roll to vape? I see deals on them all the time even on cavi cones so i wonder if there is any contamination or damage if you were to un-roll them. I dont know whats used to hold them together so im not sure if the residue may irritate my lungs when vaped or not.

Thanks for tolerating my noob randomness :)

I wouldnt buy them for the purpose of emptying them out but if they were a free promotional offer you can definitely empty it out and vape.

From my experience whats in a preroll is usually like a grade D weed. If the scale goes AAA, AA, A, B, C, D.
I have always thought of them as a marketing ploy to use up weed they would otherwise not be able to sell. :2c:
i have personally made dry ice keif from caterpillar infested bud and made pre-rolls, from what is left over and as funny as it is, people still liked them  :bang:
But then again i was giving them away to people, so that could have something to do with it.
The "glue" on a joint paper should only touch the paper itself, so you shouldn't have any residue in the weed.

No reason you can't empty a pre-roll.

Just be sure it's only weed and not one of those weed/tobacco combos.

Got it thank you

Yeah they tend to give them away when you join and one of my dispensaries is having 1 free for every $20 spent 4/20 deal

Fair point, i figure i have like no tolerance so if its mild its actually great for me lol.

.....of course....why not?

:) ive never rolled i have no idea what maked the paper stay shut or if it would get in the grind.

FWIW, its true that most free prerolls are garbage. I have come across a few places, however, that surprised me with some super stellar top shelf, full nug, hand rolled joints before (new member gifts or to make up for a botched/late orders).

Its rare but it does happen. Typically its the more serious places which want to impress a specific clientèle (me for example) in order to get repeat business.

It works.

There's one place that has shitty pre-rolls. I don't go there for that, I go there for their CO2 oil and some excellent flower cuts. There's another place that gives free joints on Mondays that are much better. You can clearly see it's bud and not sifted shake or something. But I don't care about their joints :D

QFT. While getting three or four places vying for my business at once, I get a pre-roll almost every time now. Mentioned to Vendor X that Vendor Y has great pre-rolls, and Vendor X just threw in a top shelf gram. But here in CA, it's a medical buyer's market I guess.
