Had the green battery on the charger again and when the w9tech called I noticed that the light had turned red and when I put in the omicron it came on. Did it come back to life or is it still probably bad?

Charge it for a few hours see if it works after that, if it works then it's working and will go on working.

Someone from your team emailed me and cleared up some confusion. I guess it was my fault for getting myself in a rage. I misinterpreted the last email when I thought they weren't replacing anything when in fact they are replacing the one that was DOA. I understand your stance on not accepting the used broken one. I got a little too butt hurt over that one... I probably overreacted like everything in my life but I was very frustrated. I'm glad that the replacement for the DOA is being settled. I just want to get this thing working and hopefully it hits like a dream.

Regarding my cartridge that is heating unevenly, about half the cart. I know the manual says not to touch the coil/wire at all but should I try to move that coil so it wraps more evenly? I'm soaking it in ISO later and maybe I should try that to see if it works? I'm also a bit concerned I won't be able to clean it 100% with 0% residue and not sure how I feel about mailing it if its not 110% clean.
I will definitely drop the DOA unit in the mail ASAP and the second one if you don't recommend trying to fix it.

You can try to fix it if it breaks clean it thoroughly then ship it out at that point it won't mater if it's working or not.
Silly question about using the ti kiss 3.7. ...
Is the oil that pools around/under the coil after loading (most gets absorbed but even only loading .15 not all was absorbed) unused until you manipulate it onto the coil?
In other words does the bowl it self heat up or just the wire?

@THC SCIENTIFIC This is off subject but do these Ti-KISS carts need to be primed before use? Could that have caused it to heat weird?

I recieved a core tube that had incorrect threading and I got it stuck on my brand new hvd omicron and the top and tube got scratched in the process of trying to get it unstuck. I submitted a ticket but they said They wouldn't be able to do anything about the scratches. I asked if it could be repainted and I didn't get a response for a couple of days. So you pretty much want to load enough to be level with the heating coil? (Without loading more than. 3)

@Jman5280 put a tiny dab on top of the coils then slowly pulse the power until the wick gets saturated. You dont want to heat it enough that it starts to give off vapor but enough to liquefy the oil so it can soak into the wick.
After that, I load a chunk as seen above.
Also FWIW, I do a quick 2-3 second burn-off on brand new carts to clean the coils of any machining oils*.
*This may or may not cause premature wear on your cart and I am not responsible for any damages occurring from following my directions.
You can but no longer then 1-2 seconds and your good to go.
We can fix the tube and top issue but the scratch part has a service fee. We simply cant paint it there is a process to follow.

Ok....shatter is what I'm using too. I guess I'm more wondering what you do with the oil that pools around and under the coil? It's not reclaim either....at least not all of it. I can see a distinct difference in the color of the oil that has burned and the oil that has not.
Like In your pic....Once you pulse your power button to saturate the wick I'm sure some went under/around the heating coil/wick, right? What do you do about that....

I find it difficult getting decent rips off the ti kiss with the recommended 5 sec hold time and 20 second cool down time.
Any recommendations?
Directions say charger light will either turn solid green or flash green depending upon status of charge. Does that mean that my light should eventually turn solid green?
Right now best I can get is a solid green with a slow red flash. Both batteries work fine.

I think you're confused. There is no cool down period for the KISS, unlike the Hercules carts. In fact I find chain hitting the 3.7v carts to be the best method to get big hits. Basically I take 2 to 3 smaller rips before I exhale everything. This way I dont have to ride the power button as long. Im not concerned about burning out the carts BTW (ive yet to do that to a 3.7v cart)... im more concerned about over heating the oil and diminishing flavor.
@THC SCIENTIFIC can you let me know if priming is necessary for the ti-KISS carts? if so, how do you do it? The manual said nothing about priming the cartridge but another member mentioned he primed his carts...

No , imo .
When you " prime " , you are holding down the button , which
basically means you're " heating ' up the cart .... Since you
Did Not Prime , " Heat " up the cart . It shouldn't affect the heating part .
Now , if you did the opposite and held the button Too long .
And Burnt out the cart , that's different .
I think you just got a bad cart , that's all .
