I can relate, I thought my VAS was cured -- but now I'm just a collector of EpicVape products, and I have contracted full-blown GAS. Also currently waiting on the postman at this very moment. :D

If we forget about stirring for a moment -- has anyone found it necessary to rotate either the Nano or the stem in order to get uniform browning of the load on say a first hit? I'm not talking about top to bottom, strictly the exposed surface facing the heater. This has been my experience with my first Nano. I don't see it as much of an issue, since I always stir once or twice and everything comes out nice and even. Still waiting to get home and test out the new exotic that is waiting for me, just curious what others are experiencing.

I have had my eye on the E-Nano for a while. I still have my old Purple Days, and it served me extremely well over the years, however now it needs repairing as the bottom has blown out unfortunately. So I have a place in my heart for log vapes and the E-Nano seems to fit the bill nicely for a replacement for the Purple Days.

However I kept holding off buying one as I had a Cloud+ and also more recently a Versa Infinity. The other day though the Cloud+ died and I have now bitten the bullet and bought myself a Walnut E-Nano with Adjust-a-bowl GonG and some extra screens.

Can't wait to receive it see what the all the hype is about! I am a flavour chaser, so I think I will be very pleased with my purchase, if all the reviews are anything to go by!

:D

Yeah mine was doing that. Think mine was a combination of a leaning heater and the clip holding the screen in place. So I removed both the screen and the clip, :D

I still rotate mine just to be sure though and use an extra screen in the stem, which provides extra diffusion.

My nano fully extracts with no need to tern the stem
Maybe its because I use high temps ?

Nano is heating up as I type dry or vape bong?
Think I'm going with dry

@Mrmrmrmr I see you posted in the classifeds about a extra long gong I have made my one with a broke stem I put the joint of a broke down stem on the end with a bit of da Buddha whip you can also use a 14mm female to 18mm male

Thanks for the feedback guys. My fiddleback maple Nano came and it is just GORGEOUS. I love it! The new wall cable and stress relief is much sturdier feeling and the extra length is nice. I also really like the new heavier stem. My picture does not do either one of these units justice, but here it is hanging out with ol' walnut.

As far as I can tell after some light use, both units behave pretty much identically. Temperature settings are approximately the same on both, and I am still seeing the not-perfectly-cylindrical heat dispersion from the new guy. I suspect this to be a normal function of the design at this point. (I want to re-iterate that I really don't see this as an Issue, since I get very full and even extraction by stirring once or twice, which would be necessary anyways to get everything on the bottom even with the top.)

Today I am going to put both Nanos on at about 7.4, load two adjust-a-bowl GonGs equally, and do 1 big hit on each without turning the Nano. Hopefully I can give you guys a better idea of what I am talking about with a couple pictures. I will also get pictures of the final ABV after stirring and a couple more hits.

Excelsior! :science:

^ This is what I am talking about. ^ I will have to wait until later tonight to finish them both off and show the ABV, but I'm sure you can imagine that with 2-3 more hits and a bit of stirring they will both come out nice and even.

Edit: It would be really awesome if anyone else wants to recreate this experiment and show what kind of heat dispersion they are getting. I should also mention that with my walnut Nano I have been able to recreate these results using two different water pieces, an all-glass stem, and the new thicker stem. I haven't had the fiddleback Nano long enough to try all those yet, but I am pretty certain after the above results that it doesn't have anything to do with the piece being used.

What do you guys do for screens? Is there a simple way to make formed screens for the stems?

I only pack that much if Im using a WT.

Those are GonGs not stems, sorry if that was not made clear. I am using a 12" stemless honeycomb tube with about a 6" can, looks pretty similar to one I have seen in some of your videos, maybe smaller.

@Mrmrmrmr I get the same results with a smaller load, or a larger one for that matter. That only seems to affect how the load is heated top to bottom. The exposed surface looks that way after one hit pretty much without fail, assuming I do not rotate the Nano a little while drawing.

Edit: In addition to load size, I have also tried using a higher heat setting with the load moved further away, which is what Andy originally suggested to me. It made a small difference in terms of the darkened area being just a bit larger, but still basically the same thing.

Solod out.
Is it ok to run it at highest temperature for like 5 hours or so? My friend needs a vaporizer and he really loves hash. Might use it exclusively for hash.
