Discontinued The Herbalizer

I just used a metal tool to scrape out enough oil from the whip to completely cover an aroma pad. Got two amazing bags at 445°F. Not a trace of anything left.

Love my Herbalizer.

Also I got the glitch tonight when it goes straight to 445°F and can't be turned down. When I turned it off and on again I sawn some never before seen greeting messages. One of em really blew me of the water. I was really enjoying it.

The Vaporizer Avenger
Anyone notice their bowl magnet has loosened and now has a few millimeters of play?

Sometimes the squeezevalve will slide up while filling, which requires a helping hand or the connection will leak.

My magnet detached from underneath the bowl. I contacted sheila and they are sending me a replacement..... and i will send back the defective bowl and magnet.

Other then that one issue and having the bag pop off and not seal once in a while I have been pretty happy!

For the first time, I just tried whole bud in the Herbalizer, and was delighted by the result.
Blue Dream... particularly floral in essence.
I opened the bud up carefully to leave it unground, and intact, and I stuffed it in there.
The session at 445 was DELICIOUS!.. essence unfolded hit after hit.
when done, I pinched up the bud, and while it was not too dark inside, it was vaped tan through and through, and had a pretty spent odor as well.
Not a habit I will make, as I love my habit of grinding too much, but a fun pastime it was that some may like to experience.

I haven't tried a whole nugget yet! Off for testing. Did you use the whip or bag @445°F

Edit; I should have read better. Hit after hit says whip. Sorry:doh:

Edit; method tried and it works very well. I got nice vapor throughout the session. Taste knocked off quick, but that is the characteristics of this sample. I grabbed the incorrect container for high temprature use. Though, I am quite medicated. It was a very pleasent session. I will try this again later with a diffrent medicine. Thanks @Vitolo

I have to say, vaping with the whip and an 18mm GonG connector to my bubbler has become my favorite delivery method. I have little interest in a direct draw type setup with the unit's current body style. It's much more ergonomic with the whip. Obviously all glass would provide better flavor, but I'm OK with the silicone. I use the whip dry when I want to focus on flavor.

I rarely use the bags these days. They're fun every once in a while, but both of the bags I've tried don't form an airtight seal with the valve when you're not hitting it. One of the few disappointing aspects I've encountered with this vaporizer. As someone already mentioned, I hope when they fix the bags, they'll offer replacements at a discount to the early adopters.

What did they say, I'm hanging on the edge of my seat

Precision Temperature Vaporization Experience ( lol I think this may be it? Something like this. )

And

Extract It All (?)

These were new to me.

Last night after the aroma pad session I was in a super munch mode eating everything in sight, even though I wasn't hungry. Slept like a rock and felt great this morning.

I need to make up some ABV goodies this week. I want to try Vitolos Ever Clear method for ABV too. Herbie has been treating me so nice.

Please list pieces used in direct draw.

I used 2 pieces.
18m to 18 M female/female connector. (extreme Q bowl will do)

I used a 7th Floor water pipe adapter (Extreme Q elbow joint will do... but the upward angle of the 7th floor piece is helpful.)

To me that looked like a female to female GonG adapter first and then he inserted a hose GonG adapter with a male end, not sure but looks 18mm for all pieces. I have a bunch of adapters I might try something like that.

Edit: Vito ninja'd me. :ninja:

note;
These are not the actual parts that I used. I used an ornate connector, and as stated a 7th floor water pipe piece. I added these images to show the idea and versatile nature of the choices.
This… this is on my list of things to do today.:wave:

The "Nesting Duck" System
My new preferred Herbie system.
Official.
Declared.
I'm Representin'
I made that video at 410º.
I just started using it today at 445º, and I like where the sessions all have gone.
I like that it lifts off with absolutely no resistance.
If I want it stabilized, I just put my finger against it.
I actually do hold my hand on it now to take my hits.. it is so easy to set in place on the waiting Herbalizer bowl!
No fan required. 445º all the way.. with the duckbill (GonG adapter) and the Nest(Connector)
I am using the "Nesting Duck" system
The ornate connector you see me using was actually used as and Extreme Q "Tuff Bowl" .. (cyclone bowl).. but is no more than an 18/18 female.

Mailman came and went. I asked if I could go to post office and get package. He said sure. I was in driveway pulling out when UPS pulled up and JOY ensued. I am painting house (having done) so I went to daughters and after 2 small bowl (about $8 worth of a $20 nugget purchased for this occasion.) We both cried enough. Amazing. I might have to buy daughter one. (or she can get Herbie in the will.)

Great Scott!
Does anyone have a desktop vape that they prefer over the herbalizer?

I'm considering replacing my VapeXhale cloud, but I don't know what I want.

How is the Herbie doing for direct draw. Any Herbie owners have any advice? Is it worth the money?

Can anyone compare it to the cloud Evo?

For someone who has used the volcano and this, is this much quieter? Better in any way? Used volcano's are cheap enough, but if the Herbie is also peoples favorite direct draw vape, I'd consider it.

In the beginning i used my Herbie exclusively for about two months before using any of my other vapes.
It is that good!

For direct draw it delivers cool vapor in large quantities with great ease!
For use with a WT, just connect the required size GonG and you are good to go!
Or connect glass for direct draw like @mvapes and @Vitolo do.

I also have the EVO and they are two totally different beasts!
The Herbie is ready way before you are while the EVO requires a wait to heat soak.
They are both equally effective in producing thick vapor that tastes delicious!

If you want a versatile and very accurate vape i would recommend the Herbie.
If you are after brute power and huge clouds go for the EVO.

I do not find the Herbie to be noisy at all, it clicks and whirs to itself quietly.
Some find it to be too noisy but it has never bothered me.

I also like the fact that Herbie is multi talented!
Whip, bags, WT or direct draw are all possibilities!

For me Herbie trumps the EVO though in a few regards, all IMO.
First was Herbie has been rock solid since i plugged her in! A few software glitches here and there but all easily fixed by unplugging the unit.
Second there is NO learning curve! Open Herbie, press the Vaportherapy button and select temp, grind, load and place bowl and start to draw. Slow, fast or medium it does not matter.
Third you can connect Herbie to pretty much anything with the correct connectors.
Fourth and not least is the accuracy of the Herbie!

And my experiences with the EVO:
First it was running too cold from BRAND NEW, returned for recalibration. Not a good way to start. Add another $50 to the price for return shipping anmd two weeks wait time.
I can only get dark brown ABV running at MAX, others can get it running at 2 to 3pm. Seems to be technique sensitive and has a higher learning curve.
The Limited Swagger HT is awesome! Also works really well with my bubbler inverted.
Gets hot as hell at the top!
Have burnt myself on the ELB's when removing after a hit.

So not so conclusive as i love both of them and will not be selling either of them.
I would say try them out before buying if possible!
Some days i think i just need the EVO and then i try Herbie and it all changes again and vice versa...
Vicious vape circle!

Good morning guys! I have something strange to report about my Herbie. I was sitting in silence just admiring my shiny clam when I heard this faint buzzing noise. I put my eay to the clam and it was slightly warm on the bottom and I could hear the humming sound. I'm like wait, I haven't even touched Herbie so why is it warm? So I plugged him into the kill a watt meter only to find out that Herbie pulls 1 watt even when closed. It's constantly pulling 1 watt. Is it just mine or are others also pulling power when it's closed and supposedly powered off? I just find this strange.

Never happened to me.
I leave mine plugged in 24/7 and it has always room temperature to the touch, never warm.

mine has the electronic buzz but no heat. I wonder why it is pulling while idle.

@darkrom -- I just got my EVO, so I'll compare for you when I've had it for a little while. After one night it's what I thought it was, but want to give it more time since there are some noticeable differences from the original Cloud. And there is a whole thread just for this comparison that I will probably keep my comments to.
