These look ok on paper but given the .3 ohm resistance and the break down rates and having wires in your oil it defeats the purpose of going healthy.

Its a top for the Persei that allows for on the fly voltage regulation. Anywhere from 3.7v to 7.4v in 0.1v increments. Also does nifty stuff like test resistance and measure battery life. @Sleepin in CA was the initial beta tester and posted a video a few pages back.
And yes, if you have a Persei and a Hercules this is a no brainer buy.

What is the difference between iris v1 and v2? Is there a reason I should use the latter or former, I imagine this is going to be integral in my use of herc with flowers! Much quicker to find a workable heat setting than adjusting screens/batteries about! 
Also, I notice there is nowhere where you can buy an Iris v1 now? What's up with that?

The only downside to the v1 that I can see is that when you click it off five times, the unit will often blast at full power for several seconds. I simply remove my cart before turning the Iris off, that way there's no need to worry about accidentally roasting my oil.

Once full testing is done have one more tester after Caligula then we will evaluate make all the changes do small batch run release it to the public hear feedback then go full production
With the Herc you can do herbs easily since you can pump the voltage up to 4.2 and increase the heat up time.
this version has that problem fixed with the full blast. The v2 goes full blast i think 1 second after pushing it, totally eliminating the cart going off when turning the unit off.

what are some of your guys favorite attachments for the persei ?
I Have had a persei for almost 2 years now and have only used it a few times
that is not anything against the persei I think its the best vape pen around just me personally I find myself wanting to take a dab off a ti nail but I don't want this thing going to waste any longer and with summer coming up it would be fun.
im thinking a new attachment would spark my interest again I already own a kiss cart
what do people think of the Hercules or bender I think it would be cool to vape herb on the go but the bender does not look travel friendly and how good would the sr71 work maybe someone has some input hate to see it collecting dust

If you are serious about your oil and dont want to compromise then the SR is the way to go. Nothing comes close and it can even measure up to a nail.
The kiss cart is good for on the go, but wire vs ceramic heater = no comparison

thanks I think I am gonna go ahead and give the Hercules a shot I want to order tonight maybe you can quickly tell me what the difference between sr71 Vs. sr74 is?
also how well do these vape loos herbal material I would like the option for my persei if i buy the aw imr batteries as well is it a decent portable vape ?
The SRs are basically the same. The SR74 is made to be dummy proof so you dont have to worry about assembly. It also comes with the short ti coils so you dont have to worry about cutting the coil down. Its rod also is not as powerful so you get longer battery life and still get the same production.
The sr74 is not backwards compatible so you cant run an sr71 rod on it but you can run the sr74 rod on the sr71.
At the moment neither really works well with loose leaf. Its possible but requires work and patience. The iris v2 should change that though but thats a little while away
Well, since my Persei top died I am so happy that I have The Core and my Omicron HVD. These are going to make the wait to get my Persei back a little easier. I will be able to do everything the same except no Going mobile with the Herc.

That's a pretty easy one to solve. Soak your cart in iso for a while and from now on, don't load more than a very small amount at a time. You should be good to go!
