@Vapolution Vaporizers, I see that your shipping charge to Australia for a vaporizer package is $40 (or thereabouts). Is there lower shipping rates for accessories? It would be a bugger to break an AIWB for example and have to pay the replacement cost + $40.

Also, I know the VAP3 will be able to take larger loads than the VAP2 but will it be effective with as small a loads? I'm thinking the AIWB and other all glass attachments.

If not, will you keep selling the VAP2?
The VAP3 having a larger bowl would be better for multitudes of people.
The VAP2 the bowl size in my case is perfect since I vap alone.
The VAP2 is more of a medical device.

Too bad there's not an option?

If I had to pay $40 for shipping I would of ordered a 2nd AWIB.
However I have broke: {glass adapters, water pipes, ash collectors, solo GonG's, Stem's} but never a AIWB.
My floor has 3/8" padding and I will change it to 5/8" EVA.

Just because I could, this morning my first session was on the vapo with a new straight bowl/whip. What a sweet way to start the day with about 0.03 gm of some kushie goodness a good few hits with my first cup of 'Joe'

I really am liking the vapolution whip tubing after some use , clean taste, stays clean and it's not as unmanageable as I thought it would be i'm even using it now on my ev-2.

One killer thing about Vapolution other then their products is amazing shipping time. I mean really how come only one or two other vendors can ship to the gulf coast of Florida from the Left coast of the United states and get my order to me in a day without overnight shipping. Vapolution and JyARz do it every order.

And @ataxian the vapo 2 isn't 'ugly' it just isn't discreet IMHO, if it didn't have the logo and the word Vaporizer on it nobody would guess what it is.

Just Buzzed and lovin' the Vapolution on a very lazy sunday afternoon.

:peace:

Sorry for the delayed response. The VAP3 will only accept larger loads and yes we will continue to support and sell VAP2. If you want to order accessories to Australia, send us an email with what you would like to order and your postal code and we will get you an accurate shipping quote. The shipping is set up that way on the website to account for heavier items. We need to work on getting a real time shipping quote system set up.

Someone let us know how those work, ASAP!

We are working on instructions for the Concentrate Bowl, which should be available soon as well as a youtube video showing it in action.

But for the time being, I will describe it with words.

1. Warm up the Vapolution to the 3 O'clock setting or higher.
2. Position the retaining washer as you would for our dry herb bowl.
3. scoop a small dab on the end of the dab tool.
4. carefully slide the loaded dab tool into the Concentrate Bowl all the way.
5. place the bowl with the dab tool in it, down into the preheated Vapolution.
6. After 10-15 seconds, remove the Concentrate Bowl from the Vapolution. Make sure the dab has melted off the tool and is at the bottom of the Concentrate Bowl.
7. Remove the Dab tool.
8. Put the tubing on the Concentrate Bowl and place it back inside the Vapolution
9. Wait 10-15 seconds and then enjoy pure oil vapor!! :)

@Vapolution Vaporizers - do you recommend withdrawing the Concentrate Bowl before taking a hit?

i use a similar design tube as a hash/bho tube in my vape - which uses a heated oven tube similar to the Vapolution - i find that inhaling while in the oven tube to be pretty harsh, compared to removing and then inhaling. vapor delivered is essentially the same.

Also, what temperature are you shooting for?

i have to crank my heater above 450°F to handle hash/bho - i've tried as high as 480°F, but i just don't have enough test results (limited access to concentrates) to determine an optimal temperature and process.

No need to withdraw the tube. I leave it in until it stops producing vapor. You are right about the heat setting. It needs to be much hotter than vaping dry herb. 450-550 deg F is where we see the best results.

Vapes on vapes on vapes!
Well I sold my Cloud and the EVO is in for a tune-up, so I awoke out the VAP 2.0 after a long slumber. I'm not sure if it's because I've cut back lately, using a different vape, or whatever, but I vaped a stem quick before work and I felt great! I got caught up using my higher price vapes that I didn't remember how much ass this one kicks! The Vapolution team rocks! I hope the VAP 3.0 continues to build on your great line of vapes. I'm so glad I bought this vaporizer and it will now get a spot in my rotation even once my re-tuned EVO comes home.

Thanks for your response. No worries about the delay. If I needed a quick response I could have contacted you directly.

Your new logo, website (well the desktop one anyway, not so much the mobile one) and packages look great. The purity pack simplifies things nicely and is a great name.

It's great that you are keeping on producing the VAP2 alongside the VAP3. It really seems like a near perfect vaporizer from the reviews here, and I'm sure many will still want the option of very small loads.

A VAP2 or 3 will be my next purchase after selling my Solo and getting a Lotus. My medical needs, locality and family situation require a small vaporizer that can be tucked away and fired up quickly so the Vapolution will be a luxury device for enjoyment for me.

Here's a few things I'd like to see in the VAP3 and VAP2 accessories:

1. (My needs only) No references to vaporizing on the device and an aromatherapy bowl for cover. This would enable me to leave the device out and switched on - I could just tuck a stem away in a bag in a draw.

2. 2-part all glass stem for oil with a GonG joint in the middle to facilitate loading.

3. Herb bowls with a male GonG on top to enable the use of hydratubes - also an in-house hydratube from Vapolution with a bent neck.

4. Glass retaining ring on all the stems if practicable.

5. Tubing to GonG adapters available from Vapolution.

All the best with your new vaporizer. I look forward to ordering in the not too far distant future.

Cheers
TF

Great Scott!
I'm just now taking interest in this vape. It flew under my radar. It looks like the 3.0 is about to release? I should probably wait then. I need to read this whole (surprisingly short) thread, and then go from there.

How long until 3.0 is out?

Don't wait for the 3. It is going to have a bigger bowl and you want the one that uses smaller loads (I thought you said efficiency was important to you).

This vape was on my radar for years but I never got it because I thought my more expensive vapes would blow it out of the water. In some respects they do, but this thing is the absolute tastiest vape I've ever had and it hits well at the right temps. It's only $100. Don't waste your time reading...just get it! I was using the Vap2 instead of all my logs once I got it.

That being said, I don't like it as much with water. I only used it with the all-in-wonder bowl. The bubblers made it too restrictive and made its taste weaker.

Stickstones would you then not recommend it to someone (like myself) who will be mainly using it through water ?

I agree with everything you wrote except the water issue. I had a vapolution 2 for years in college and I loved it. When I moved I gave it away, and I have been considering replacing it with a fancier desktop, but the introduction of the concentrate tube has really made me reconsider.

I always used my vapolution dry with the hands free whip in the car, but when at home I would often use a bong. I had fat orings around the end of my whip, and I would jam that down into the slide hole of the bong. I ramped up the temp and got huge, delicious clouds that caused my girlfriend to bitch mercilessly about the weed stench.

I personally would not need a larger bowl than the two options available for the 2.0, as it is no hassle to reload a fresh chunk for greenies.

I wouldn't, but obviously others have enjoyed it that way. I never used it with the whip...just with the aiwb for taste. When I did whip it to glass I used an Extreme elbow adapter and it worked fine. At the time I had a Matrix Ion and I felt I lost a lot of flavor with that particular bubbler (you wouldn't lose as much flavor with a bubbler with less diffusion). So you know where I am coming from, I liked a medium pack that was slightly restrictive. This would get me good clouds but would be too restrictive when adding a water path. I didn't try it much after that, but might have liked it better with a looser pack. Also keep in mind that I have other options that were designed for excellence with water to use. The VAP2 with water will be much more acceptable to someone without the options I have been lucky enough to have.

Efficiency is important to me, but I also need hard hits because I have a tolerance. I'm the perfect example of there is no perfect vape haha. I'm seriously probably going to order one of these soon. Believe it or not one thing that I really REALLY like is that infusion thing. How does that work in the real world, good? I'd love some "enhanced" buds for my firefly when I'm out on the go.

Is this something that users with a high tolerance enjoy as well, or just those with the lower tolerance level? Haven't gotten home yet to read the whole thread.

I don't know how we are going to compare tolerances, but this vape was all I needed when I decided to sit down with it. You know the vapes I've been rolling with. One of my favorite nightcap vapes. Just sit down and sip it until you are good. Usually only took me one stem, sometimes two to get there.

My tolerance is fairly high and the vapo does a good job, I do need a few stems to get where I wanna be but the hits can be epic with amazing taste.

I am pretty much going to vape at least 1.5 to 2.5 a night no matter what vape I'm using if I have the bud. I like slow mellow sessions but I could go through 4 bowls in 20 minutes if I wanted to.

For me the vapolution 2 could well serve as my only vape if I didn't have VAS.
Love vapin' little pellets of joy.

The Infuser works great in real life, sweet sticky reclaim soaked bud every couple weeks is a treat.

Alright, so I'm getting one, now it is just a matter of when, and what am I going to sell to afford it haha. I know its cheap, but I am literally running out of spaces to store vapes/goods. I'll sell a computer monitor or something and set it up there. It just seems to unique to pass up. It is cheap, innovative, and high end despite the price. That oil accessory looks cool too, but the infusion thing is what really sold me. Its such a good idea!

RUDE BOY

The infuser is nice, I don't use the AIWB often at all, but the infuser with the whip has been my favorite lately eventhough I didn't really care for whips before starting using the Vapo 2 six months ago now I'm sold.

I'm pretty excited to be getting one of these soon. I always glossed over it thinking "cheap vape no thanks" but it seems to be right up my ally. Is it going to replace my main desktop, unlikely, unless the purity is just THAT good. For me it means everything. From my first bowl of my firefly I was sold based on how clean the vapor was and tasted. I'm sure the same would apply to this thing. It may not be the hardest hitter out there, but it looks like such a good design I'm pretty bummed I didn't grab one sooner!

If it beats my firefly flavor I'll shit a brick! I swore nothing could beat the cera, and nothing did for a long time, but then the firefly blew me away. If there is ANOTHER level of flavor I'll be in love, as long as it is effective enough to get me medicated. Clean, safe, flavor, simple, and AFFORDABLE. What a dummy for dismissing it based on price haha.

Infusion package ordered with 2 day shipping. Screw it. I'm impressed enough to need to try it.

There is an eBay vendor with it for a chunk less, but I wanted to buy direct from this one. Having a direct presence on the forums = direct buy for me usually. Returning the favor.

I'll get the aiwb eventually, couldn't resist the infusion. Going to put some blue dream in there and forget about it for a month, then throw that in the firefly on the go for a super bowl before an event or any time I'm in bad pain.
