Help Me With Image Posting

This is a different subject. I would like step by step directions for iPad use for posting pictures. I downloaded the app for imgur. I'm unable to get past link BB code then paste into URL.

I need baby step directions. Excuse me for my inexperience. A video would be nice.

As I understand it, you're using an ipad. Try using safari instead of the app and follow the directions here for Using a moble device. Copy and paste can be tricky on a mobile device; here's a video that may help there.

It's difficult for me to do stuff like this on my Android phone, so I just wait until I'm on my laptop.

How did you end up doing it? I've been trying to figure out how to do it from my iPad as well.

I followed step by step like how she did it on the video, and I had success just today. I've been trying to figure it out for days. I also PMd vtac and paka for help.

The confusion with imgur arises from the selection of codes that it provides. There are two choices that often cause people to make mistakes: BBCode (message boards & forums) and Linked BBCode (message boards). You can use these, but if you do they must be pasted directly into the post without using the Image insert button. The reason is that they include the BBCodes but adding the BBCode is what the Image insert button does, so if you use it you get double BBCodes which mess things up.

If you want to use the Image insert button, the correct choice at imgur is Direct Link (email & IM). This is a link directly to the image (which is what the Insert image button requires) and not the imgur page holding the image (which will not work and is another common mistake).
