New Blaze recycler, no price so far (only found it on wholesale and you need an account to see the prices):

No really sure how to feel about that piece. I expect way to much diffusion. Also at about 15" height its a bit to tall for my taste.

I would be concerned that it wouldnt work properly. With the drain entering the lower chamber above where the stem enters, you may end up pulling water up the drain

Not sure if that's enough for propper function. So far ND/BL hasn't even released function videos for their last 2 recyclers so I doubt we will see anything on this one soon.

that thing really looks funny somehow...
Where's the vortex supposed to build up, in the upper chamber?

I don't see myself buying that before I've seen a water test :spliff:

looks like it will not function anyway because of the honeycomb so far up in the can...? Wonder if they tested these designs or juts tried copying some popular shit without even considering functionality...so we now know for sure the matrix perc is being produced and used in China...wonder how many more failed look-a-likes we will see...

I don't see myself buying this thing at all, way to big and everything.
There is no vortex in this piece, you draw the water through the honeycomb up the stem, through the second diffuser and it's running back into the mainchamber via the small funnel on the right. At least thats the idea, no clue if it works at all. I'd guess you will have to chug like there's no tomorrow to get enough neg pressure to even get it running.

I own another Blaze Recycler with the same style of honeycomb and it works really well. You actually draw the bubbles through the funnel, looks pretty cool. There's a video a few pages back.

That new one looks odd! Not to my tastes, but would love to see a function video. Looks like just a normal dual perc bubbler with a separate return drain. Nothing functional about the drain though? Can't the piece actually recycling!

It will function in the recycling aspect... but no vortex.... so it seems to me to be an overly diffused plain-o recycler....

Imo I see two distinct types of recyclers out there. Those that have a vortex and those that simply recycle to allow high water volume with minimal internal space for vapor to collect...

That new Blaze recycler cost $20 more wholesale over the other one so expect the retail $40 more.

You description of the water I believe is correct. Don't think it was designed for a whirlpool or the slits in the matrix are angled or something. A whirlpool isn't mandatory, but desired.

Personal I don't think honeycombs and recyclers normally work together. maybe on this one since it unconventional. On every one I have tried with a honeycomb the operation wasn't that good. Also not required for oil which is the best use of recyclers for me. why add so much diffusion to a recycler is beyond me.

Thanks @PhotoRider for checking the wholesale price!

I like (and own) the first one they released, also with HC and that one is allready pretty weak in the taste department. No clue whats left after it went through that second perc. All I know is that my small 6" recycler delivers the best taste of all the glass I own so far.

I do not plan to buy this current recycler nor do I want to encourage anybody. I just post them as I find them ;)

I must have that! Is it for sale?

It is not, I just got this last week. He has some amazing stuff. If you like it I can give you his email if you message me. He does a lot of "space" work. His IG is sandalz_glass.

So this is where all of the Recycler enthusiast hang out, eh?

Massdrop has a lovely deal going on IF the drop hits 15 commitments! I'm already in on it as these retail over $500 on ALT. Feast your eyes and grasp your wallets as you do so

Videos/reviews are over at the vapor lounge (Massdrop thread) a few pages back and let me tell you, that vortex is intense :science:

What do you guys think?

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

Picked one up the first time around at the $300 price.
Love it. Use it daily. Great vortex.

I got in on this too, but flipped it to another member to fund my Herbalizer. I do regret it a bit as it was a really cool piece. I did not vaporize with it but I did do a water test and the function was solid. I'd jump in on this one too, but need to cool my spending for a bit, plus I've kinda decided to save up for a Gordo or Mothership Incycler...someday.:evil::evil: I am just glad though that I found a good home to adopt the RooR and that it was another FC member  Cheap quality glass (D020) will just have to do for now...

the roor at massdrop is a good deal, I got one and use it with the EVO. could be for oil also, just a little big for me for that even though the water level can be high to reduce volume.

In fact since they didn't allow International orders we helped at least one other member to get one in Europe. Us FC'ers stick together
