Electronic mods for dry herbs?

I was wondering, considering that ecig based dry herb vaporizers are just too weak and can only achieve combustion, wouldn't it be technically possible to make something interesting with more powerful existing electronics mods for dry herbs?

Not sure I understand the question. I have a ton of mods, some have electronics, some don't. My Pax & Evo have electronics in them and both work swimmingly. There are many others that have electronics.

You mean like a VV/VW ecig battery?

I built a bag vape with parts from an old heat gun that had 1 temp- on. Luckily I'm apparently amazing at coils because it would get thick vapor and never really cooked it too much

If you're specifying only ecig based, dunno what to tell you- most common 510s are very lacking in power output, and wouldn't reliably run a bigger heating core very well.. If you built something and put in a Cera battery(18650) though, I could imagine some wild possibilities

edit- I have been thinking about trying to use my unused ecig battery with an MFLB, though the current on the battery is purportedly too low

Hi guys,

I was talking about mods for ecigarettes, like the provari, the pipeline pro...
Those things seem to be at least as powerful as what you can find in the FF, Pax, and so on... (well I may be wrong, that's just a feeling ) with 18500 /18650 batteries.
This way, wouldn't it be possible to make some kind of ego/510 efficient "clearomizer" for dry herb?

lol... Well there are many that will try to sell you a clearomizer for herbs but most are just rebranded e-cigs and don't work worth a hoot. Dig around in the portables and the e-cig style sections above this section and you'll see. For herb you are way better off with an actual herb vaporizer IMHO....and I have a ton of e-cig mods, they just aren't cut from the same cloth as my herb vapes.

It's like needing a lighter you can use outdoors in windy weather. Are you gonna build a wind shield around your bic, or just buy a torch lighter? While it seems like it would be easy to convert e-cig tech to herb vaping, it's not, with the current technology.

I know that actual stuff like clearo for herbs are just failures right now. The question is why?
Electronic mods are getting more and more powerful 20 W/30 watts and I think it can go to 70 Watss for some recents, that's much more than what we can see on portable vaporizers, isn't it?
I mean, MLFB, Pax, Firefly are really small piece vaporizers, what technically speaking prevents those mods to being used as vaporizers?

i think it is the size of the herb bowl being too small in something the size of an e-cig. Maybe in an e-cigar. Can't stuff enough herb into an e-cig to have a satisfactory vape experience.
