Thanks so much for the info, I can definitely dig picking up the Omicron Lite. How long would the Omicron Lite measure with a Herc SR74 attached vs with KISS carts? I am buying this pretty much exclusively for public/OTG use, I would rather use my Nano at home through glass :D Perhaps the Omicron is the way forward after all :)

As I was saying yesterday, the Persei with the SS kit short tube is pretty stealth. Look, its even shorter than the Ophos:

anyone have a picture of the current look of the silver persei? one with a herc on it? I have seen 2 different silver looking persei's...Im trying to decide on my finish.

one member mentioned to get a white rod Hercules. However when I am on the site creating my order it doesn't give me a rod option for the Hercules. Am I missing something? What is the white and black rod mean?

I still use the SS kit with the og carts. IMO it's the best combo for discreetness.

I wa reading the vaporpedia entry for the persei and it said it will not work with hash. Does that info apply to older models only?

Thanks Caligula :) man trying to learn about these is almost like starting to learn about vaping all over again. For some reason I got it in my head that I needed pure oil in a liquid form to use a persei. I'm happy to learn that I was wrong :)

I found some people say you cant put wax or shatter directly into the Hercules...is this true? I thought you could put a piece of shatter or wax right inside of the Hercules...

Does the Hercules rip shatter and wax harder than the KISS 3.7?

I don't know about the 7.4, but I have 3.7 kiss carts and the 3.7 herc, I've been using with multiple w9 battery handles, custom mechanical mods, ego 510 batteries with adapters, and such; the kiss carts hit so good and fast and hard the first few secs, the herc needs some time to heat up but still good consistent hits. The kiss cars have been easier to clean (less parts and things to adjust and unscrew) 3.7 kiss carts are like dabbing to me, the herc is like a train smoke stack but less thick hits sometimes, and I've been getting a little oil leaking to the bottom on mine. I shall try holding it horizontal. Needless to say the Kiss carts are my best friend, and the herc is my old reliable keep at my desk and keep hitting till I pass out kind of vape.

@herbivore21 here are a few pics of the herc and the kiss attached to various devices. The carbon fiber wrap one is the omicron lite.

Thanks so much for all the info! I think the Omicron Lite is going to be the best for my purpose, so the 3.7 herc works with the Omicron Lite? Does it work well? I do like the idea of just pouring a crapload of QWISO into it and toking all day whilst out and about.

Also where did you get the carbon fiber wrap for the Omicron Lite? The one thing I don't like about any of the w9 vapes is the big plain logos. I prefer no logos on anything ;)

Pretty sure the herc only works on percy bruh. Even if it does the battery life would suck balls (would highly doubt all day use).

@DaNi_DuB I've been getting crazy hits from 3.7 version of the hercules with the white rod, great battery life on 18500

@herbivore21 the hits from the hercules from the omicron lite are pretty good until the oil melts down then the vapor thins out. this vape is designed for a lot of oil. I've only been using one coil. I really like the load as you go aspect with the kiss, but thats just me. and there is less to unscrew and clean. Both are a power horse combo. The carbon fiber wrap is from 3m, just type 3m di-noc on amazon!

for some reason I can't get the option to chose my voltage anymore when I click the hercules s4-74 page that is interesting.. @THC SCIENTIFIC ? And it runs great, I personally would go for the persi, more room to upgrade, and then grab a 3.7 kiss cart and a 10 dollar ego, and 5 dollar adapter(different threads) or the 64 dollar omicron lite to try the kiss, its amazing.

There is no more option. You buy the SR74 with the 7.4w rod. If you want a 3.7v rod you need to buy it separately. Its under "spare parts".
