Evo due in tomorrow by 12. I'm feeling a 2 cap kief sandwich for the inaugural draw. It's been some time since I hit a cloud much less the evo I will be sure to post my experience. See everyone in the clouds

REVIEW: first observation I had was how light the evo is. Practically a feather compared to the og cloud. I received 8 ELB'S and two wristbands. After I turned it upside and then back upright I heard a sound ,like loose sand was stuck inside. Could it be small particles of glass?
Anyways plugged it in and set to three for a faster heat up as suggested by stonemonkey. I decided to throw some herb in first. I'm very big on efficiency and that's important to me when looking at potentially new vaporizers therefore I loaded a thin amount that just covered the bottom screen on the ELB. 5 mins or so later I loaded the ELB in and set the evo on a CB perched on a frit.the first draw didn't produce much visible vapor but THE FLAVOR. impressively better then the enano IMO. This is fine and all I am a cloud chaser however and I had to crank it up. Set to three for a few minutes gave me thicker vapor but a sharp decline in flavor. I proceeded to use the evo through a HT and the mobius ion. Got a large cloud in the ion but the flavor still isn't shining bright. I dialed it down and got some flavor I can see I will need a few days to become accustomed to this device.the high of course is off the charts
Any tips are welcome !

I do 3+ for larger pieces honestly. It definitely will get you high fast at that temp

For controlled vapour output with glass, I really haven't used anything like the EVO. You can go all in or just milk up a part of the glass for small vapour hits. Though....it's hard to not always go all in

Seems like the concentrate ELB is taking it's time... has anyone jury rigged something successfully yet?
I remember @Hexi saying he liked concentrate on cotton, do you just put it where the ELB goes or father down?

Had two Evos going tonight on my Everest Glassworks recycler.. had one at 3 and the one a little farther up the chain at 4 to balance things out. Hits like a truck..
Props to SM and crew... Ive never used a vape like this and I have a whole closet full of vapes Ive accumulated over the years.....

Yes, mine is like that too. After inquiring about this a couple times the response was that the temperature difference between 3:30 and max was small.

$35 China glass arrived. Bought from Alliexpress- this particular one was suggested with link. The Evo bamboo does not fit into it. What am I doing wrong?

19mm or 14mm?

I have one. It is a 14mm joint. You'll need a 14mm Male>18mm Female adapter. The EVO requires an 18mm Female opening to fit properly.

Just ordered my EVO and HT at 4;30 EST Yesterday.
When and how will I get tracking, and roughly how long will it take to come to the north east of the US. Also, is there any recommendations anyone has for anything concerning the EVO? Dial settings?
Do I have to be concerned about water spilling from my SSFG HT into the bamboo?

I have to give HUGE props to @lazylathe for allowing me to babysit his newly acquired EVO w/Swagger LE for so long. His generosity is something that I am in awe of! The EVO did not skip beat once throughout my rigorous testing, and thankfully nothing broke! The Swagger LE HT is very, very awesome.
@lazylathe left his Cloud+ which he has used extensively for the past month or more, so i'm looking forward to his thoughts on the EVO in comparison. So far, after going through at least a couple dozen ELB's through the Cloud+, I have made some observations. the Cloud+ runs hotter (better for concentrates) but stays cooler (compared to the blistering hot top 1/3rd of the EVO). The Cloud+ temp algorithim is also better and more responsive IMO. I also prefer the 90 min. shut off timer.
Overall the differences aren't vast and both the EVO and Cloud+ are incredible!

Its 14mm.. I bought one of those and gave it away. I couldnt hit it and not end up with a mouth full of water.

There certainly has to be a reason one is $30 and one is $300. I put in another $10 for adapter. If no good, then so it is.

ABout problems and the orange glow I just wrote in the anticipation thread: Power cycle if you find the led not switching to green and ready!
This makes my Evo usable ! Hope this helps other internationals too
The Swagcycler is nice, still testing water levels... anybody can chime in with expirience on that?

There have been some issues with the international evo's, my unit sometimes fails to register the temp and the light doesn't go green but still heats up. I have also recently noticed that the bamboo can get so hot it glows bright orange with heat.
I just wanted to confirm the bamboo is not supposed to get so hot it glows bright orange, correct?
@vakedcow I've been doing the reset but even whilst sitting there watching it my bamboo went from normal to bright orange in a few minutes. I was at 12 turned it to 2pm, waited a few mins figured it should be hot (no green light) did a reset and bam it was already glowing! Be careful. I was happy doing the reset past few days but now this glow scares the sh*t out of me, happens so quick!
Yeah how is your cycler? I have to fill it up so high to get it to actually recycle whilst in use with the evo. And when i say high i mean less than 1/4" under the water guard so high water is coming into the bottom safety catchment chamber. sux. Ive played with lower water level so much, recycles beautifully with no evo obstruction but to get it to cycle it has to be VERY high.
My cycler is completely different to the pictures posted earlier from vxl, and different again from other versions i've seen in videos. My funnel chamber is huge. I'll get some pics up soon. It is very beautiful.
