But ya know what's really sad. What's really sad is all the people on YouTube telling this guy what a great review it was. This guy has a following and not for the right reasons......

I am finding the MFLB on Craigslist for $50-60 locally; should I be leery of buying a used MFLB or should I come out swinging at the first deal I find?

They might've claimed warranty on them already, so ask for a serial number, then email MF to check it.

My orbiter is starting to piss me off. They need to make a better base for this awesome bubbler.

@KidFated. Hobbit referred to his ugly screw model as a beta. Once you correct that metal arm it helps a lot. I bet we'll see a better base combined with wood selection in the near future.

I go where the thrills are
i accidentally stumbled across this review of the FF, which compares it to the mflb. from what i've seen, it seems to be a fancy, glorified mflb, albeit with more downsides. why buy this, when you can have the real thing for a lot less? :)

Because it's a very different device than the MFLB. The only thing that is similar is the on-demand heating. Otherwise, it has VASTLY superior flavor to the MFLB, a vastly superior build quality, and pure convection vapor. Is it overpriced? You bet. Does it bury the MFLB in terms of flavor and ease of use? You bet.

I own two FF's and two MFLB's. Love em both. The MF is way more stealthy and possibly the greatest value in all of vapordom...what you get for 75 or 80 bucks is pretty sweet. But if I never left the house I would never use the MF over the FF. You should try one...you will be very impressed. (Might not wanna spend the bucks on it, but you won't mistake it for just an overpriced MF ever again.)

As for that Toronto Vape review, it's largely horseshit. Contains a number of factual errors.

.....could not sit through that review. Had to shut it off. Guy is obnoxious.. acts more like a coke head.

There are places online that already sell it for around $75. If you hunt around, they run promos or have coupon codes and can get it even cheaper. I'd personally just do that. I think the last MFLB I got was $69 and it came with 4 batteries. I'd rather shell out the extra 10 or so to get it new and have that peace of mind that you didn't get a fake.

So with these lifetime warranty's, you are only allowed 1 warranty service per lifetime?
No, the warranty transfers.

Box 1 breaks, you email Magic Flight, they get pics and verify, then ask you to tear the trench out. Once pics of that are sent and they see them, they'll send you replacement Box 2, which now has a warranty. Box 1 warranty is flagged as invalid in their system. I'm on my 3rd LB right now, once due to me being stoned as hell and dropping it breaking the plexi, and the second time my bong tipped over and water went through the whip and waterlogged it, causing it to warp. My third LB has a warranty that's the exact same as the previous two.

People have bought used boxes and realize they needed to claim warranty, then found out that one has already been claimed. Some people are mean and selfish.

You end up paying for a box that doesn't work right, whoever sold it to you is a jerk, and magic flight says "sorry, we told you so" they warn about warrantied boxes on their site saying only buy used boxes from friends or people you trust. (FC family)

I don't understand, if my new box was given a new warranty and I destroyed my old one, gave a new person the new box and a month later he/she had to claim the warranty. Shouldn't they be able to do this.

I don't see why Magic-Flight would say my warranty is now active after they shipped the replacement. I wouldn't want to give someone a really used mflb and would prefer them not to go through the reclaiming the warranty hassle themselves.

I wouldn't be wary of a $50-60 MFLB, I purchased mine for 80 in 2011 brand new from Amazon. I saw a Ascent on CL for 75, that I'd be wary of (but I'd still call and try and it get if it wasn't posted over 20 days ago), I didn't think anyone in my town would even own that.

I guess I just don't see how you can meet someone in real life, give them money and not even test or see the product before exchanging money, sounds like being a poor consumer.

EDIT:
By I don't understand, I really mean, I understand but can't see the logic where the person wouldn't be able to replace the box given that a new warranty is given out for the different box. Also you don't have to "return" the box as much as you have to take a picture of its individual parts.

Some people aren't the brightest. I would never buy a used box anyways. But what im saying is, they (sketchball) will sell you the OLD BROKEN box that they should have destroyed like MF asked. But sometimes MF is too trusting and the box gets sent out before pics are sent to them. MF will warranty box after box if its done the legit way like they ask.
