I dropped my nano yesterday! I went from about 3ft to a carpeted floor. It has now developed a slight rattle, as of the heater core is a little loose (although it doesn't feel loose).

Very sad.... but at least if it develops any problems I know andy is a stand up kind of guy.

Right anyway it's still fully functional, time for a stem of grapefruit and maybe some kush bubble after!
As we say in this remote part of the globe, she'll be right! Just unscrew the bottom two screws on the base of your E-Nano (under two sticky cork feet on either side of the E-Nano logo) and check that the plug at the base of the heater hasn't been pushed down. You don't want an open end at the back of your vapor path, even if there are negligible amounts of electronics behind it! If the heater plug is not snugly in place, push it back into the SS cylinder.

Be prepared for the possibility that something else might be rattling though, the heaters in my experience tend to sit in a way that it is very difficult for the heater plug to be knocked out, especially on carpet. If something else is rattling, it could just be the terminals bumping into the wood or something because they have fallen out of place.

But be ye not afraid, I've yet to think of a problem you can possibly have with the E-Nano that can't be fixed quickly and painlessly. Even if you need something replaced, you and I both know that Andy is going to provide great service :D

Hey I have a question on epicvape glass. Have any of you tried it with your Solo? Planetvape has been out for a long time and I noticed that they moved back the date again. The epicvape glass looks nice and less expensive by a little. Will the GonG fittings work in particular?

Thanks!

Nope. No go on the GonG. I hear the new thick stems fit tho.

Now that don't make good sense! How can one fit but not the other? Not that I think I am right just don't get it.

Hey it looks like his new website is up. I don't see a way to choose wood type if ordering the e nanno. I am sure they will work it out.

FAIK the stems are now made of a thicker glass so it fits into the oven of the Solo. The gongs, however are the same thickness. I could be wrong tho

Both my thick wall stems and GonGs fit the Solo, but YMMV. I don't use my Solo through water so I haven't bothered to try it.

Would someone recommend the accessories a person needs to mate his Enano with a 19mm glass piece (I think I want the Adjust-a-Bowl GonG, is this correct)? For example, it's not clear if I need to purchase the Basket Screens.

And, would someone who has experience with both the Enano and the Sublimator pm me his experiences with both? Thanks.

Hi Liberty, my experience is limited with the Nano (only had mine a week now). I got an adjust-a-bowl and one of the all-glass gongs. I like the adjust-a-bowl for its versatility, but both work well. The adjust bowl comes with a basket screen, but it's not a bad idea to get the extra baskets for when a screen gets mangled (see what I did there @Caligula ?) .

So I thought fookit and whipped off the bottom of my nano to see what was rattling.

It was the heater core inside the metal column rattling. I think it's usually held in place by the pressure from the cables (? @ACE OF VAPE @herbivore21 ). That or are the cables held under the screw which attaches the wood to the metal body? or is it meant to 'pop' into place if so then mines a bit damaged from the fall.

Either way a bit of poking and the pressure of the cables is holding it in place firmly and securely. I know tinkering with things isn't always a good idea AND I'd always recommend talking to the manufacturer first but I fancied my chances. He who dares rodney!

e2a herbivore did you say "plug" under the heater core?? mines just the heater core and some cables? pulled straight out. Thanks for the help

Almost there...
Just reporting in after a few months of being MIA in this thread!

Fired up the Nano again today!
BHO on cotton using the glass screen stem.
Flavor city and cloud city!!!
Feeling very nice and mellow on this Sunday afternoon!

If anyone is thinking about buying one of these vapes, just do yourself a favor and buy one!!

I still have a place for my Nano between the Herbie and the EVO!

Anyone have a 18mm GoG enano adaptor? Hows the airflow with the glass screen vs a normal mesh screen? I'm thinking about ordering one for my HI but I want the best airflow, I hate poking through screens with my glass stem.

Thanks for letting me borrow your gong while I order mine! This introduction of the Nano to glass bubbler is like a whole new different world of vaporization! Now my dry stem is reserved for occasional flavour country and backup.

I got to lay down.
This TKO is little!
However in my case it pair on the HOT SIDE of the NANO.
I was on level 7.
Next session level 6 I think will be just right?

I need a nap first!

Sorry, should have clarified; the plug is just a ceramic piece on the bottom of the heater (looks like part of the heater), it is to plug the hole in the bottom of the SS cylinder between the heater and the air path. It is not a power plug, just a heat plug ;) Poking is all it takes to put it back in place! Congratulations, you have just joined the ranks of the Nano self-repairing crew! :D

My tolerance is sky high at the moment, so my Nano has been doing oils and kief almost exclusively. This setup is so efficient, seriously guys, ditch cotton and go for SS. It is reclaim heaven!

The way I set up my oils is put a standard Nano screen in the bottom of the adjust-a-bowl, then get a small piece of SS wool, dab your oil onto it, stick another bigger piece of SS wool over the top to keep your Nano heater/SS cylinder clean.

Do your dabs, (use an empty carbon filter/whatever glass with a screen in-between your GonG and bong to make sure that oil doesn't drip through inside your favourite piece!), take out the GonG after each hit and leave it sitting upside down so that the oil is not pulled through the GonG into other parts any more than it should! This will minimize loss of oil into your bubbler and allow you to reclaim the oil off smaller glass pieces that are easier to drop in a container of ISO :D

BTW for those wondering, I use setting 10 exclusively for oils. 8.5-9 for kief only (i never mix kief anymore, love a good kief only bowl!) and no higher than 7.5 for flowers.

I'm having trouble choosing between the ev-2 and the nano, I was set on the nano but now there is the ev-2 sale I'm comparing again.

Which is the heaviest hitter for high temp small loads (.1 or .05) attached to a water tool?

I cant find a definitive answer on this with the water tools. I've seen ppl recommend both the ev-2 and nano.

Edit: I will be getting the nano :)
