Even if screws are all set, the heater will ratlle and it does not affect the operating imo.

This could be false, I thought it was true after tightening mine like 4 times, but trying to find the heatport for a dab became a bit inconvenient. I don't know how I have gotten mine fixed if persistence isn't the answer. I really hope the next iterations include bigger screw heads to fix that minor thing.
Also anyone interested in the oil adapter, from what I know its still a prototype, I am hoping for them to release it by the end of April but that may be too optimistic.
EDIT:
If you're trying hard to force the heat exchanger to stay still you will notice the venting plate and not the screws are what really force the heat port to stay still.

My heat port doesn't move or rattle in the least. But I do treat my vapes with kid gloves.
On a side note; I am amazed that since deciding that I would go ahead and use vapes that incorporate Glass in their designs I've broken none.
Being an old fart with neuropathy causing numb hands and fingers I was hesitant using small glass pieces But in Six months using the Vapo 2, The Hammer and the Underdog I have broken Zero (as in No) glass.
I am amazed since most of my vaping is done on a glass top table with cast metal edges. Miracle of Miracles for me. Hey I know it may mean little to anyone else on the forum But ...

That's awesome! I actually have an early prototype of the hammer with a more ergonomic handle, but we decided that it was too bulky and went for the smaller size

For the rattle/move debate of the heater. May be ill let @Head Tools tell us more.
IMO the heater is thin SS metal assemblated so stress shall be gentle in any case BUT you can apply stress to the whole heater by both of the tubes. this kind of stress represent the user joining the bowl to the heater, this bondage is quite spherical. It make the hammer permits to orientate the hot air flux in a tiny load. The stress even light is uniform and IME it produces a flexion deformation of the whole thing (heater+...) sandwiched in the two parts of plastic.

I know @Ed's TnT contacted you about making unbreakable wood stems because I directed him to you. What's happening there? An unbreakable stem is the only thing keeping the Hammer from being the ultimate camping/backpacking vapourizer.

Hello so after reading this entire thread i WANT A HAMMER BAD!!!. I have a pinnacle which is great but very temperamental so i decided to get a plam from the same company -_-. Its not bad but definitely not what i was looking for. I have been interested in the lotus or vapman even the iolite. But after going through all 36 pages i know what i want. Its funny because i saw this vape last yr and never liked it i just didnt like butane based vapes. Im so mad i missed the buy one get one free or even the 60 dollar deal i paid 60 for the palm 2.0 but the hammer seems WAY MORE WORTH IT. I like this company they seem nice and caring kinda reminds me of my favorite vape(mflb). So i can't wait to get one and give my thoughts on it. Keep up the great work head tools loving what you guys are doing and bringing to the table.

@$unnyblaq I think we were separated at birth...seriously! I started vaping in August of last year with the palm 2.0. I was pleased it was quick, the flavor was good and I loved it for its concealment factor. At work and at home I can just step out back for a few minutes and do my thing and although it would get me nice and lifted it just wouldn't deliver that Punch that I would get from combustion. So in September after some research I moved up to the Pinnacle Pro and was like W
W!!! I was now able to get that good strong effect that I was looking for and I bought a whole bunch of glass to vape with. My only problem now was that I needed a couple cycles with my PnP to get where I wanted to be but at work I don't always have 16 mins. to sit back and get lifted. A few weeks ago my PnP stopped working so I had to go back to using my Palm 2.0 and I can't help that feeling that I'm again missing something, not to mention I get to just look at my glass while I vape instead of using it to vape. So last week I did my taxes and decided it was time for another Vape that can give me that good Punch that I want. For the past 10 to 15 yrs. my primary smoking piece was my Dugout. It fit me perfect it was compact, quick and easy. I could take two hits and be good for an hour or two. After trying to decide what vaporizers to start looking at I knew only two things for sure, no more batteries and I want my Dugout back but in Vaporizer form! Well, after much thread reading and internet research I was trying to decide between the Lotus or VG and I came across this thread and after a day of reading and even tough I wasn't even half way through the thread I couldn't wait I had to order what I think is my new Dugout in vaporizer form...The Hammer

I ended up getting mine on sale for $99 shipped through V8PE.com. If you Google The Hammer vaporizer a couple websites come up that have it for cheaper but I've had no past expierience of buying from them and I don't want to end up with a knock off. Like I always say I don't mind paying a little more for piece of mind and although I have never purchased from v8pe.com either if you try to buy from TheHammer directly it states that all orders are fulfilled by V8PE.com so that made me a little more comfortable with my purchase. Tell Mom I said hi and I'll see you at the next family reunion. Edit: I wanted to wait for the 420 sale but I just can't wait that long. I want The Hammer A.S.A.P. I just checked my tracking# The Hammer will be here Monday

So i finally pulled the plug i was gonna wait but couldn't any longer. Plus the jealousy of my bro having one was killer. I was thinking twice about it because i really like the lotus but the hammer just seems like the underdog and i like that. I also wanted something that won't smell that i can travel with anywhere. I wanted something that wouldn't smell as in the unit stinking. Which the lotus and vapman look like would smell after awhile, kinda like my mflb and pnp mouthpiece or palm. And cleaning should be a breeze i cant wait!!! Oh @VAPEHUNTER mom says wassup and bring the weed she just got a pax lol she's excited.

HOLY S*%T!!! I just got The Hammer about an hour ago. I'm at work so I don't have a lot of time. I stepped out back for a quick test run and after one small bowl I'm like
. I got back to my desk and after a few minutes I'm like
. I just had to go eat my lunch to try to bring me back down a little. I LOVE THE HAMMER!!!

There's nothing wrong with paying full price on your Hammer, I believe I received 8 stems, and paid for overnight, was a good birthday present to myself.
