@Engineering any timeline update for the glass lined pong yet please? I would rather it be delayed and done right that's for sure :) Did you decide on the 0-ring yet?

It is now also my humble opinion that the damage I have seen recently was due to pong removal whilst unit was cold? I always remove it whilst its warming up or hot and haven't had any issues. All my plastic pongs/mp's click into place.

I have emailed @TherealVaporblunt to request no "vaporblunt" labled packages please, havent had my shipping number yet so hopefully I am in time :\ ahh to dream of the day when the world doesnt give a fuck what people want to vape/smoke....

Ok so both therealvaporblunt and engineering make comments on the forum and yet once again the issue of cracked units not being covered by warranty is not dealt with. The only comment came from engineering:

"Notice how the center of the crack in the above photo corresponds directly to the crack in the other pictured housing cracks. It has to do with the geometry of the PONG/Housing interface - nothing I can do about this until a complete redesign of the Pinnacle product line is complete."

Could one of you please make a statement on whether you are going to offer a warranty on this issue or not? Your company still has my unit and charger as I refuse to spend $105 on a repair for a unit that is only a month and a half old. At this point Vaporblunt has had my unit longer that I have.
I still get no response from multiple emails everyday. OI!

The slit is not supposed to be there :ugh:

Looking at my parts here, the crack is forming on the knit line in the plastic. For reference:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weld_line

It's an annoying issue, and I have alerted our mold shop to the problem, but it won't have any real impact on your pinnacle's performance.

So any resolution on this other than charging people for what shouldn't be happening?

Quick review on the Engineer PGONG, NOTE this is not the final version.
This has to be the best upgrade so far. I actually did a back to back session with 1 bullet. I never would use a bullet twice. First session up to level 2 and second round level 3. yes 3 i never could do that before. Taste was much better on 1 and 2. Not so nice on 3 but not that i couldn't stand it. Clouds on all levels. Unit got hot after 15 mins use but no expansion on the glass so i could still spin it around in housing.
@Engineering Try to make the tip of the glass(where the screen is) wider like the TRVB GONG and eliminate the plastic sleeve.

So this is the response I got from Vaporblunt today.
"We have responded to your e mails. You are not happy with our responce. I can return your unit to you or you can pay to have the unit repaired and returned to you. The choice is yours at this point. Please let me know how you would like to procede. Thank you."
So......once again Vaporblunt refuses to accept responsibility for a design flaw. I will be responding to this email later but I do not and will not stop until I am given a reasonable response.
I feel that the people who were charged the $80-$105 for a fix were scammed and should be given a refund or at least a replacement for free.
This will work if all the people who have this issue or have had this issue make complaints now while the iron is hot. I realize I am not the only person fighting for fair treatment. Come on people together we can make a stand.

I have emailed numerous times. I have not gotten any satisfactory responses. I would need to pay to get my unit fixed and the unit works fine with the flaw that's pretty much what was said. Info was suppose to be sent to Engineering but I didn't hear anything. I'm already out $50. + the cost of shipping. I refuse to pay for a fix for my other 2 Units.

It sounds like a fix for this issue is a far way off anyway.

Dont know how they can justify a $80 to $105 charge for the cracked nose piece repair. Its a small piece of molded plastic with 4 screws holding it in place, 5 minute job. @TherealVaporblunt why don't you just sell some of these pieces?

I'm waiting on engineering, this subject is out of my skill level. I don't have a comment or a resolution. I've spoke with engineering, they are aware of the issue.

I am a sales/invention guy, not an engineer. The fact someone is upset that I wrote "4-6 weeks" to answer someone else's question without addressing their question makes me wonder if there is any right answer to give. that one sentence took me 20 seconds to write, not exactly a deep thought on a serious subject.

I feel you. Participating on Internet discussions with customers is a real tough one for all businesses, you're damned if you do or don't. At least people aren't indifferent about VaporBlunt products :evil::evil:...that could be worse.

Agreed. To go on that, I'd say that the majority of PnP users aren't unhappy- just ignorant of the situation, confused, or otherwise- and that they're trying to find closure to said debacle; some way we can all just enjoy this great little device without too much fiddling..
Personally the PnP is my favorite portable- just needs a smattering of glass (or my ceramic mod.. seriously- thing's incredible)

But hey, my friend who also has a PnP is even happier with it than I am- I think some of the issues really do have to do with operator error (some of those pongs are filthy, y'all should be ashamed!) to be fair though, there's no detailed documentation regarding correct usage.

Hi Very high
@lookhigh bullet in a pong is that? Any more details on this mod dude? Just curious is all, I must of missed it in this thread somewhere. Out of them all which would you rate as the best?

Got home from work and lo and behold the Water Tool had arrived, yay! Opened package, broken. Not yay. The box looks like it got compressed somewhere along the way.

edit: let me sort out those huge pics.

that sucks. i have an f-bomb from planet vape and it is way stronger than the PnP WT.

The best is the engineer pong. definitively worth waiting till that's ready
The bullet upside down works well, the screen on the bullet is very fine mesh so gets blocked quickly. easy to clean. file down the inside of PONG until bullet fits snugly. there is a gap between the lip of the bullet and the melty part of the pong so it stays cool. I also put a o ring in there to keep it centered.

On full charge i can get to 5 no problem. same once its drops one batt level still goes up to 5 but once im on my middle charge(3rd light) i can't reach heat 4 or 5 sometimes even 3 idk if its just mine?? I don't remember having this issue before I've had mine since January and have not dropped it once. Anyone have a similar issue??

Its because i start at 1or 2 usually 2 and move up till i finish on 4 or 5. But once im at 3rd light it wont heat up passed 3 i even have times where i cant even hit 3.

haven't had that problem (fortunately). does it go passed 3 when its plugged in to the charger? i try to keep all my batteries at 75% and above. theres a thread that says that helps alot.

I don't like use it while charging so im not sure. i keep my batt almost full i never let it completely charge. just like my solo i stop at the last light before its completely done charging. So its weird i love my pnp to death its an amazing device but i want to be able to reach my desired temp. On the solo it can still reach 7 on low batt so why not the pnp or at least level 3 or 4 on the pnp at low batt is fine. I havent heard anyone mention this so i wanted to see if it was just mine. I mean even the pax at low batt can reach its last temp. If i only wanted two heat levels i would of got the og pinnacle. I really wanna know if its just mine or is this all pnp's which again i doubt because i don't remember this being a problem at first.

I actually know what @$unnyblaq is talking about- I've had the same kind of falloff in heat up time- only running on battery though... as I use mine plugged in 90% of the time.

Yea when i have full batt it can reach max temp fast no problems. Once im at half batt charge it can no longer go passed level 3. Im sure if i have it on the charger it should heat up no problem but why? I wanted a portable that i can hit at w.e temp i want till batt is dead. maybe the solo mflb pax and even no2 have me pampered but i like high temps and wanna be able to reach them no problems. Again not bashing i love this beauty just want to know if this is normal or a warranty issue? It sucks i haven't had it long and take great care of all my units so it pains me to have shell out more money on this already costly device. Especially seeing how trvb seems to be charging 80-100 for a crack in the sleeve?? So im just at that point where i dont wanna give up on this baby but if i can't get it to work right or get a reasonable solution then i throw in the towel.
