Thats what I keep thinking but when I got my couches 2 of my friends got into a fight and broke the wood inside so if you lift the cushions the fabric underneath is cut so I can peel the cover back from when I did the repairs.

I have stood the couch on either end and opened the bottom numerous times and now I will do it again lol.

I dont have a Dr Dabber to test, but if youre in a hurry and need one today/now i think any 3.7v battery with 510 threads will work. I have seen people write they like using variable voltage batteries with the Dabber carts and turning the voltage as low as it goes. The one i have goes down to 3.2v. Saw another guy link a variable voltage battery that went down to 3.0v.
Im not sure what voltage the Dr Dabber battery runs at under a load. Almost bought one just to test and quench my curiosity. If you have time to wait could always order a replacement battery from them.

I was contacted by Dr.Dabber today and given great news!
He liked my review so much that I will be receiving a replacement for my missing Ghost pen!!
I am blown away by this gesture of awesomeness by the Dr..

I would have replaced it when I got caught up around here but now I can get back to enjoying my Ghost pen a.s.a.p.! You guys will be hearing more from me about how this things works out for me in the longevity department and my experiences along the way. I am looking forward to reporting back with what I feel like I can assume will be great experiences in the future from life with my ghost pen.

Sorry to do this in thread but I am new here and honestly I can't figure out how to send Dr.Dabber a PM. I just ordered a full prescription kit with the FC code from the website. When I processed payment I got a strange merchant services error. Then I tried to reprocess and it said it was a duplicate order. I haven't gotten a email receipt and I just want to make sure my order was processed. Dr. Dabber can you please help me look in to this. I want to get my pen right away!

Ok. I finally got to try my Dr. Dabber with some strawberry cough shatter tonight. This is my first vap pen. I have smoked off a nail a few times but never smoked a concentrates pen before so I have no frame of reference for if was doing right other than I am well medicated right now.

First I tried the globe. I took a piece of shatter or two and set them on the coil. Tapped the button a few times to melt the wax. Everything worked exactly like people described here but... I wasn't happy with the hit. It had a somewhat off an taste. Not a big cloud. I don't think it's the vap. I must be doing something wrong. With the globe do you tap the button a few times and let the globe fill with smoke or do you start pulling on it and tap the buttons like the ghost?

Next I tried the ghost. Load it with what it thought was about the same amount. Started tapping the button and pulling on it. Nice big full hit, cloud, good taste flush face feeling. Did it again and got the same thing. Excellent. So was I doing it wrong with the globe? Maybe overheating it. I was trying to fill the globe with vapor a bit then pulling on it. Also do people just keeping hitting it until the. Apor stops to know when it is finished?

Overall I am very happy with this as I sit here and try to type this out on my iPad. Thanks to this forum for being such a damn cool place.

For these load-as-you-go-style vape pens, globes included, I hit the button for a second before I start to draw. Filling the globe with vapor is an easy way to burn the oil and give it a bad taste since you're not drawing any air that would otherwise cool the coil down throughout the hit. I can usually vape 90% of the oil out of the wick if I want to, but those last bits taste bad to me, so I'll usually hit it till it's about 3/4 of the way vaped and then add a little bit more to it.

Thanks Quetz. I have to say I really like this thing though. And I think you are right I was burning it. But if you don't do that with the globe and you are pulling the vapor of the coil directly anyway what is the point of hassling with the globe at all.

I am pretty majorly interested in this, a few questions:

1. Can I load straight QWISO/BHO into this? No e-juice?
2. Can this be attached to glass? (not essential, I have other vapes for this, but nice!)
3. Does the unit leak at all, how can this be avoided if so and if possible?
4. Are there parts that need regular replacement/maintenance - if so, what maintenance/replacement is needed and what do these cost?
5. Is the unit truly stealthy, do people tend to notice the smell of QWISO, or BHO for that matter?
6. What is this FC discount code I hear about???

Hi Herbivore I can help you a little bit:

1- only for oil, wax, shatter no e-liquid, no kief, no bubble hash
2- it fit all my WT in 14.4mm or with a reducer
3- it don't leak at all(The Dabbler has leaking)
4-the heater itself (they are cheap) and the battery when it will be dead (any e-cig battery works with the DrDabber
5- really stealth, quasi no smell
6- look at DrDabber signature there is a nice discount if it still working

I got the Dabbler and the DrDabber, I prefer the vapor thicker of the Dabbler but with a VV battery and the DrDabber you get big clouds, the Dr is cheaper, no leaking and work with any cheap e-cig battery!

So I can just dab my QWISO straight into this? 14mm is great, got a few reducers about already! This is exactly what I need! Is it a vaporizer or an electronic combuster?

What is the voltage of the standard battery and what makes a VV battery better?

Am I right that by winterizing my herb/ISO before making my QWISO oil, I can make it less smelly or is that just taste?

Yes you can dab your qwiso in, but since you need to apply your oil directly onto the coil it's a conduction vaporizer but it don't burn your oil except if you turn your VV battery too high (I use 4.2v, the OG battery is 3.7V but the heater longlife will be shorter...)
I prefer to use a VV battery cause I can get bigger clouds with higher voltage!

For the smell issue you have 2 solutions:

- winterization, when you got your oil diluted in alcohol you put at very cold t° some hours (freezer or better) and you put it through a unbkleached coffee filter to remove most part of the wax, your final product might smell less

- roasting your flowers seems to be the better way to remove all the odours but I never try it since I like the bho taste, look at the liquidizer thread and website for more informations

Make your choice but imo the first bho run smell a lot, for vaping in public I prefer to use my 2nd run oil (less odour and less effect) but you use qwiso which smell more than bho, isn't it?

I dont have access to bho/outdoor area to make my own so I'm stuck to my qwiso, i have combusted/vaped my qwiso in a pnp, lotus and e-nano with great results (using ss wool) so would i be right to assume if i dab on the ti coil that itll be sweet?

It'll leave a lot of residue on your nail and might combust the dab if the temp is too high and it ignites the plant matter/residue.

Hi! So I've had my DrDabber for two weeks now. I've been using it with no problems and loving it so far, until two days ago.

The light flashes every time I try to use it. I've charged and recharged it numerous times, and I don't think its flashing to tell me its out of battery. I can also get a steady light to show if I hold the button down with the battery component not attached to anything.

As soon as I attach a globe or ghost atomizer and try to use it, it flashes. At first I was able to get around this by unscrewing the globe/ghost about 1/4 of the way, and then it would show a solid blue, and begin to vape. Now I can't even do that, so I can't use my ghost pen at all!

Has anyone else had issues with it? Not sure what to do. I contacted the doctor on the 'Contact Us' page and i've tried to call but no luck.

Edit: I brought my Dr.Dabber battery back to the headshop I purchased it at to see if a new atomizer would fix it. We realized even with a new atty, the Dr Dabber wasn't working even though the light would light up. They swapped the battery (charged me for shipping since I had no receipt) and now I'm good to go! I had a concert tonight I was bringing it to, so had no time to send this back to the Dr for an official repair.

When attaching the globe or atty, please try and not over-tighten as it will push the battery pin/contact down and cause contact issues. You only need to make a decent contact and not a forced mash contact (this is a common issue with e-cigs and can also happen on the atty end contact pin).

I suspect this is the issue you were experiencing, although a simple battery failure could also have been the cause.
