The new glass blower has been a game changer. He has a tool to mold the id of the stems and gongs so they are extra thick and strong, but more importantly.....the id is consistent! All glass pieces will be using the new heavier glass. Pinches will be gone as the new basket screens negate the need for a pinch. I can majorly vouch for the strength of the new glass. My 18mm Adjust-a-bowl arrived flawed with a rounded crack at the bottom of the GonG connection. As I planned to use the hxtal I had sitting around to fix it as it was a minor issue, I ignored this to save Andy's valuable time for bigger things

Yesterday, I accidentally combusted some spent AVB (oops!). When I went to blow the smoke out of the GonG, which was still connected to a 18mm extender I use to space the vape from my glass a little and add some fluidization. The GonG flew out, fell 8 feet onto hard cement floor, and chipped. Only chipped. It fell from higher than my head height and only chipped, at the spot where the flaw was at the bottom of the GonG! I reckon a non-flawed 18mm gong could stand up to some serious punishment without showing a scratch if my already weakened one could!

Put some hxtal on the GonG last night, and it is looking fit to come up better than new, just gotta leave it another day to dry or so lol.

Also, I think I got the new cord/dimmer, the stress relief is different to the older ones, the cord is longer, the control is further down the cord. It is indeed more pliable of a cord too

Loving that you keep on adding new accessories Andy, this is brilliant!

EDIT: learned that I could speed up the drying of the Hxtal with heat so long as I didn't care about the look of the dried stuff so much - I don't. Ran the partially dried empty GonG on the Nano at setting 8 and vacuumed it with a micro attachment kit to speed up the drying. My GonG is fixed and vaping already!

Is there anything that can go wrong with an E-Nano that can't be fixed??? I don't think so!

I posted the picture of the internals, and am very familiar with them. The heater is a ceramic cartridge heater, white in outer colour.

It has a ceramic plug on the bottom of it that keeps the electronics completely out of the air path. There are small holes in the bottom of stainless steel cylinder with the screen on top that sits over the heater to pull in air when you inhale. Your air path is completely separated from the electronics

Like I've said previously in this thread, the Nano is the Zippo of vaporizers. It is simple, elegant, easy to use and easy to fix.

When I received mine....
I scratched my head (even though I was anxiously waiting).. and wondered
"what the heck could this be?"
I got home and was shocked that it was a Vaporizer.
Please remember... I have a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and have short term memory issues.
That does not make my exaggerated parable about the package less true.

What are you waiting for, . I tried the other night but got frustrated with trying to set the camera up and finally said fuck it.


Found something pretty cool this weekend though. My Thick wall stem and 18mm GonG fit into my Solo tighter than my Solo stems. Flavor is amazing because it puts the material farther from the heater, but you also have to turn the heater up further. Draw restriction was a PITA though, more so than with my PVHES, most likely do to a narrower bowl.

I received my adjustabowls, thicker and bigger than my previous GonG, I got 2 of them cause I woukd one for flowers and one for concentrates!

Do you notice the Nano produces a more green and black abv than others vaporizers, the weed on the side is not really vaped, did you stir your bowl? (I didn't do it cause the load is so small....!)

I get a better evenly colored abv with stems......I think cause I take my time to vape it, through water I'm just looking for 3 or 4 big draws.

My tasty spot is 6.5
My tasty cloudy spot is 7
My cloudier spot for flowers is between 7 and 7.5
My kief spot is between 7.5 and 8.5
my shatter spot is between 8.5 and 9.5
(just for info....)

Tweak I tried that with my 14mm gong but it was too loose. I didn't know the top of the gong between the two sizes was different ? I do have a 18mm as well but it was too loose in the solo. Are you getting any clouds or just great flavor ?

It has to be the new thick wall piece. None of my older thin wall stems or GonGs fit the Solo.

Most cotton has been chemically cleaned, as well as being highly GMO produced. You might try organic cotton, or hemp.

Guys, If I was using the MF Finishing grinder, would it be better to have an all glass, or a standard glass stem?

I would say go with the all glass and put a ss screen(flat not a basket screen ) on top of the glass screen as I believe the finishing grinder has a fine grind.

Please go with a standard glass stem. Your herb would fall through the holes of the honeycomb screen with a fine grind. Also, if you put a basket screen in the all glass stem the draw is more restricted and gets clogged quicker.

I used much less this time so restriction was better, and moved the load closer and temp down to 5. Worked great!!!!
