Quick update from Nanotown.
I had a small skateboard accident last week and couldn't hold onto any tools, so some people experienced a shipping delay. Will be back up to speed and caught up next week.
The new glass blower has been a game changer. He has a tool to mold the id of the stems and gongs so they are extra thick and strong, but more importantly.....the id is consistent! All glass pieces will be using the new heavier glass. Pinches will be gone as the new basket screens negate the need for a pinch. All stems will be 6" in length instead of the old 5.25" this extra length and thicker glass give a cooler vaping experience. "shortie" tubes will be available soon for people prefer them.(Vito?)
New cords and dimmers are here. The cord is longer, 3 meters, the dimmer is now 30" from the E-Nano, and the cord is more pliable. There is also a new stress relief. The ink used to print on the dial is using a new formula for more durability.
@ACE OF VAPE we ever determine if the 18mm adjustabowl gongs are available?
Yes they are.
The new website should be live this week.
I have a new "Nanette" helping part time to keep me in line and on time. In the near future she'll introduce herself on the forum here as well.

Hell yes! I was waiting for that news before I sent in my old skool nano for dimmer/cord repair and a tune up. Given your injury when do you think would be a good time to send it to you?

Also I cant wait to try these new thick glass gongs and stems!

Feel better soon bro.

Almost word for word the post I was typing..^^ Please let us know when the best time to send in enanos is! I sure could use a tuneup with all the features you have mentioned. Now I'm thinking about how ill hold up without it :(
Also think it's cool you skate Andy! One of my favorite sports

If someone has a moment could they please show me what the heat port (hole where the tube goes in) looks like?
Thanks in advance. This seems like a very interesting unit. :)

Much love to all you e-nano-ers!!! Was out of town for a few weeks and have finally caught up on all of the wonderful goings on here in the thread while I was away from computer. You guys rock!!! Some more than others (and you know who you are), but so much love and good info here. Truly enjoyed the new vids and that awesome poem!

Unfortunately, I came home to a flaky nano! Seems like a short in wire or dimmer. Plug in, turn on and no light or anything. If I wiggle the wire around I can kind of get it to come on. One sesh like that , and it was harrowing trying to keep it going. So.... just sent email to Andy to send her in for updates and repair.

Should mention I have a pretty early unit. Have had it about a year. Original dimmer, grooves, shiny metal base. So, don't think most need to worry about similar happening to theirs. Have actually been putting off sending her in for a few updates for a couple months. Hate the thought of being without her!! But, guess it's time. Feel like I'm suffering with the EQ as backup, but all good. It works fine. It's just no nano!!

EDIT: Andy replied to my email in about 15 minutes - on a Saturday no less!! Killer vape & excellent customer service. If you don't have one of these yet, GET ONE!!!

The "heat port" isnt a hole, like on an Arizer Solo. Its a bit more... "male". ;)

Many pics of heat port here in the thread. Here's a good one e-nano top pic. Glass stem slides on over it.

Wow, not at all what I was expecting, but then again I only have experience with the "first generation" log vapes.
Obviously I wouldnt ask you to peel the screen off of the heat port in yours, but do you know if there have been any pictures showing the heat port without the screen? Is it just an open flow underneath? I'm mostly interested in seeing the air flow properties.

Seem to remember a few pics of it unassembled a few pages back, but not sure if one like that. It seems like it is just a stainless steel tube with ceramic heater inside and screen on top. Looking through screen with flashlight, I see what looks like may be top of heater element not too far down.

Where did FC search function go to????

The only one I know of is on page 163 (post#4072);)
There is no big space around the heating element , but just enough to saturate the air with heat and a good air flow, not much restriction IMO!

This is very close to what I wanted to see, sadly its a side view and not directly overtop so you can't see down into the heat port.

If this is accurate information it is pretty much all I wanted to know. Sounds like the heatflow is laminar. Thank you for your help. :)
