Every time I get an email back from them they quote my credit card details! Not only have I had to email my credit card details they've replied 3 times including my credit card details.

Is this just me or did anyone else have this experience not very happy about this.

I didn't even notice that at first, but you are right.

VB, could you PLEASE delete our CC infos from your blastin' GMAIL account after you charged us? Holy... I am running out of palms to put my face in over here...

Go easy on em vaporblunt!:horse:

Im still rather curious about trying the PNP with a glass mouthpiece...cant seem to shake it out of my mind so I might be back on the pinnacle wagon soon if this Gpong works out.

@TherealVaporblunt Are you going to warranty units that are defective and crack at the mouthpiece on the actual unit due to bad Pong/Gong. It is well documented in this forum that this is directly related to the design flaw of the mouthpiece. Your engineer reported that my unit was either dropped or was broke due to a sticky mouthpiece. It was explained to me that you do not warranty the cracks as you don't acknowledge that they are manufacture flaws.
This does not make sense to me. If one of the possible causes is a sticky Pong/Gong then how is this not related to the giant Pong/Gong issue? Please explain what your take on this is.

I got tired of sitting around seeing all these fancy doohickeys, so I fitted my PC PonG with a Ceramic tube I cannibalized from an old heat gun-
IMG_20140320_2000089941.jpg

added a little screen; and voila!

 That is some seriously ingenius work there!

Now, apart from destroying a heat gun, where can I get one of those ceramic tubes?

ebay isn't giving me anything remotely similar.

I realised that the reply email telling me they'd got my details still had my details in it because whoever had dealt with it had just replied to the email and didn't think to remove them before replying.

I simply removed them before I replied back and problem solved.

Anyway I got my tracking number this morning so I'm a happy bunny.

Thank you VaporBlunt for some great service and a fabulous product!

I have no idea :D
But you could check with friends, see if they've got any broken appliances or something, maybe even craigslist an old plastic heat gun haha, worst case you've got a DIY vape waiting to come together from the remnants- best case you've got a beast PnP mouthpiece

also- I made a log style mouthpiece last night, if anyone's interested I can throw up a pic of it

Sorry if this counts as a double, couldn't edit the last post for some reason
But here are a couple pics of my PnP log stem-

I just use it like the SSV/DBV with standard glass set; suck it up, PNP on 4, and just suck heat from the heatport with no bullet in it- I got a fantastic surprise the first time I tried it, worked far better than I'd imagined it would

I think I am starting to see a similar crack in mine. Is yours a crack in the plastic circle around the top of the unit? If we are talking about the same thing I have similar questions.

This is a nightmare.

Maybe you could explain to me what your CS means by "glass mouthpiece" and "glass PonG" that are beeing shipped to me. I got no answer to this question after several mails and at some point I just gave up.

Dude, I really love your positive attitude, but calling a piece of glass that somebody stuck in a modified old PonG and packaged in a VB carton an innocent mistake...that just doesn't compute.
No offense, I still like the BarnBoy very much and I hope he likes me as well. ;)
Seriously man, there's no money on earth worth reading your posts, I'd be happy to refund you out of my pocket to never have to talk to you again. That's my official CS stance, feel free to contact me for a refund.

If you need my order info or anything just let me know.

Ok, what you have is engineering a first attempt at a solution. We ultimately decided to not use that version because it's likely the glass will crack the plastic. It's safe to use, but when engineering a official solution comes out u will want to change it probably. There were 10 of these sent out to people requesting engineering a fix, it's was a miscommunication.

This is an unacceptable response to a customer. Yes he is frustrated because your company sold him a device that off-gassed plastic into his lungs. Come ON...

According to them there is no off-gassing because the PonGs are 100% safe to use. They told me that if anything was melted to my vaporizer it was resin, not plastic, so I shouldn't be concerned about any off-gassing caused by plastic, because it was only resin. Lol

Ok cool, thanks for the response and clarification. Kinda had me worried for a minute haha. I'll definitely send it back whenever the finished piece is ready, thanks again!

They are resinous plastics, look up temp ranges for Polyethersulfone. The resins from the herb could conduct heat to the plastics, as could the stainless steel screen

Got my PNP almost 2 weeks ago. This is my 2nd vape toy, the 1st ever vape was MFLB. Boy this thing looks great, black, stealthy, lightweight. So I ground up some Purple Cream real fine, lightly packed in about .2g. Put on the mouthpiece and messed around with the heat settings for a while. Before I got the PNP, I was quite a heavy pot combuster, so the low settings on the PNP were not for me, but they sure produced good flavor. Setting 4 was the one, the problem with that though was the plastic mouthpiece would get to hot for my lips to even do a 3 secs drag. So I put on the pong, did a 10 secs drag and blew out some clouds! After 2 bullets I was nice and lid, the effect was a nice med head high, and good amount body high relaxation since Purple Cream is a pretty solid Indica that produces lots of body high. I gotta tell ya this is the vape for me, and I'm not going back to combusting. Been using it daily with the pong on setting 4, after almost 2 weeks, this is what I eneded up with. .
The engineered gong is not available yet, and the fact that I have to send in the damaged pong to get the gong replacement TRVB came up with for now, there was only 2 options left, the MFLB or combustion. Again I was a heavy combuster so MFLB doesn't rip me that good, and I don't want my lungs to process more carbon monoxide. So with the plastic mouthpiece set still lying around I figured I can try to use it. Here's what I did

I took out that little screen inside the mouthpiece, turned it into a rounder shape and put it back in. As you can see above the screen is sticking out of the tube. The purpose of this is for the plastic tube to not come in contact with the hot bullet which melts down the tubing. Here's another thing

As I mentioned earlier the plastic mouthpiece was too hot for my lips, that's why I have the mouthpiece tip not pushed down all the way. When you vape this thing on 4, lots of hot air goes through mouthpiece and the tip is made out of thin plastic gets hot real fast after 3 drags if pushed down all the way. So that way the tip stays nice and cool as I do 10 secs drag puffs after puffs. Surprisingly with the filter screen pushed out a little bit, I'm actually getting easier draws and cooler vapes. My guess is with the pushed out screen, I'm not sucking directly straight out of the bullet, but with some cool air from the gap between the mouthpiece and the PNP body, which you can obviously see.

After the little tricks I did, this thing has been on some heavy heavy vape sessions at high temp for 2 days, nothing has cracked, melted, burned. Performance on this thing is excellent, with easier air draws I've been getting HUGE 10 secs rip outta this thing, and good damm it was closest thing to combusting outta the bongs. The effects were a full heavy body stone, lots of head high, my head was almost too heavy for my neck to hold still, my face started to numb and it spread out through the whole body. Whoever says you can't get the high from smoking when you vape, then do yourself a favor get a PNP and some good indica strain then turned it to 4. If you have not been a heavy smoker then don't attempt to do 10 secs drag on set 4 without water tube because you will regret it after choking your lungs out, but for me I love it! And this is what I ended up with after a session.

The color of the vaped herbs were a bit light due to the yellow lightning in my bedroom. Well this is the solution for me right now guys, until the engineered gong comes out this will keep me lid and happy. BTW I use the MFLB finishing grinder for the herbs I use with the PNP. Oh and if your filter screen ever gets all clogged up, easy solution! You can use a gas stove top if you have one, or a simple lighter will do the job. Just heat the screen directly over flame, screen is gonna get hot and turns red and acts like a coil, that's what you want. There will be a little bit of smoke and flame at first but don't freak out, it won't set off the alarm. Let the screen stay red for about 40 secs or until clear of resi. Do it with caution though, don't burn yourself and don't do it over carpet! After screen cools down, blow on it a couple of times and waaahhla, brand new screen once again!

I spoke to engineering today, he is 4 weeks out on his pong with glass insert. It's a really solid fix that eliminates in issues we have seen. I would suggest those of you that can wait for this part to wait, you will find your pinnacle fully functional and stealth that was intended in the original design.

I hope everyone finds a solution that makes them happy. Pinnacle pro is a great tool, capable of many different features.

So if we already traded ours in will we have to buy the engineering version? It seems like the better solution so if it comes to that I will but damn :p

How much will it cost to get the Engineering PGonG when it's ready as I've already taken advantage of your offer to send out a full glass piece already?

So just how stealth is the PNP? Today on my 1.5 hour +/- 1 hour commute home, vaping while driving on back-2-back sessions the entire way, I hear a couple of stock Harley Davidson’s coming up on my left. With the PNP in my right hand, Epic GonG and all, I turn to look and nearly :shit: my pants. Was two motorcycle CHP officers! And because I turned to look, the one nearest to me turned for a quick look back. I do not know how he didn’t see I had the PNP in my mouth, nor the huge cloud that I belched out 5 seconds later. Maybe he assumed it was some e-cig as I didn’t jerk away react as if I was doing something wrong. Am I doing something wrong? :hmm:

Seriously, has anyone tried the E-juice from VB to mask the smell of herbs or just E-juice in their PNP???

Also what would folks suggest for me to give the TRVB GonG a larger hole? Diamond drill bit? I think this will be the next major DIY topic here…

@lookhigh – That actually was not much of a detour. Almost ALL international package mail will hit NYC, go across the Hudson river to NJ and then out toward final destination. The California holiday your package had, mimicked my package that was sourced from the same state.

@Grim Chiclets – How does the herb stay in the metal looking bowl? Suction?? Does any stuff fall in the PNP? Interesting and THANK YOU for the photos!!!! Learned something new…

@Herr_Dampf – Ja der Stalljunge mag Mr. Steam!

Indeed, suction is the main reason the herb stays in the bowl. However, I find that it tends to stay in once i just tap it down a tad with my finger. I just hoover it up (the Hoover method lol), tap it, hit it, dump it; and if it's got any color left, i dump it in the duff jar or hit it again haha.
Oh- I do hit it on 5 with that stem, so it's like 3 or 4 hits from a green bowl (I've only tried it green once)

If you like the bullet system, my ceramic refit is amazing for flavor, and the bullets seems to last longer for some reason too- I think it's just a better seal

@BarnBoy No you are not doing anything wrong, not in my eyes anyway.

Yes diamond tipped bit for glass. Take your time with boronscillate glass. Check out some Utube vids on glass cutting. Diamond bits can be got cheap on Ebay (only good for light use)

When i get something shipped from US it goes straight from the locale sorting to airport to Dublin, but when i ship to the US it goes trough NY because that's the entry for customs i think.

Just as a tip to anyone looking at/attempting my log style stem, I took that little bowl piece off the end and put the screen in the part behind it, as the bit it was on was just a mite bit slimmer, so i figured it'd fit better in the heat port, which it does :D
I've taken a couple pics, last one also shows a BNC video connector- the same type as the one I cut down into the bowl/stem piece
