Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Can any of the US/Can IGG EVO owners chime in as to whether they got a hydra foot with their hydratube In the order?

I thought that all the IGG orders that came with a hydratube also included a hydra foot?

I just saw it announced in the EVO anticipation thread that the bonus gift us intl IGG contributors get for waiting so long is a hydrafoot, so I'm a little puzzled because I thought the IGG package already came with one...

TIA :)

(Note, I'm just referring to the stock hydrafoot, not the new hydrafoot 2.0s.)
Just so you know, I did not get a hydrofoot with my IGG package. I did, however, order one separately later.

The hydrofoot I got, wouldn't be wise to use with the HT I got with my IGG package. I do use it for the straight mouthpiece I got.

$35 bubbler from China!
Works very well and is smooth and has very little drag and diffusion.
Keeps the flavor well and is very easy to milk and get huge clouds.

Glass is about 5mm thick and the joint is not supported but if you are careful it will be fine.
So far all my vapes have been through this piece of glass and it can support them all.

A great back up to have just in case!

thanks
Honestly, if you find yourself prone to breaking rather expensive glass, you may want to check out the cheap bubbler thread. A decent piece of Chinese glass can be had for less than 50 dollars, and it certainly softens the blow should you break it :2c:
thanks for the hot tip- on order. I still have to replace my Swagger Circ though, just such a wonderful piece of art. Boy, almost $300 with postage. Sitting here back with my Plenty vape. Man tastes terrible! I'm spoiled!!!!!!

That's weird, I am pretty sure we were all supposed to get the hydrafoot if we got a HT.
Maybe the straight mouthpiece came with your IGG order instead?
Because I believe that dry mouthpiece and the HTs were mutually exclusive.

I agree that it's a bit undersize,
(I would imagine) especially for the fanatic tubes.

I use a deadfoot (scarlet begonia) stand :tup: for my earlybird swaggertube,
And the provided hydrafoot for my older evolver hydracirc.

I received a very small HydraFoot with my Fanatic tube, luckily I had an older, wider, one. Honestly, I can't remember if it applied to just to Fanatics or Early Birds as well . . . It wasn't in any of the perc descriptions iirc . . .

Something weird seems to be going on with VapeXhale's support.

I had some issues (detailed above) so I opened a ticket on Sunday. Late Monday (too late to do anything about sending it in) I finally hear back from them telling me to send my unit in for repair. BUT I need to give them my serial number before they'll give me an address where to send it. Now you have to enter your serial number on the Support ticket (which I did) and I've been a customer from the beginning with multiple purchases from them over the years now. That info should be available to them without holding the repair address hostage.

In any case, I responded last night with the serial number. By mid day I hadn't heard anything. So I resent the email. An hour later I sent a separate email-not through their webpage-inquiring what was going on.
Now its the end of the day, I still haven't heard back anything from them, their Chat has been offline all day, and its now 48 hours since I first contacted them and my sick EVO has been boxed up and ready to go since yesterday.
I do have Monkey's phone number, but I am very reluctant to use that for what should be a routine matter, which for some reason, isn't.

Ok so I went out and bought an ash catcher so I can make dragon clouds!!! I better win I put on pants for this!!(well kinda of pajama pants lol). The best I could do(I even forgot I was making a video and starting to hold it all in lol)! Well idk I might have been able to take a bigger hit but I might have chocked my brains out on camera lol.

They are experiencing problems, but they are responding as fast as they can. Support contacted me and stated as much.

Thanks for the info.
I think I have the address, but would like confirmation before sending my precious off into the void.

I have an address in Clarks Summit (Fairview Road). Maybe some kind FCer who has recently sent their EVO back for work could PM (Start a Conversation, I guess)me? I can give you the address I have and you can maybe confirm or correct me? That way I can get it on its way while they sort out their glitches...

edit: Thanks to all who responded so quickly. Confirmed what I had...just making sure. Will send it off tomorrow. :(

Circ or hydraline??? Replacing broken circ- fell over even on hydra foot - so small. Should I buy another circ which I loved, or get hydraline which looks cool- reviews on how it works in comparison???

I posted my set up a while back. The HT on top of a dewar joint Bingo dual showercap bubbler (cheaper version of Hydrafoot 2.0 if you will) . . .

Link please, couldn't find that post (Search is down). Like to see that HF2 alternative. I've been skitterish balancing my IGG Fanatic Turbine on the EVO joint, something like the HF2 might give me your courage.

I have one of the earlier circs, although offhand I can't remember if it's an Evolver or one of those made in-house for a short time - I think it's the Evolver due to its larger circ, more like the Swagger. But it's a straight-neck. So overall I'd say the Swagger version is a nicer piece with about the same mini-chug action.

That said, I love the hydraline which IMHO is a much nicer piece. The action is extremely smooth and the diffusion perfect, the draw is effortless, ,the splash guard works very well, and ice pinches. I was initially concerned about the return line breaking, but it looks every bit as strong as the cycler or sidecars. The horizontal perc is very well attached, IMO stronger than the circs or trees. YMMV and everyone's does, but for me it would be an easy choice.

.

I have so many wristbands on the Evo it adds significant weight to the unit, and it's not really designed for the way I'm using it, but so far so good, the balance if fine even w/ the extra weight. It reminds me of the IGG smallish hydrafeet, it's balanced, but don't go moving around a lot.

This is b4 I got the wristbands, I now use 5 and it easily doubles the weight of the EVO. Hydrafoot 1.1 next to the bubbler base for size comparision (bubbler base is larger diameter)

Compared to a Arizer SOLO I was using w/ U joint and the bubbler... that got bumped and instantly knocked over and broke the U joint.

Oh happy, happy, happy days. Fedex showed up with my repaired EVO and HD. Back in space now. Awesome customer service, less than 2 weeks turn around including shipping across the country each way... Very happy :)

Glad you got your EVO back.

Can't agree about customer service at this point. Opened a ticket and have attempted three email contacts with support and even resorted to trying to contact SM via Conversation. The only response I've gotten was late Mondy night when somebody there asked for my Serial Number (again, was posted with Ticket and I've been a customer since the beginning) before they would give me an address to send it to. I'm pretty sure I got the address correctly from other FCers, but wanted to make sure about what the problem was and that they were ready for me to send it in.

Now its Thursday. My EVO has been boxed up and ready to go for four days and I can't get a response from VapeXhale on any channel...even their Chat hasn't been working. I do have SM's phone number but am reluctant to bother him with what should be a routine matter for Support. I did open a "Conversation" with him Wed morning, but he hasn't been able to respond yet.

I'm not dead in the water totally because I still have a working OG Cloud, but am very puzzled by their lack of response.

Fill us in when it gets resolved.

Today I get an email from support with the, by now, standard apology for not getting back to me sooner and the return address was finally released to me (what I thought it was and what FCers had confirmed to me).

Plus SM replied to me that they were pushing to get the International orders out so everybody was involved in that effort. But hope to be more stabilized soon.

While I applaud the "all hands on deck" attitude displayed by their team it will be nice if they can ever settle down and not have so many peaks and valleys. I'm sure they'd like that. "Man all stations" is also an appropriate imperative.

Anyhow, EVO will be on its way, finally, today. Hopefully by the time it gets there they'll have people available to do the repair.

Thanks. Fortunately I still have my trusty old OG Cloud to hold me up. Actually finding it to be better than the EVO, but that may just be the change and the fact that the EVO was acting up.
