Is there a difference in using the EVO with a hyrda-tube vs using the unit completley upsidedown on say a mobius bubbler? or is it the same thing, more so just easy of use with a hyrdatube for multiple people? Considering buying an EVO.

This community is the closest thing to an online social network that I actively engage in so I won't be submitting an official entry. Between not being good at shooting videos, having a dirty room, and other factors, the video is just the exhale of vapor. This is also why I shot it vertically (prepping for backlash on that decision...) I assure you that it is vapor produced by my trusty EVO and my EB HT w/ ice pinches. Nice and smooth with no coughing. This is me vaping some thyme... Enjoy...

I also won't be making a video. I don't have a piece that I can really take that huge of a hit in anyways, I don't use Instagram, my twitter only has like 30 followers lol and I live in a non med state so I won't be posting anything to Facebook. You guys are also like my only friends. I don't really drink anymore and if you live in Wisconsin you have no choice but to drink if you want to be social, so I just chill by myself.

Here's the new Everest Glassworks recycler Mrs PoopMachine surprised me with yesterday. No idea where she found it. You go in a local shop and ask about a recycler and they'll think youre from Greanpeace.

Finally combusted with the EVO over the weekend. I believe it was a combination of over filling an ELB and the EVO sitting at close to max temp for 2 hours. Hopefully a simple green soak can restore my ELB to its former glory.

Weirdness going on:
Twice over the weekend my EVO went cold (from operating temp) even though the green light was on.
Also temp setting seems off. Have to turn it up from usual position to achieve regular results. Wound up with it just over the 3 o'clock position and got combustion twice.
And then discovered that plug socket on EVO is loose.
Submitted ticket, but haven't heard back yet.

Interesting. I've had some of the same symptoms over the last couple of days. On Friday I had the same issue with the green light but it hasn't happened since.
I also combusted twice recently (like you the evo was at around 3 for a couple of hours). In one case, the elb may have been overfull and in the other I put in an unground nug that fit a little too tightly so wasn't agitated by the moving air and I figured was probably being held stationary a bit too close to the heater. Now I'm a bit more concerned.
Unlike you I haven't noticed any difference in the temperature at various places on the dial - I'm still getting the expected extraction at each temp setting. I do feel like I need to be more careful than I used to be about squeezing every last bit of vapor our of some spent ABV at high temps (3 and above)

Ice. Almost forgot the Ice. I have a straight tube grid to turbine IGG Swagger with Ice Pinches.
Until this weekend the ice pinches were a decoration. I had considered swapping out to sidecar or phallic mouthpiece style tube.
Then I started using the ice machine on my new fridge. I can do 3 ice 'cubes' (curvy pie bottom style) + smaller ice in the tube. It truly is glorious. Honking on turbo mode to clear all remaining concentrate is silky smooth and cool. Induced coughing is down 90%. DROOL IS DONE! That's right, for some reason w/ the ice in the HT, drool has become a non issue for me.

- Ice doesn't melt that much.
- 3 cubes last a full 10-15 minute session of my epic honk and pause technique. (take a huge hit, hold it, pause, recoup, space out and forget where I am, remember there is an Evo waiting to be honked, rinse-repeat)
- On turbo mode, HOLY BEASTNESS I can take bigger, longer draws and my throat feels like angels are sprinkling heavenly springs
- Of course flavor is somewhat impacted. Hot soup "tastes" different than a soup ice pop. Heat = molecules jumping around and the concept of "more flavor".
- but the impact is very minor
- So cool! I've done ice in combustion bongs back in the day, this is nothing like that. This is everything you love about the Evo vapor + cooling
- Drip is a non-issue, as I use the bubbler, even if I overfilled the HT and used too much ice and let it melt, there would be little risk to the Evo unit.
- I have not used HT on top of Evo w/ Ice in it. Only the bubbler.
- It's so smooth and so perfect that I've unfortunately shelved my compulsive need to buy epic glass. ICE PINCHES FTW, I have a hard time now going back to no ice.
