Dude I know! My rebuilds with my bubbler are ridiculous! Havent touched my NEW nail since rebuilding them lol.

Im using kanthal and fc2000 right now....though my friend got me some ti wire and it's coming!

Edit....for filming....GoPros are awesome....or picture/book/frame holders are great with a phone.

EDIT....heres a quick video of the rebuilt kiss and my liquid science bubbler...sorry for vertical phone video....didnt want to pull out a real camera....and I didnt have an actual stand handy...so it is what it is...

Okeanos rebuild is just a center post swap out with a working kiss....rebuilt or not.

Hello everyone, long time troller, & long time up tech user. Got too much to list right now, medicated. Quick question- got a newer Persei purple from Vapor Warehouse few weeks back & just had a herc 71 sesh, followed by a cool down, threw on a 5 ohm cart took one rip & burnt my finger a little as smoke quickly came out button, nasty smell, quickly unscrewed head as was hot and not shutting off after button release. Wicked hot, burn hole on underside of top. My question is who does my warranty? V.W. or W9? Not sure what happened here, I'm not a noob & have lots of experience with W9 products, that's all I own. & I have yet to experience anything like this. Any ideas guys and gals? Out in Cali? Any help will be appreciated.

W9tech site....top right...submit a ticket. VW is an authorized retailer. Just make sure you have your receipt! If youre close I think they have a shop in Van Nuys...

hmm my okeanos has been getting more and more problematic. maybe it's just the stuff i'm using, but it's kinda bubbling up into the tube and getting a lot stuck up in there, i end up needing to scrape it out and get almost all that i loaded up out of it :(

i am working with getting it loaded up with smaller dabs but idk :/ any tips?

Thanks and good call i didn't know about this thread. Those black rings in place of the stock ones as well as inside the "okeanos" labeled metal tube is all you need to do? I need to get a big bag of o-rings if so because I know i'll lose a bunch in assembly...

My kiss cart keeps getting stuck to that piece and I need to pry it out and screw it back on the base.

Ok I swear after this post im sleeping. ...well after my underdog clouds me out (how underdog got me set up is a story for another day....but damn did he kit me out!)....then sleep.

Ok here we go....

@exit the oring will fix the issues, and allow loading more. Set it up like mine....and you won't ever mess with an oring again. It will clog every few grams....nature of the beast with small baffles....suck slow...use orings...no worries. I regularly get a few gs through mine before its clogged up. Nibbler XL o-rings work also...but look nowhere near as aestetically appealing.

@THE KISS FREAK First sorry that happened...sucks. We have all been there in some form though. As for your issue I have heard of it, but not experienced it. Sounds like a faulty wire/solder to me. File ticket, send in, get a replacement. Its pretty much standard operating procedure with the tops. Occasionally they fail, its pretty rare, but it does happen. More often than not from user error. In your case I would guess a bad top. In any case...file a ticket and they will handle it. They always do!

What specific gauge did you get for the Kanthal? I'm looking at the A-1 wire since its the most popular?
Any chance of any link for some ti wiring? :p

Rebuilding my 2 dead 3.7 ti carts into that 7.4 beast is mouth watering..must have...
