no shipping mail for me, hopefully for others on this friday :uhoh: ?!?

just got another IGG mail tough, mostly adressed to the Internationals that are missing it seems:

if only anticipation wasn't so bad :horse:
stalking that mailbox for a shipping notice while trying to distract myself from that waiting

I confirmed with fulfillment that these will be emailed today by 5pm Pacific. Still 7 more hours so I would just enjoy the evening and check your email first thing Sat morning.

I was just told that as I am a preorder and not an igg contributor my order won't ship until later next week...

I hope the rest of you get some good news tonight.

Nope me neither, paid postage and confirmed address and I've even been in touch with support over the past few days to check the inclusion of my travel buddy case (thankfully as I think Vapexhale had forgotten I'd ordered and paid for one). Email from support on the 13th stating my order was 'set to be shipped' and since then silence...

Now it's the weekend so we're unlikely to get any updates/tracking until Monday. Can't really put into words how frustrating this is!

Seems like Frederick Maguire is the only one who got a shipping email one page back...

There is only a handful of unfulfilled ETAs a person can handle before his spirit breaks.
If you can't keep up with an ETA, don't provide one.
VapeXhale - You really blew it. I'm sorry, I tried staying positive as much as I could and only lord knows how I've been the #1 advocate of VXL in my surrounding, but frustration now has officially taken over. To be honest, even if you post another ETA - I would not believe it.

As far as I'm concerned you failed to comply with the IGG program as it didn't mention that 110v devices would not be shipped internationally. If you can't send the 220v unit, SHIP THE 110V UNIT and get this over with PLEASE.

Once again I apologize for the negativity, I will go smoke one to try to relax.

I'm not really understanding the frustrations here...

They are shipping them out now, which for me, means they will all be shipped by like the end of the upcoming week.

Maybe you guys are just more anxious than me since I've been quite satisfied playing with my cloud for the last couple of months.

I fully agree that the campaign hasn't been handled ideally up to this point, but I'm basically considering all this waiting a "sunk cost" for myself in that yeah, it was a long ass wait, and I probably would've just waited for the actual intl release f I knew it was gonna be this long, but at this point, I've already waited something like 8 months, what's a few more days?

I dunno if I got lucky getting my email saying mine has shipped, but I haven't received a tracking number. That kinda makes the wait easier for me though  I can just wait for it to show up and surprise me :)

I did have to email them to confirm my address, as on my email that asked me to pay shipping it said my address was
[correct street number] "address required"
[correct state & country]
Since obviously my street name isn't address required , I just paid the shipping (already had the funds in my Paypal account from selling some glass a few weeks ago, so no cash outta my bank :D) and shot them an email confirming my actual address and that I'd paid shipping.

I think a lot of us are kinda overestimating the size of the business that vapexhale is at at the moment.
Not intentionally or anything, it's just that they're putting out such a high quality product, that at least subconsciously, we're associating them with other, much larger businesses that put out products of comparable quality.

They're still only a team of like 5 or 6 people (I think?), which is really quite small.
Hopefully this whole IGG campaign has been a learning experience for vapexhale (hint: c'mon guys, either make it dual voltage from the start, or develop them concurrently so that there is a simultaneous worldwide release. It kinda inspires some bad will in customers when US buyers who weren't part of the IGG campaign at all could purchase units before we got ours...
I get that it didn't make sense to force those guys to wait just so we can get ours first, as all it would be doing is restraining cash flow for the business, but form a consumer point of view, that only explains the situation, it doesn't excuse it...)

Ok, shit as I was typing this I've just remembered the march 12th date that was thrown out...
I'm typing this wall-o-text on my phone, so I can't go back and load the page it was on, but was that date when they expected to ship by, or confirm all our details or something?

*tone disclaimer*
Not having a dig at anyone who's upset, just discussing the situation from my POV.

Edit:
One thing that has rubbed me up the wrong way a bit, is that they've just launched the "dragon cloud" contest, and its set to end within a few days of when most of us intl guys will actually receive our EVO...
It kinda felt like they were saying "here guys, you'll have your EVOs in a week or 2, and here's an awesome contest, which ends in 2 weeks"
It just seems like vxl don't view themselves as an international company. It seems to me like they view themselves as a US company, that happens to have some customers overseas

I think I've officially run out of patience too. Have been behind Vapexhale and the Evo since day one but this constant mismanaging of our expectations is unacceptable. There's only so many times you can use the 'we're a small company working hard' line- if you are going to give people an eta then you need to stick to it. And if you can't for whatever reason then you need to keep people informed as to why. You've got the international customers email addresses!? Then when you realise you are going to miss the shipping date on the 14th (and the 12th and however many dates before this) send us all a mail explaining why. Don't just disappear for the weekend leaving us in silence for the next few days... As far as I can see everyone on this thread is extremely supportive, it's the constant delays combined with lack of explanation that are getting us down.

A couple of other points:
If you want to keep your international customers quiescent don't send us marketing emails with ways of using our Evo to win stuff. We haven't got it yet!!
If there are huge delays on the 220V device how about offering international customers the choice of a 110V Evo? I asked this question weeks ago on this forum to no answer.

To reiterate, I and the whole of the international customer base (as witnessed on this forum) have been exceptionally supportive and patient and continue to be so. However after endless delays and with not only US IGG contributors but any American who fancies an Evo having been able to get one for weeks/months it can't help appearing that we are bottom of Vapexhales to do list. I'm sure this isn't true but the evidence only points one way and I'm not sure there is much Vapexhale can do to to persuade us otherwise...

Hey guys, I woke up this morning thinking that I was going to see a lot of happy messages and when I logged in, I was quite shocked that emails/tracking IDs were not sent out. I was livid and I immediately called all of our workers to see what was going on and why this wasn't already taken cared of. In my quest to find who the culprit was, unfortunately, I was looking at him in the mirror.

Yesterday, in the early morning, I was informed that we broke 14 Early Bird HydraTubes. I immediately sent out an email to the Early Birds letting them know what happened and offered to upgrade them to a SwagCycler or SwaggerPuck to the first 14 people interested in swapping tubes. As it turns out, I never sent out the email and the fulfillment team was waiting for the answers but never got them. The email that was supposed to go out yesterday will be going out shortly and we will be working over the weekend to make sure that we send them out as soon as we get the last confirmation to do so.

You guys have been more than supportive of us and I totally let you guys down. As I said, we will be working throughout the weekend to get this sorted out and just as importantly, we will be doing another Dragon Clouds contest JUST FOR INTERNATIONAL customers and the prize will be one of my CUSTOM SOVEREIGNTY pieces. I know that this apology does not get you your EVOs any sooner but since the mistake was mine, I wanted to repay you guys with something that came out of my personal collection. Also, this contest won't be based on likes, follows, and re-tweets but just based on who has the most creative, enjoyable video to watch so it won't be a straight popularity contest.

This mistake stings particularly bad because as I was pointing my fingers at others, I was really pointing them back at me. I am disappointed in myself and this is definitely a prominent reminder to measure twice before cutting once. I hope you guys can enjoy your weekend despite not getting tracking numbers and we will be working through the weekend to make sure we ship these out the second we get our last response to do so.

Thank you for the update stonemonkey, it makes the delay easier to bare when we know the reasons behind it and that you guys are working to resolve things. I think it's when we don't hear anything that people (myself included!) start throwing their toys out of the pram.

Everyone makes mistakes so don't beat yourself up about it- in the grand scheme of things an extra few days won't make a huge difference.

Here's hoping for a tracking email asap!

@stonemonkey55 - As someone who deals with the highest level of customer service (read on behalf of the CEO & President) of one of the largest financial institutions in the world, I like what I see. Way to step up and resolve the concerns of your customers. Cheers!

So is the estimated delivery time given 2 weeks? Smokie and I were talking about this in a PM earlier.

I don't know long it takes for other places, I've never waited longer than 2 weeks for things shipped from US. I didn't get many.
Can be longer in some cases probably.

It'll be interesting to see how long they get held in customs though. I've had some ELBs and a Hydrafoot in customs for over a week. It's about two and a half weeks since the package was sent from VapeXhale. Have had a letter through the post today from ParcelForce asking to pay £16 in fees.

Let's hope the customs dudes work quickly with the EVOs, and the fees aren't too much!

I ordered some ELBs and bits a few months ago in anticipation of my soon to be arriving Evo (ha!) which arrived (US to UK) in about ten days so I imagine two weeks is a good estimate. What I am most concerned about is a huge delay and customs charge on arrival here in the UK. This is not helped by the fact that Vapexhale have informed me that they are unable to remove the invoice from the packaging (which I don't comprehend) so the dear authorities will be able roger me for hundreds of pounds in taxes:-(
