we had our bank do that with a recent concert ticket purchase... had to call bank and then also verify with the ticket sales dept, was a real hassle when the tickets were limited availability and time sensitive. Glad you got it worked out. I hope we are a happy bunch of frit owners in a couple of weeks. :D I said I was done too, even looking into a possible glass blowing opportunity if it pans out it might just make all this china glass mute, but until that is a solid deal, I will continue to rock the china glass. I am very pleased with the performance of all of my cheap pieces, even if they are a little wonky.

I almost pulled the trigger on this last night on amazon for $60.00. Searched all night around "ali-offer-gate" and found nothing like it.

I was tempted by that Simba offer, esp. when I saw it get to the lowest price, but still close to $100 wasn't gonna happen. I can justify $20 though, so now we'll see how good this china frit is when it arrives. I am glad to be seeing more people getting orders from DHgate so quickly, some in just over a week. That's fantastic delivery speed. Crossing my fingers to see mine in the next week or so. Already got a shipping notice, just plug the #s into USPS and get real tracking info.

Yup same here from both Sunshine and Ms. Kathy (dhgate store not AE) ordered the frit 14mm and 5 - 4" titanium dabbers through Sunshine and the black Toro from Mrs. Kathy new DH store. Hopefully her shipping is quicker being through DH, doubtful but possibly.:shrug:

Slightly off topic but I am preparing the big trigger pushing over the frit A/C, Am I correct in thinking that 18.8 v 14.5 will never be a fair fight since the 18.8 gets more space for the air to travel and is somehow more satisfying or is it just a personal point of view ????

I did buy quite a few A/C and experimented and that's what I came up with, altough I do know that it all depends also on the rest of your arsenal been one or the other...

:D the tubes for the 18mm are just wider, so you will get less restriction in comparison. I do think it comes down to personal preference and how much the vape or other additional parts add restriction as well. I chose 14mm on the frit A/C because I know it will serve my purpose better (fit my lotus and j hooks that mostly go unused) though I would typically prefer to choose 18mm just because it's more versatile with various adapters. I do also think perc restriction comes into play here depending on how its designed, so it's a mixed bag IMO.

It never hurts to wait and see how the quality of the first wave of orders shows up, but I've also noticed that there seems to be a point where multiple orders results in quicker turn out, and possible degradation of product quality?? if that makes any sense. Seeing how the DO2O knock offs were showing up in less desirable condition than the first ones people were getting etc... although considering we have already compromised QC for price to begin with, its a mixed bag no matter which way you look at it.

I'm very leery of the Chinese fritted pieces. Maybe it's just me being paranoid but I just feel a lot more comfortable going with a US blower for that type of perc.

Got the recycler from Apollo today. It recycles but it doesnt have much of a vortex. Not sure if Im going to keep it or not. The vortex chamber is more of a splash catcher than an actual vortex but it does circulate the water. I need to get Mrs PoopMachine to pull through it while I watch and can see how much it recycles. I hate to not have the vortex but if its recycling decently, I might keep it, especially with a future discount on the table. He has some really nice Toro style stuff that could be one of my next pieces.

EDIT - Had the wife pull through it so I can watch the water.. Im going to return it.. its very picky about water level and real easy to end up with a mouth full of water.

I bought this one with 18mm fittings to enhance a water pipe.
Plus I have 2 x 18mm SHERLOCKS (JHOOKS) and only 1 x 14mm JHOOK.
Need more JHOOKS but there sold out.

I think GAS is just as bad as VAS?

I haven't used this piece in over a year.
This setup with SHATTER vapor clouds might be medicating?

I disagree. I spoke with a friend of mine who is a lampworker and her take on the frit disc perc was that it probably couldn't be easier to make. Not to mention how insanely cheap glass frit is.

Why don't you buy all your consumer goods in the USA?

Cell Phone, Computer, Appliances!

I recently bought a USA glass piece for $300 and the $29 Chinese piece is just as thick and percolates excellent. $271 in change to buy more cannabis!

"CANNABIS is the HOLY GRAIL"!

My friend was actually really impressed with the D020. I'm paraphrasing but she said they've probably got tons of the angled showerheads and they just stick it in through the bottom and add the base.

Why don't you look at someone's prior activity before you start making presumptions. :shrug:

I have no issues with Chinese glass...hell I was one of the first on the forum here to order the D020 and I use it daily. I also picked up a Ti nail from Kathy Hu that ended up giving me a sore throat after a couple days.

When it comes to frits I would rather go with a US based company because I don't mind paying a premium for QUALITY CONTROL considering the potential danger of a poorly made frit. I never said Chinese frits were made poorly...hell I said that I was probably being paranoid but that is my stance regarding that specific type of perc. :shrug:
