I have a terrible habit of fall asleep while my pnp is on the charger, sometimes I need it to be charged for the morning and don't have time to plug it in when I wake up so I try to get it charged before I sleep but I always seem to crash before its done. How bad is this for my battery? Also if I pop it on the charger while its just a bar or 2 low is this also bad practice for my batteries longevity. I would like to take the best care of this portable as I can so it last. Any feed back on others experience with the battery charging and preventive care options would help me out a lot.
Thanks

No worries. .....

Most always would leave them on charge overnight. Never a problem.

Always tried to top off as soon as practical, too. Less stress on battery. Think conditioning only possibly a factor with first charge or so with certain types of batteries, but probably not much issue with these. Not a battery expert though. ;)

Hi Very high
Forgot I ordered one of these, my nano adjust a bowl glass arrived from the USA this morning :) just taking it for a test flight so to speak wake and vape. The taste of the herb is so much better now its glass, I just cut a piece of the silicone and jammed it in the top as shown. Am I correct in thinking once I have read the last 160+ pages I can take an old VB PonG cut out the plastic innards, file down and insert (oo err) the glass nano flush? Thanks in advance, I am thinking this will now be used whilst indoors and the regular MP outside. This vape continues to impress me each day :)

I am now trying to think of trimming the silicone down even more so it sits more flush with the unit :hmm: wish I had @BarnBoy skills to make the cork attachment jobby :haw:

@Krizzle - Excellent job man! I tried what you did too until I found the tapered washer (sink faucet repair). As you can see from your photo, that silicon tube doesn't fit in there very well; not as well as the cork like washer I have. I even tried sanding the silicon tube to give it a taper and it works, just not as well...

So proud of all you hackers out there. Can't comment on the PonG mods needed. My thought is to over drill the hole (0.56" - 0.57") for the GonG tube and use the silicon tubing as a wedge like you're doing and @Lahey showed...

Hey Everyone! I'm new to the forum. Just received my Pinnacle Pro with WT on Monday. I owned the Classic Iolite for a few years and it recently died. What a nice change... Loving the PNP. Portability is awesome, cleaning is easy, charging and being able to use it is great. This thing packs a punch as well. WT is a great touch as well. I'm hoping this thing will last a long time. I've read through the forum trying to figure out what to watch out for... Is it the pong and mouthpiece that's being replaced? Or the pong that's for the WT? Both? Or just the little mouthpiece? Do people use the vape without the little mouthpiece attached? Thanks, seems like a well informed forum. I'm just a little confused about pongs and which ones are having issues. I would prefer to have all glass like most. Thanks for your help... I'll blame the confusion on the PNP I've been testing the last few days :)

People are getting some degrading of their pongs, not all. Use whatever works for you as a mouthpiece when vaping dry. I prefer using the pong as a mouthpiece. For me the mouthpiece got too hot and the vapor too harsh. Some FCers like to DIY and have added some glass to their pongs.

VaporBlunt is doing an exchange program. They will send you a new pong with an all glass air path if you send them a damaged pong that you received with your unit. Some folks are saying that their pongs are being damaged by the high heat. The pictures we are seeing are scary.

Thanks for the info. Are the damaged pongs the one for the WT or the other? What are the differences between vaporblunts design and engineers? I know they were probably posted somewhere but there are 168 pages to go through.

If you go through the last 20 pages you will see the latest. It is the black pong. You can see pics.

Ive also just written to TRVB's gmail for the second time. Still no response on the issue of sending my clear plastic PonG that came with my WT to be replaced with a new GonG. Should I just ship it and hope for the best?? I am starting to understand some of the frustration in TRVB's communication practices.

I also emailed (to both emails)them about 3 or 4 days ago and have not got a response. I am also seeing people that emailed after me and are getting responses before me this is getting a bit of a joke first we are told the clear PonG that comes with the water tool is no good because it melts now the second PonG (Black) is melting too and all i want is a functioning unit. At what point does it turn into a product recall from just a few faulty units? i appreciate that TRVB is trying to get it sorted but if this was my only vape i would be out in the cold. I love my PNP but if i cant use it it is useless to me.

Still no answer here...and I mailed them before you. Then again I never heard anything about the MP they wanted to send me in exchange for my fuming one either. Between the lack of information on the VB site itself, the erratic CS and the questionable way public relations get handled, I start to feel this is not the right device for me.

Sorry for beeing cynical, acidic and grumpy, it's just not funny anymore.
I emailed VB around the same time as you guys. Got a pretty quick response asking for my credit card info. This was their response...

"The process will go as follows: You do not have to send us the plastic pong but you will be responsible for the shipping for the glass pong. We will charge your credit card the shipping charges and then provide you with a tracking number.

I will just need your credit card information: Number, expiration date, and cv number [3 digit security code on the back]"

I replied to them but have not received a reply or tracking number, yet!

Cheers.

Much better for most i think.

I missed the post about being able to send in MPs instead of PonG's but did @TherealVaporblunt mention if this exchange is "one per customer" or if I have multiple MPs and PonG's can I exchange more than one of them? Also, I am going to wait for @Engineering 's version and assuming everything about this current exchange will carry over when that version is available.

A taste on the tongue
Mine arrived today.

Great design and is very stealthy and not a silly look at me colour or design.

Simple to operate bullet system I really like. Got 4 extra bullets and 4 caps.

Was going to leave it until the new glass lined ones appear but had to test it the once.

Real breeze to use and great to hold. Tried some bone dry pongy clone cheese on number 1 and then number 2 and after 3 and about 5 mins in total and the herb was pretty done. Unit seems to hit harder than my solo but really loses out in taste perhaps the glass lined ones will even that score?

I found taking small hits best as big ones taste bit hot but really do heat the Pong up. When done flipped the pong off and dumped bullet to let it cool down.

As for the mouthpiece issues really hope that's fixed as it would be a shame if such a good design fell into obscurity over it.

The way I look at it is this is a fledgling industry and there are going to be issues as long as the company makes good on its postage costs only if you don't send it back is fair if you're outside the USA as I'd have to pay to send it there anyway.

End of rambling mini review it sure hits hard!!

@Mister G - start re-reading posts from 158 as that is where TRVB gets active on this thread and particular topic...

Also, see the little up arrow in the title of the quote above? Give it a good "Press"...

You can click the arrow to the right of their username.

I knew it had to be there. Middle age eyesight degradation absolutely SUCKS. I don't think MMJ addresses that does it .... or I'd have eagle eyes by now :evil::evil:

I have actually read all the posts, but it's hard to remember everything in here. If I had the time, I would try to compile helpful info for stickies (like WT tips for filling/using, etc), but dang what a job that would be this deep into the thread. :o

Looking good man.

you could put a small tie-wrap ty-wrap right above where you want the silicone tubing to stop at so it won't ride up the gong.

Also, you could use a Gillette razor to shave down the tubing to a slight taper.

@BarnBoy This reason my skirt is not holding onto the unit is because I must have accidently hit the small plastic lips that hold the pong in place with the grinding tool while I was using it. So far the gong I put together is holding up well I took the screen off the bottom of the glass stem because it was getting clogged with the resin really fast. I do put a small half inch stainless steel screen in my bullet to hold the product in place so I do not get any debris in my mouth while using it.

On a side note I have noticed that while using the WT or my homemade gong if I hold my unit towards the bottom the outside around the heating chamber gets a lot hotter and I only go up to level 4 with the WT on otherwise 3 is my preferred setting. If I remember right heat energy can be extracted though hands, so what I was thinking is maybe the heating issue is due to people using the pnp upside down in some bubbler or using the WT but holding the unit away from the heating chamber causing it to over heat over long sessions. I know if I use the pnp in the car I like to hold it so its almost hid in my palm other then the mouthpiece I'm hitting and I know that it never seems to get nearly as hot as when I'm at home and use the WT or the gong. This may just be some crock pot theory I made up in my head or maybe its got a little truth to its science idk just sharing thought and ideas.

Anyone who says they haven't received return emails from us needs to call customer service tomorrow and explain your situation. We have no emails in the inbox other than those from today that are unanswered. Off you haven't got an answer, we never got the email.

I think glass mps started shipping today, I'll look forward to seeing all of your opinions.

I assure you I have the whole email conversation and will forward it if it comes to that. To quote:

Hello,

I have put in a warranty request for a mouthpiece for your Pinnacle Pro and it should be processed tomorrow. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. We seem to be backed up in orders.

There must be some confusion here between the MP and the all glass gong.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/pinnacle-pro.10651/page-135#post-542686

I believe TRVB is referring to the all glass gong and 063-XOBX is referring to the MP replacement because of the crack.

No need to resort to posting emails.

Emails should be kept confidential between the sender and receiver unless either parties agree on disclosing the information.

What's said on this Thread is completely a different issue.

Like you said TRVB in The Baker thread..... its a brave new world.
