I have been play with my water path setups and leaving the VAP2 in the drawer. I pulled it out and hooked it up to water!

Blew me away in the flavor department.
Glad I finished all my projects early today.
The effect is amazing as well!

My cheap low budget unit taste the best?

Hey All,

I'm considering selling my Solo and getting a Vap 2. The reason being that I only use the Solo like a desktop so I figure that I might as well have the Vap 2 for superior flavor.

A few questions though:

1. What is the minimum and maximum effective load you can use in this? I'm thinking the AIWB, but I'm interested in the Straight Shooter and Infuser as well.

2. What is the resistence like on the above pieces, particularly the AIWB?

3. The desk I sit at to read and write at has a slightly inclined top. Is the Vap 2 OK to operate on a tilted angle?

4. How is the flavor of buds that have been in the infuser? Do they grind up OK?
I'm thinking I would like to throw the infused buds in my T1 or possible future Lotus for extra strong portable hits but only if the flavor is great.

1. AIWB, Infuser, and Straight Shooter all hold the same amount (0.1 - 0.2 Grams).

2. All of the above pieces have the same flow with the exception of the infuser if you really stuff it full.

3. A slight incline should be fine. anything less than 30 deg. should be OK.

4. Flavor is exceptional in my opinion. They grind up easily as the infusion process drys them out.

The biggest difference is the straight shooter does not have a carb like the AIWB does. Both are made from the same size glass tubing. Cleaning is the same for either one as we do not recommend sticking anything i the bowls to clean them. Just soak them in IPA overnight and rinse with hot water in the morning. The Straight Shooter was developed for a customer, that requested it and we liked it so much that we decided to start selling them to everyone.

OKAY TAKE MY MONEY I'm buying one. I'm actually glad now that my previous attempts to score fleabay vaporizers failed, prompting me to keep shopping - First: ebay SSV shipped to wrong address. Second: ebay DBV arrived DOA.

I bought a VaporBrothers miniwhip while I was waiting for the SSV. Is it even slightly compatible with the Vapo2 (upside down, etc)? Will it fit in there?

So I just pushed the button. I used the "Build Your Own" package to score a buddy bowl for $8 :clap: Also picked up an infuser to keep life interesting. Imagine dipping those gooey nugs in that fine keif thats usually hard to use... I got the standard one for $5 more than the inline largely for the colored mouthpiece. Plus the AIWB addon bonus... some serious deals goin' down.

@Vapolution Vaporizers i own a vapolution v1 since 2005, probably one of the first you sold to europe. it was my first vape and a good friend for a long time. lots of people converted after using this device, despite inicial laughs about its inconspicous outer appearance. little they knew, what was about to hit them. :) however, it doesn't work anymore. sending in for repair would probably cost an insane amount of money, since i'm based in europe. what other options do i have?

The AIWB is too small for me as is all their standard size bowls. I prefer the larger one. I cannot get high with the amount an AIWB holds and still be able to draw through the resistance and I hate packing multiple bowls per session.

The glass tubing the large bowl is made from is too thin to make into an All-In-Wonder Bowl. I feel your pain. We are working on the Vapolution 3.0 which will have a larger heater, which means larger bowls. It will be released toward the end of this year.

Hope the only thing that changes is the form. maybe no bigger then the ev-2, But keeps the lighter cord, Still takes the same style of stems plus still having the whip ability. I honestly really love everything but the size of the vapolution 2.

The vapo 2 and infuser or straightshooter is my #1 vaporizer, I don't want it to change very much.

I guess some still believe more is better.
I get so stoned off of one stem that on weekdays
all I vaporizer is "abv" so that I'm not so stoned in the
morning.
I'll leave the Vapor 3 for the astronauts.

Are you trolling or is this an isolated facetious comment? I'd like to mention I've observed the DBV thread get derailed by that kind of tone, after people respond to the attitude.

Seems more likely to happen in a product thread... imo an expression of fanboism in general. Resentment breeds conceit... lighten up!

edit: Wow growing pains. It's getting easier. I think my aged, dry, super-dense bud is adding to the loading difficulty and is undoubtedly affecting hits. I wrote the following 2 hours ago without taking that into account and in some frustration. I need to test more.

More is better for me because I don't get as medicated as I'd like from one stem usually, and frankly it takes too long to reload to get more than one person stoned. I'm barely patient enough to fiddle with flowers, pack it right so the draw is tolerable, wait for it to heat up, wait for it to cook the herbs, wait for the effects to hit me, wait wait wait. Sharing with even 1 person would take twice as long to get medicated. NO WAY.

The only reason I don't have some profound buyer's remorse is the AIWB tastes amazing. Mostly though, I find the VAP2 totally impractical to share and time-consuming to medicate with, awkward to load (and to keep mess out of HC), and an eye-sore to look at (there's at least 5 aesthetic blunders that are easily addressed without adding extra materials or labor). The infuser in whip mode is about twice as awkward - hot fragile glass straw at the end of a springy tube... what a pain!!

I really like the design concept however, and I have a long list of suggested improvements, reasons I wasn't as happy to spend my $ as I could be, and reasons I'm not bragging to my friends about this purchase. Is that what the thread is for or should I PM the manufacturer?

Pardon the negativity, I'm blaming the bipolar disorder. I'm also such a cheapskate -- now that I've discovered AIWB as max taste, I've not found a regular use for my Vapolution accessories or my other glassware in general. I admit I'm irked to have so much recently purchased stuff just sitting there. Oh well, it's not the AIWB's fault!

I also really like the bowls as they are now, great size for me I do sit back and take my time. There's always time to vape one more sraight shooter in rudes world. But sharing or in a hurry the ability to do a bigger bowl is a welcome addition too. So smaller, nice looking(like wood) I don't hate the look now it's just too big and obvious to leave out 24/7 , same small bowls, new large bowls all sound good .

I Plead for Vapolution not to have any bright visible lights and no digital display.

"just the same only better" I say.
