Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

again with the 5!? I have no idea how you're not just blackening it in like 10seconds!
I get like 10-15 clouds out of any connection, or just the PnP with the MP at setting 3

lol I rhymed
I have no idea either from what I'm reading and have read on the thread :hmm:

I could not vape higher than 3 but that's just me.
Hahaaa another rhyme
I always start at one without WT, with WT i start at 2
Holy shit!! I don't even get visible vapor till 3

I can get very slight vapor on 1 after about 5 minutes. I often use this setting as i like the effects of a sativa high in the day or going out at night.

Just vaping a bullet of Cheese whilst reading the thread updates. I too bought my PN from vapefiend in the UK. No issues with my PonG or MP yet but I will return my clear plastic PonG that came with the WT for one of these new glass piececs. Looks awesome and thanks for all the updates @TherealVaporblunt :)

I never got a PonG with my WT! I bought both together from Vapefiend, and just got the single PES PonG with the PNP, nothing with the WT :\ I'd assumed he'd removed them as the clear PonG's are really unsuitable with the PNP above setting 3.

I disagree at least in my case. If I were to compare vapor quality the solo makes just as good of vapor at 3 as the PNP does at 5 and at that point the solo has tons of heat left and the PNP is maxed out. Disappointed in the PNP :-/

Didn't you buy your's 2nd hand?

Something is definitely wrong with your PNP then.

You'll notice that when you draw from your Solo at 7, it will drop in temp because is convection only.

The PNP will maintain the same temp at 3 (which I find equivalent to the Solo temp at 7), and hold it constant as well because of the dual heating convection and conduction.

Not to say that a 2nd hand PNP is no good, I just think you got rinsed and had back luck with your 2nd hand purchase.

I'd advise you to try a another PNP and I'll guarantee you'll have a different opinion.

the solo is not convection only

I stand corrected.

The Solo is not convection only as per @ as.

Regardless, for the M1A and the M1D, and also for the ones that my friends own, when using the Solo with a bubbler, and pulling pretty hard, it will drop a few temp levels.

The PNP however does not do that for me.
It maintains its heat level.

Also, I would say that a Solo at 3, is equivalent to the PNP at between 1-2.

i have not used a pnp so cant comment on it

i can only ever drop my solo buy one light and thas only if im really going for it and keep hitting it
as i have not used the pnp i dont know but i doubt it can maintain heat leaves and keep them at the temp its say and would bet its dropping when you hit it no matter what the lights say

@ as,

The only way to find out is to get your hands on a PNP.

I'm talking from experience because I own an M1A and a M1D and a PNP and the PN OG.

I highly suggest you scoop up a PNP and find out the truth.

EDIT: I had to pull that pic off. At least I know animated gifs work on FC!

@ as, sorry that was a tasteless joke.

Did you notice the draw restriction on the PRO compared to the OG?

I have 3 Pnp and I have the 2 Solos, I just bought the newer Solo model that has better airflow and can use while charging. It's like comparing apples and oranges Pnp and the Solo are both great in their own unique way.

The Solo blooooows the Pnp away with flavor. The Solo isn't slealth like the Pnp though. I use my Solo as a desk top. I use my Ascent for on the go. I use the Pnp for in between. The Pnp does a fantastic job of extracting the good stuff from your herb. It's great with the WT. But I use the WT with my Solo too.

I'm glad that VaporBlunt pulled through with addressing the issues that customers are having. I am looking forward to buying a couple of the new glass pong/mouthpieces.

I appreciate all my portable vapes and use whatever one I'm in the mood for. I will probably add more to my collection. New vaporizers are coming out all the time. Its fun to have a variety.

I have no draw restriction with my Pnp.

i am thinking about a OG PN thats why im in this thread reading

why you are hear tho @Sativape what make the PNP much better then the OG ?

You're in the PNP thread.

You've also come into the PNP realm by fate!

PNP > PN OG for multiple reasons:
You can use it while plugged in. This will lengthen the life of the battery.
The PN OG can only be charged while plugged and the power is pulled only from the battery.
It seems as though it heats up faster while plugged in.
5 heat settings on the PNP vs 2 on the PN OG
The higher heat settings on the PNP will allow for vaping concentrates.

Did you notice the draw restriction on the PRO compared to the OG?

I actually find the air flow the same on both units.
I pulled on both units empty and they feel the same.
I have read that the PNP has less restriction but I can't tell.

I find what effects my draw restriction the most is how I pack my bullets and how finely I grind my material.

Charger is the same on both units
Bullets are the same on both units

The MPs and Pongs are backwards compatible from the PNP to the OG but not forwards compatible.

Sorry dude, I got my WT months ago from the yoyokid ebay seller for use with my solo. Only got my PN last week but loving it ever since so I will need to return my clear pong to VB directly and not vapefiend.

Just ordered the 6 bullet holder off yoyokid :) cant wait.

So whats the issue over international replacements ?

I read the most recent pages but dont understand why we cant simply send our pongs back in a $5 padded letter and receive the same in return and thats that ?

People with burnt/used should just send a pic with a timestamp and reciept of purchase correct ?

Also a little confused about the international return process. Hopefully someone can clear it up for me. I'm in the UK and ordered from theyoyokid1 (Stateside) do I need to send my PonG back to him or TRVB directly or can I send it to thevapefiend in the UK and get is replaced from him?

E2A: My PnP arrived today and I must say I was a little unimpressed. Until, I hooked it up to my bong and it hit like my DBV! Seriously this thing rocks.

Water is a must with the PNP, such bigger hits, gets rid of the harshness of the dry vapour on settings 3-5 too :)

Also, a glass vapour path helps hugely in the harshness department, I can vape at level 4 or 5 and it tastes great :)

Man we need a vaporpedia page on this... things are getting complicated for someone wanting to buy one of these bad boys.

As I understand it because I'm an international buyer I won't actually need to send my PonG back, just a picture and the order details?

Can't wait for my proper WT to arrive.

Cremebrulay welcome to FC!

The bullets are small and when I mate the pinnacle with glass it is easy to rip the whole bullet.

But I always would go back and adjust the temp to the next level take another hit, then raise the temp again and take another.

You should be able to get all of the goods out within the pinnacle shut off time. Once you do you can easily dump the bullet and reload. reload. reload. reload

Engineering has shown us the plans for the new pgong, so vaporblunt will exchange your old ones for the glass air path.

Dude, followed your advice, got 3-4 really nice hits from a bullet, good clouds, tasty vape :)
I was thinking bong when i needed to be thinking vape!!!
Think i getting this sussed now, thanks for you help, most appreciated :D

You guys have different versions and batteries. My first unit would be super hot at 3 and melt everything at 5. My second unit, I pretty much have to run at 5 to get some decent clouds.

My solo doesn't drop temps and I have an m103 ceramic model one of the firsts and a PVHES stem. Guess I just got a colder PNP. :(
Maybe it has a defective battery?

It looks to be well made.
Perhaps it's only a part defect?
Change the battery with a new one.
Same voltage and Mah.

Funny my first choice was a PnP for on the go!
I started with SOLO's so I stayed with them.
Vaping flowers outside of my residences seems scary!
If I needed to vape out and about I would have the PnP!
For Flavor no comment!
I vape at home!

Sorted the air restriction. opened her up (pgwaaaar) and around the heating chamber there are some wires with heat shielding that seem to be bunched up and blocked the air path.
air was only entering from the bottom trough the wire inlet and therefor not using the full convection path. Anyhow i pushed the wires slightly and all is well.
I would also like to state that the internals are well built, with good quality parts and good old fashioned Philips screws holding the heating assembly together.
Overall happy out:smug:
