So, what do you think?

It was nice at first. The slide design was my favorite thing in the world. I absolutely loved the slide design. Was perfect for clearing vape hits IMO.

Only had about couple months of fun with it before the plastic taste of the tube really started bothering me. I shelved it and never touched it again. Sorry, I can't stand tasting the plastic.

I was disappointed after repeated dishwashing as was advised on your website the paint came off. I had a black JET but on only the plastic base was black when I sold it.

On top of all of that, the diffusion is awesome, but was a bit much for vapor. I got bored of it before I shelved it for the plastic taste because flavor loss is a problem with glass anyway, with this it felt like breathing air... plastic air.

At this point I am strictly glass. If you could make that slide available for normal bongs that would rule... but because of the plastic I wouldn't be able to recommend this to anyone.

That's odd. We've never had anyone say that before. When you put in the dishwasher, did you use detergent with it? If you did, that's why you're getting that taste. We recommend only using Isopropyl alcohol to clean the JET, and after cleaning, to put it in the dishwasher with no detergent to rinse it extremely well. The detergent will end up stripping the anodizing (it's not paint). We would be more then happy to replace your JET for you, as we stand by our lifetime guarantee. However, you said you sold it, and to have the JET replaced, we just need pictures of the damaged parts. So if you can get some pics of it, we can get that done for ya. We can guarantee you the JET will not taste like that if you only use the rubbing alcohol and rinse it in the dishwasher with no detergent, like I mentioned earlier. It's up to you of course, but we would really like the oppotunity to prove to you the JET hits and tastes the same as glass if maintained properly. So let us know what you would like to do, preferably by emailing us a reply at orders@jetwaterpipes.com

Nothing was damaged just the paint came off was all. It all worked totally fine still.

Also i guess i wasn't clear about the taste thing. I did wash it properly like you recommended. I didn't taste the plastic for a long time. it was only after daily use for several months that I began to be able to pick up the "feeling" of plastic in my vapor. There wasn't any plastic taste. It's like how you can "feel" the glass when hitting a bong but you don't taste it. I had to be using it very very frequently to get that "feeling" of plastic. I know this isn't very helpful but I hope the point i'm getting across is there was no flavor or taste of plastic.

To be fair I want to say that even if I eventually chose not to vape out of it, I LOVED it for dabbing. I used it for dabbing only for several months until I decided to just trade it. I haven't dabbed in a long time so I traded my nail away and then the JET went after that. FWIW my combusting friends who recommended me the JET still love it but i think it's much more suited for combustion or dabbing than it is for vaporizing.

Again, nothing was wrong with it, thank you for offering to help very much, but its just not the pipe for me :)

Haven't posted in here for awhile, but I thought we'd let everyone know that for the rest of this week 3/3 - 3/9 if you order a JET, you'll receive a free JET stack (promo code(s) don't apply) so take advantage of this while you can!

Any promo deals in September @quantumaviator ??? :brow: Lol

EDIT: i know it's been a while since someone posted, but there hasn't been a video of using this bong with a vaporizer or I could be wrong. Anyone have an opinion?

I acquired a Jet recently and use it with the EVO. It's a good piece, there is substantal drag though to get the hit started. The easy clear valve is a nice touch and it bubbles really nicely. The fact is isn't glass always makes me feel like there is something "off" about the piece, but just slightly.
