Good luck, man... I filed a dispute over Kathy Hu sending me the wrong sized ash catcher. Ali just kept asking for more proof. I had given them pictures with the piece measured, pictures with it beside a 14mm piece, explained the difference between 14mm and 18mm in the glass world.. I mean, ANYBODY could have seen she sent the wrong item but they just kept asking for more and more proof but wouldnt give me anything specific they wanted. Finally after the 3rd time, I just asked them what exactly it was they wanted because I couldnt see where I could give them anything else they didnt already have. A week later they responded by closing the case and siding with Kathy.

Whatever, its $10.00. Im not going to lose any sleep over it. It cost Kathy way more than that in revenue because I was ordering stuff steady from her but if she's not going to stand by her own mistakes, Im not going to deal with her and if Ali isnt going to protect the buyer at all, I wont buy from them either.

Id like a couple more ash catchers but they wont be coming from there.

Yeah, the drawbacks are: the connection from the external stem to the base is a little strange looking, some of the slits are a little irregular. Overall pretty amazing! But after the shock/glow, I would not say it hits better then the d020, that little beast is like breathing fresh air in an irish spring, hahaha. However I would still consider it an indispensable addition to my sunshine collection. Looking forward to the mini Toro knockoff..

This is more like when you go to a restaurant and order someone plain - but you get something really nice. Not quite heady glass yet. But functional as hell! It kind of reminds me of those color-rimmed Mexican-blown drinking glasses. Same thickness, same feel.

Still - Im curious where your's broke, and if it was as thick as mine.... I'll post some pics... It does appear that the outer stem is thinner and weaker glass than the body. I bet that's where it broke.

Like I said, I dont care. I just dont want to see other people get burned because they think they have some kind of protection they dont. Ive dealt with this chinese stuff enough to know exactly what was going to happen. I figured as soon as something got popular, they would start cutting corners and putting out shit. Ive seen them do this exact same stuff with car parts. A forum I was on bought a set of headers from a Chinese manufacturer and they were pretty nice and 1/4 the price of what they would have cost in the US and everyone jumped all over them and inside of 2 months, they were sending out half finished junk that didnt fit.

I hoped this stuff would be different because it probably takes a lot less time to make a small bubbler than it does to make a set of stainless steel headers but obviously its the mentality over there.

Besides that, I dont think Ive ever posted exactly how the dispute process went so I wanted him to be prepared for that because it was quite dumbfounding.

It's good to have that information Poopmachine. It makes me inclined to simply say I didn't receive the item and save myself the hassle. I think what Herr Dampf is saying is that they are perfectly in their rights to ask for it to be returned because anybody can get pictures over the internet - of course, I realize yours were real. The best proof for them is to ask for it back and if the buyer doesn't want to do that then so be it! It basically means they're less likely to lose money.

Long time lurker, first time poster... I picked up that beaut yesterday afternoon, that might explain why it was taken down. :) I'll post an update when it arrives at the end of this week. Can't wait to see what the rasta reversal looks like in person, listing says it comes with a matching reversal bowl also. I'll be pairing her up with a Vapor Brothers and MFLB. Can't go wrong for the price!

That is what I am wondering. I ordered my D020 from here: http://www.dhgate.com/store/sunshinesmokeshop and had no problems at all. It costs more now than when I picked mine up, which sucks because I want to order a spare. I really love the piece. I hope these shitty ones aren't going to turn people off from a great deal on a very solid piece.

@skipbifferty had the same issue, I kinda hope its just the seller (we 3 bought from another shop, not Kathy Hus), not the D020 itself. Technically its a LY003 not a D020. I guess we orderd the chinese clone of a chinese product.

I think the Nano will clear it, but it'll be close for sure! I guess it depends how high on the can the joint is mounted on the particular one they ship.

I'm sure if you emailed the guy he'd be happy to help or make one that'll fit a vape.

Well given that Im still glassless at the moment (FML and my shitty luck), I may need something inexpensive like this to last me until I can get something better on a 4/20 sale... This could be perfect if the dimensions cooperate. I see people got $80 offers accepted. Thats stupid cheap if it includes shipping.
