Edit- works great with water for dabs is how I use it with h20, but it's a loud, chug a lug machine.

Have you tried it with water in it with the Lotus? I feel like that would give it a bit more resistance.

It does but you still have to sip it to milk it, and I've only been able to replicate the type of hit from my pipesdaddy curvy Sherlock a few times. So what I guess I'm saying is its still good but I've got a better option for my Lotus.

That a/c looks cool, but looks like it'll send heaps of water into the j hook.

If those honeycombs fire at all I'd expect the water to overflow.

I had to place an order for one of these to go with the Hammer with screenless gong. You All have me looking at J-Hooks all over the internet since I'm losing my paranoia of using glass with my numb hands.

This one is on Amazon now. Only 24$, comes with a non-gong ash catcher. Looks like the blue ones are OOS.

I wonder if OGB would do a 18mm one?

Here is my "j-hook" set up.. It is a monster ashcatcher on a Jhook.. Used for combustion, too much diffusion for vaping or dabs.

I just realized that I could eliminate my whip tubing on my VaporBros, now it's an all glass, dry vapor path.. I stretched a small band of silicone tubing around the end of the VB whip and it makes a perfect seal w/ the 18mm joint on the Jhook...that bend in the hook really absorbs a lot of heat too.. I have been enjoying dry rips comfortably lately, all thanks to that.. The VB whip lets little particles through around the edges of the screen though.. that's been giving me a little bit of a cough, but the vapor is nice and smooth.

Very nice! $105 is pretty steep, but it's pretty tempting. Wonder how it would work with the Lotus? Would have to use a reducer probably as it has an 18mm connection.

Im not keen to the perk... is it a natural of sorts? Thats my question.... I guess I could rubber band my solo to it lmao.

Edit I guess maybe what I thought was a disk perk is just an Ice catch reduction maybe?

But then my wife mentioned how phalic it looked and I started second guessing my decision, lmao.

I really like the idea of a free standing j-hook, do you use yours often like that?

Tell him to use rounded tip spikes instead of balls. It will eliminate the phallic-nes of it. Itll get that alien edge that way.

Yes, this is my only setup. Although I'd like to see it attached to something.

Good call, but I think using spikes instead of balls would make it very uncomfortable to hold.
