Hey , I got my KISS carts .
But there were no clear labeling to tell me which is which .
I have a hunch , but if anyone can confirm this
here's a pic
The one on the left with the flat mp is the standard
The one on the right with the round mp is the Ti
I think ...
anyhoo
The standard KISS cart has a deeper bowl and puddling is
unavoidable . It should be revised to a more shallow bowl .imo
The heating coil does not come near to heat the puddle .
It also gave off a funky taste on the few hits I've done off
of it . I hope that taste will subside and be gone altogether
after more usage . idk
Now the Ti KISS cart ,
I like the round open mp tip .
A much shallower bowl which is good and Less puddling
to reclaim . I may try to reheat the oil , onto the coil .
Maybe with a hair dryer or something . b/c I don't think the Ceramic bowl can withstand the flame heat . idk
NO Funky/Metallic Taste .
Both KISS carts gave nice big hits .
Also , How long can I hold the button to heat ?
I've been treating them like 1.5 ohm carts .
Hold down for 4 secs then off for 2 secs ...and repeat one time .

I agree. I used a razor blade to cut off 1mm so that it is not so close to the heater.
You can see in the pic that I cut it to right where the 2 air cut outs begin. I had no overheating of plastic after this. It did not happen to mine, I cut it to prevent melting after seeing pics of melting ones.

Ya , I forgot to ask that question in my last post .
If the mp were inter-changeable , I really prefer the round
turbo tip .
I haven't noticed or taken them apart yet .
But the metal tubing in between doesn't even get warm .
So I just don't see how it can , but thanx for the heads-up.
I'll keep a watch for it .
Also , I've been using mostly the Ti KISS cart .
B/c of the shallow bowl , and Non-funky taste .
Maybe they've done a revision on the mp since yours . idk
After I posted the picture they sent me a new round mp. They might be interchangeable but I don't have a ti So don't know for sure.

I just tried , and yes they are inter-changeable .
Plus the round tip's plastic Does Not extend all the way
down into the metal tube . It's much shorter , and will hopefully
avoid the melting issues .

Yea I found overloading just causes you to waste more oil by having it drain off into the cup portion. Ideally you want to add just enough to soak the ceramic wick once heated.
Given how little material it takes I wouldnt be surprised to find out that the VAST majority of KISS owners are overloading them on the regular.

Hey guys recently started having problems with my Omicron v2.5 hopefully someone can help. When I press down on the button, the blue light goes off but the cartridge doesn't heat up. It was working perfectly fine one second and then it wasn't. Any help would be appreciate I was loving the shit out of my omicron + KISS cart combo. I tried cleaning everything down with iso alcohol, switching out the battery, and recharging the batteries but no luck.
Soak it in ISO for a couple of hours, wipe down, let dry and your ready to go.

I wouldn't wipe it down except for the exterior. You increase risk of damaging the coil or wick. Ive found that a 99% hot iso soak is enough to completely clean the unit. After the soak just shake out the excess or use compressed air then do a few quick burn offs to evaporate any remaining iso as well as to clean off the coil/wick. Be careful not to overheat the wire when doing that though.

I decided to go ahead and order another Titanium GR2 KISS cart and an Omicron SS kit. I really like this pen, and want to have back up's. Plus, I think the SS kit will be more stealthy for Megacon.
Do these batteries come pre-charged?

It's always a good idea to give battery-powered devices a full charge before using. Helps with battery life a lot if you give it a full charge instead of just going to town on it.
