Hey guys, thought I would throw down my opinion on that new Hu piece. My roommate has a similar piece from pipesdaddy although his is slit on the bottom. His works very well. Although he mostly uses it for combustion (filthy hobbitss) it would probably work very well for those looking for more diffusion. Once you hit it once the water separates above and below the HC and reduces drag. Here are my pics from when he got it last fall.

Hey all, I just got my new J Hook from colie glass and my friends Pipesdaddy piece came in today as wellThought I would share some pictures.
This is the pipesdaddy Inline to honeycomb, he picked it up for something like $70.
The inline is attached to the other side wall and the slits are pretty clean
Heres my MGW ashcatcher with new J-hook, works beautifully when attached to my Solo

I had the same issue with the same vendor, but a very different outcome. Kathy sent me the wrong joint size on 2 hc pieces, full refund from AliX & didn't have to return anything. I've bought quite a few items from Kathy, only had this 1 problem which was adequately resolved.

Yeah my 10 arm perc arrived and it was 14mm not the 18mm I was told. Couldn't get a refund, sadly, but Kathy is sending adapter and a 18mm bowl.
Fantastic piece though. Hits are so smooth now.

No clue if I was just lucky or if they stepped up their game. I just orderd last week and a few days later, Kathy informed me before shipping that the description states the wrong size (another 14 instead of 18) and asked me what to do about it. I requested another piece instead that was a few bucks more, she switched it out for free. At least thats what she messaged me, I will report when the package arrives.

I fill from the stem and take a drag which pulls the water up through the honeycomb into the chamber with the 10arm perc. In the honeycomb section there is usually water above and below the comb and in the arm chamber there's a few inches, I don't have it in front of me so using memory, if water hits my lips from a pull then I pour some water out the top.

This is the first time I've owned a multi chamber piece of glass so wasn't too sure how to go about it, glad I seem to be on the right track.

On DH gate, they have this piece that intrigues me, a knock-off of the Helix pipe which uses venturi effect with carb jets to cool the smoke and create a really cool vortex effect as you inhale - see pics and video below. This one on DHgate could be the real thing unbranded (real ones come from China too, I've heard) or a cheap knockoff, no way of knowing.
I'm just curious about how this would work with vapor and what you would need to do to connect it to a water tool or direct to a vaporizer, it has a 14.4mm joint.
This china version is $33 bucks shipped (shipping cost as much as the pipe), while the real Helix pipes sell in the US at GravLabs for $187.
Usage video of the real Helix Pipe:

Cool - the water tool part of the Jet Flash looks like you can feed it a vaporizer a lot more easily than the Helix with that female joint. Always finding new and interesting stuff around here. The vortex on these things is probably purely cosmetic (edit: I realize it probably does cool down smoke/vapor), unlike the function of a recycling WT, but it's pretty good eye candy, imagine one of these on the mouthpiece of a recycler

You can get the D020 now, wait for me to get the honeycomb and decide after a little video

No clue, I never tried either. The handle/WT part on the Jet Flash seems more functional to me, especially for vaporizers.

I'd go with the d020. It has less drag and is easier to judge your draw speed.
Unless you have a sensitive throat/lungs and need the extra diffusion, then the honeycomb.

Well I have a honeycomb and I don't care for it but that's because the can is to small, so I was thinking that piece might be a better.
But now that I've used my solo I think it's drag will be better, D020 it is.

I have em both and they are both equally great little pieces.Why not get both?
Being both are small they pair well w/Solo (my vape of choice) and I guess if I had to go for my favorite of the 2 it would be the Dh gate d020 piece, I like the fact the intake is center and weight of vape and rig are neatly balanced.The inline>H/C sits well and doesnt tip over but the vape is out in front and if not careful it could tip but I havent experienced it so far. IMO both are great but if the pocket is short on $$ then the d020 would be even a better choice due to its price and popularity.
