I actually prefer using it handheld at a slight angle.
I find when using it perfectly level, you get that tiny chug where the downstem meets the can - I think that's something that all disc percs have in common.
When using it handheld, the slight angle stops the bit of chug and it's smooth draws all day long.

I ordered a piece from him just after Christmas. I traded a few texts with him and he was really quick to respond. Then, he went totally dark. I wasn't sure if he was flaking out or it was something bad. I eventually had to file a dispute with paypal to get my money back and there was no response to my dispute. I hope everything is okay but I definitely wouldn't send any payments until Lev resurfaces.
He was holding shipment on a piece for me until February 10th, but now no response. From his above post he is at chsmps lv which is a convention going on this weekend. I guess he just went a month early and is taking a break from electronics. Hopefully we will be good after the convention. Otherwise I'll be filing a well with PayPal.
Champs Las Vegas was January 21 - 23.

Ironically, I originally tried to go with the American glass to support the home team and get better customer service. When I got stiffed, I ended up going with the Chinese stuff for about 10% of the price and have had a great experience. Check out the "inexpensive bubbler thread" for the D020. Good luck!

Hey everyone, I just got word of everything. I am not longer with M&M due to a few issues and haven't been with them since after the show in Vegas back in January. I will call and get any orders placed check out. If you ordered pre February you will have your items sent out. If the order was placed after February my apologies but you will have to try to get your piece from a retail store and your order will be cancelled. But as of February 1st Leviathan Pipes is no more. I hope everyone enjoys the pieces they have received so far and I'll get to the messages Friday. Thanks for the few years we had but I am leaving the forum as well. I wish everyone the best, to quote BDV in my last post "stay frosty".

Well that's a shame to hear. Great glass and great designs. I'm really happy I got my lattice and glad I didn't sent it off for repair. That was only a week later that it was all over. Well, now to find somebody else to repair some glass.
I don't think he'll be back to answer you klipsch as he was saying it was "his last post."

FWIW I sent mine out to SSFG with a broken neck. Allison estimated $100 for the repair and 2-3 weeks turnaround. I'm hoping to have it back soon!

You truly stepped up to the plate bak when you offered the FC lattice bub, still one of my absolute favorite pieces.
Now it'll be even more treasured.
I had hoped to get a custom piece from ya in the near future, but I guess that's not gonna happen now.
