Just a quick question.

Whats the cheapest butane vape that still delivers decent vapour quality?

I'm sure there's threads about this, (so I guess, sorry). I'm not really looking for elaborate discussions, just names and a quick comment on them.

Thanks.

If cheap is your main priority, then I would probably suggest a vapor genie. You can definitely achieve "decent' vapor quality with one. If you're okay with inhaling the lighter fumes.
If you have a water pipe to use then the vapocane and vapobowl are both able to produce decent vapor for pretty cheap. Keep a look out on the FC classifieds. I've seen tons of flame powered vapes go for great prices.

If you're willing to get into the $100 price range, then I'd suggest a Lotus. A lot of people around here really love them.

What about a gnome for ~35 bucks? Never tried one but people seem to like them

Those probably are the ones to consider more (in that order) than the first two I will mention.

Ubie - (Manufacturer) 15 dollars. The Ubie uses hot air from a lighter to rapidly release organic aromas. This can be had for 15 dollars, all glass and can be used with either torch or soft flame lighter. Not what I would recommend but it is an option and something to consider if you really can't spend much.

Gnome - (Vaporpedia) 50 dollars. The Gn0me is a portable all-glass vaporizer that uses a torch lighter as the heat source. The user heats the outer walls of the glass tube and draws in air for fully convection heating action. The air-path is entirely glass and free of butane by design. I haven't used but I have only heard good things about it.

VaporGenie - Is my primarily recommendation for a cheap good butane vape, I would say the price averages around 55, but they can be found for less depending on the model. You can use either a torch or normal soft flame lighter. I prefer soft flames as it allows for more control. It is pipe-style so you may enjoy usage for that factor, or it may make the transition better. The downside is butane in the airpath, it doesn't affect me nor do I taste it but all humans are different. Vapor Genie makes a coil, which I own and love, but can't recommend it over the normal style VG pipes as its much more difficult to get easy huge clouds of vapor.

If you are interested in vapes above 100, the Lotus (100 dollars), Hammer (120), and Vapman (135) will be better choices in the long run over the 3 listed above.

Most users will immediately recommend a Lotus as it heats up quicker than the Hammer and there is no possibility of getting butane in the airpath. But one shouldn't get butane in their Hammer's airpath unless they are using it at an angle that isn't recommended.
