so close i can almost taste it.........vapefiend has been tweeting that its incoming soon, i'm in the process of curing a few strains all untested as of yet, just deciding what one will christen the evo baby! at the mo i'm swaying with dna Tangie......tangerine dankness full on flavour only possible with the evo...

Yes, the international PCB's have been received and are being tested.
It might be helpful to note that there was already an international circuit board developed but VXL was informed by a device manufacturer that a component had been declared obsolete with no replacement intended. This required a new component to be found, engineering changes to the board, a new prototype to be built and tested, new device procurement, board procurement and asssembly, and shipment from overseas. All this unplanned activity significantly pushed out development and the release cycle.
I take many of the recent posts as the venting of understandable customer frustration. That's to be expected. IMO VXL could have done a better job at explaining the risks always associated with crowd-sourcing that contributors need to understand (such as various delays). And arguably VXL under-estimated what's involved in bringing production in-house. That said, let me also just suggest that posting opinions about engineering and manufacturing decisions, without benefit of having relevant real-world expertise nor knowing the specifics, does not reflect well on those posts. While everyone is entitled to voice opinions, the facts - most of which we are not privy to - are often altogether different.

Any rough estimate for how long from testing -> assembly -> ready for dispatch? 3 weeks? 4? Thank you.

It's probably better to wait until they are finalized testing the new PCB.
AFAIK, if all the testing goes fine, they should be able to give us a reasonable estimate of how long it'll take to assemble and ship them, but before they've finalized testing, they just don't know if something is gonna come up that will cause another delay.

I'm not sure how many intl IGG's there are, I assume there cannot be many though.
I am a pre-order myself, but VXL have taken my money so I assume they want to send all Intl units when ready at once, which makes me guess that there cannot be many intl units at all.
My guess is 250 intl orders.

So I understand there are people who have pre-ordered this by backing you to fund it, obviously these guys have priorities on the unit. Do the rest of us have any chance to order 220V units from the batch that you're going to assemble now, or are they all reserved?

SM55's quote depends on if you count Sunday as the first day of the new week, or if Monday is a new week.
If Sunday is a new week, then SM55 has about 6 days to provide an update for his quote to remain true. If monday is the new week, then it is past his estimate of "early next week" as wednesday is the middle of the week.
