Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

Agreed, I had to return my custom lsv to 7th floor because there were just too many problems with the assembly. Compared to the plain silver one I got (& still have) from a shop on ebay, which was perfect.

Hey just recieved my lsv. How do I know when the right temp is reached or when to start vaping. Do I let it warm up with herb attached ? Also is there a temp setting guide anywhere ? I also have the plenty and would like to do a fair comparison. But I must say so far so good for the lsv. Wow.

Its easier to mate them together, because instead of dealing with a hose, you just put the LSV to the bowl like a lighter

Im gonna disagree.
The whip with the adapter i have is way easier to set up and remove than holding a vape despite having to hold the wand.

Different strokes for different folks, but I despise whips and find them clunky. The other bonus has to do with stirring. As soon as you lift the LSV from the bowl, its ready to stir rather than putting down the glass, taking out the whip adapter, then taking the wand and stirring it, placing it back on the heater, then plugging the WPA into the bong

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
You like to argue, if you like silicone cooling your vapor then sending it through a perc for more cooling and flavor loss by all means, be my guest. We here who really appreciate glass prefer direct attachment. Why don't you try one out before starting arguments? You disagree but you've never tried both apparently, so idk why your so confident that you are correct?

Breathemetal, consider the main difference for all vaporization/combustion methods: airflow, aka angle of heater covers for the specific comparison inquired

Lsv is better if the priority is an all-glass vapor path through water tools.

Ssv is better if the priority is to always be "at the ready";
the bonus is that the ssv is versatile beyond flowers.

You can still utilize water tools, but aromatherapy, dabbing,
and different heater cover/wand setups are also available with the ssv.

The big trade-off in my mind is with the lsv you get to fuck with an electrical cord,
while with the ssv you have to fuck with a whip.

They are both awesome vaporizers,
just different shades of the same color.

I recommend you to use a "cigar puff" inhale technique with the transfer wand. It gives your load a "pulse-heating" as opposed to a constant heat. Once I started doing this I got massive hits and when I was done the ABV was perfectly toasted.
Hey did you ever get the abv the same even color ? Just got mines yesterday and I'm getting green, brown, black colors in my abv. What can I do ?

This things awesome haha. The only problem I have is the temp settings. I'm using a 3-2 prong adapter with a surge protector with all of the outlets in use basically. I usually put it at 12 and get sometimes decent hits but now I'm not getting that big of ones. I put it on 2 and got a huge rip but my bud turned really dark brown but the rest of the bud was green and brown. I can't seem to find the right temp. I find it works better when its warmed up for a while, last night I had it at 12 and got massive hits. I'm using the long transfer wand and filling the bowl about 1/4th, I've packed bigger bowls too but I'm trying to get the most out of the littlest bud. I take slow long draws as well. I cant say the same for others. I looked at my ABV container and I have some green, light brown and dark brown ABV lol. I like it a lot though, I get really medicated. Thanks to you guys I bought a tasty vaporizer.

Lucky you!
I can't use a whip.
With water the LSV is a machine.
Never could handle a whip!

Now that means nothing except we are all different!

IME, having stuff shipped to Australia, their shipping times have been pretty much in line with everything else I've ordered from the US.
Not slow, but not blisteringly fast.

I've never had mine get so hot it's unbearable.
Significantly hot yes, sometimes enough that I've needed to craftily use the cord I hold it a bit, but I leave mine on for 3-7 hours at a time, and am always able to grab it and use it.

If you want to turn it off between hits, it gets up to baling temps within 2-3 mins, and is optimally heated within 5 IME.

I put a screw in the side of my cheap ikea coffee table.
Then I hang the LSV from the nail using one of the "Swiss cheese" holes in the heat shield.

When I'm at a friends place, I just lay it on its side.

I can leave my on for 15 - 20 mins at 12 and it gets too hot to hold.. Mine runs really hot. It helps if I have a fan on also.

So I just got my LSV. It took me a few tries to get the technique down. At first I was just 'sipping' it and kept getting very harsh hits. Then I realized that I need to hit it with enough force to draw air through the heater cover and make that 'woosh' noise.

HOLY SHIT! :o

This thing hits like a mac truck! I'm still new to both the Saber and the Surfer, but I think the Saber wins

By harsh do you mean foul tasting or to harsh on your lungs? It seems lately I messed up my technique and can't perfect it.

Like it was super hot and uncomfortable. Like it almost burnt my lips. I'm using the short transfer wand, so maybe that was part of it.

I've found that there's a sweet spot between hitting too soft and too hard where you can just barely make it whoosh and feel the resistance from your material. Sorry if that's confusing, but it's the best way I can explain it.

I have the shorty as well. Does kief for you guys vape at lower or higher temps? Every time I put kief in it seems to make a little bit of a difference.. I think I burn it off after one hit on 12 because it turns darker(I'd say a brown almost) and into a different consistency.

It arrived! The perks of living in the same state as 7th floor is 1 day shipping! The package was missing the 14 mm attachment that I ordered, but I called them and it should be getting shipped within the next couple of days. I haven't been able to use it yet, due to the possibility of a test for an internship, but I'll be sure to update you when I do use it!

I call it Mace Windu

Also, do you think my LSV's heater calibration could have changed? It seems at 12 it has been getting my bud vaped really fast opposed to before.. It seems to get hotter as well.

I just learned some sad news. I'm subject (but not conditionally) to random drug tests pre-employment for this internship. With that being said, gotta have my priorities straight and I'll be skipping any activities till mid May. Sucks, but it's worth it. For now, I've got some motivation to keep workin hard!
