Loving the EVO. Compared to the older cloud everything is improved, quicker heat up, lighter, cooler. I'm currently using mine with the knob at about 1:30.

Your last posts indicated a broken bamboo.... How long have you had your present EVO? Happy to hear you are rockin it though.... are you getting dark ABV on max temp?

I was out of town the last few days. Got a bit of a T-break. Plugged in the EVO tonight and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO baby. One bowl and I'm good.

I remember taking a good long T-break before I got my Cloud+ (maybe a few weeks) and I was a heavy user (2-3g/day). When I received the Cloud I put .1g in the ELB and had the biggest tastiest hit of my life. After that, I actually tapped out for the first time ever and said I was good to go! lol It's amazing what even a short t-break can do, but be careful with VXL products afterward, because it's blast off into the clouds! I can't even imagine the newer EVO.

Whew.. Finally got caught up on almost 2 months of thread backlog. My Evo has been working great... so good I just have not found the time in my busy life to try to make it better but of course I had to see what is new and great. I am traveling once again for work and am in Barcelona so I guess it is yet another T-break for me. If only those international EVO's were ready and I had a friend in Spain :)

On an unrelated side note I picked up some edibles from a dispensary right before I left Oregon and ate them on the plane. Add to the fact that I had 3 seats to myself and that was the best international flight yet!

How does this compare to the lsv? I'm considering one, however I figured for the price of a lsv and ssv I could purchase both with a water pipe, for the price of vapor hale with a water attachment tool. Can someone make some key points for me? I'd love to know the benefits to each side

I stopped using my LSV when I got my OG Cloud. The LSV, IMHO, didn't come close to that, let alone to the EVO, which is even better.

I have a question about the Hydrafoot on Vapexhale's website. Are they the ones with the wider bases like what I got ~4 months ago or is it like the wimpy ones I got with my EB straight neck? That hydrafoot is barely wider than the tube itself and seems almost pointless. I really want a couple more but won't waste my money if the bases are not wide.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

The "new" regular Hydrafoot is 3 3/8" wide. The new 2.0 is at least that wide if memory serves, but is also a heavier base.

The new Hydrafoot (not the 2.0 WT piece) is smaller and shorter than the older ones. If you're looking for something bigger I suggest checking out deadfoot designs. Wide, sturdy, hand made wooden bases at a great price!

Well, that's weird. The new hydrafoot I got three weeks ago is bigger/wider than the original ones I have. (3 3/8" vs 2 1/2").

OK Now I am utterly confused on the hydrafoot size. Can someone from Vapexhale confirm if these are wider or shorter bases? I am giving serious consideration to deadfoot design since I need two hydrafoot's but the hydrafoots are more flexible for my arrangement. I tend to move things around a lot.

Well I gave you the measurements of the ones I have (except the new 2.0) and I haven't seen any other sizes although I've seen all their current glass in one place or another on feet. But the foot sizes might be matched to the HT maker rather than a generic foot size so there could easily be differences in ones that appear to be the same size.
Confusing enough?

But they now seem to have a "Chat" feature on their web page as this might not be quite worth or submitting a "ticket" to ask.

Well, that's weird. The new hydrafoot I got three weeks ago is bigger/wider than the original ones I have. (3 3/8" vs 2 1/2").

My original HF is 3 3/4" and the one that came with my IGG tube is 2 7/8". Sounds like variations in the batches? The small one is fine for my HydraCirc and HydraLine, but way too small for a big piece like the Fanatic Swagger.

So I was able to log a few sessions with the HF2.0. I was out of town for the majority of the weekend, but coming home Sunday evening to see the package made arriving back home that much sweeter.

First off, it is beautiful. None of the images I had seen really gave me a good scale to have an expectation on size, but I have to say the can is a bit bigger than I expected it to be, and that is a great surprise. Even with this added size, I later learned that as light as the EVO is, it will tip the HF2.0 over if there is no water in the base and no glass on top. Mine did not fall over, I was testing exactly this stability and as it tipped it was gracefully stopped with a waiting hand. So be aware and cautious.

(apologies, this is a shitty pic - actually, they are all shitty cell phone pics...)

I immediately cleaned the glass, put what I imagine to be the right amount of water in (enough to cover the perc, but not so much that when drawing stops the water reaches too far up toward the bamboo) and tried a dry draw direct from the male 18.8mm GonG. I was surprised at how little resistance there was (another nice, welcome surprise). Then I loaded my HT on top (EB Turbine) and had a draw. Again, wonderful. It was not noticeably adding any drag. I then opted to test fit the EVO empty. Initially I saw that the opals on the HT would be in the way, so I got my angles right and comfortable layed it on there and admired.

Initially I did not like the feel of it. I have never used the EVO (or any other vape) inverted, and I was really looking forward to it. I did not like it initially, felt like everything was too close together and like I was going to break something easily. Them I tried it. I got used to the feel in about 1 minute. Taking it on and off, figuring out how I like it angled and which had does what was all I needed to really fall in love with the setup.

Flavor is barely touched - it is still a shockingly flavorful experience. Perhaps there is a slight reduction, but I was really looking for a loss in flavor and was unable to find it...

Conditioning is great. Adding this chamber allows me to blast through a 1/3 @ 2:30-3:00 with one massive rip and not even an inkling of a cough. I could really get a thick enough rip going before to REALLY cough and so far, with the HF2.0, I cannot find the need to cough. Imma keep at this though :)

As I mentioned before, there is little to no additional drag.

All in all, I am 100% pleased and would recommend this product to friend or foe.

And now a little different...

I got an idea to try something new (to me) with some additional wristbands to add some stability to my station. Specifically, I removed the ability for the EVO or the HF1.0 to slide around my desk without me intending to do so. I simply put a wristband around the base of the HF and another around the base of the EVO, just low enough that it hangs over the edge. I am VERY pleased with the resulting stability and actually like the look:
