The D020 is easily "worth" far more than its price (which is still around $28, happily), but the closer the cheap Chinese glass gets in price to cheap American glass, the more likely I am to support the home team! As the prices creep up, my willingness to roll the dice on a new piece of dubious quality definitely goes down. YMMV. :)

That may or may not be overstating FC's impact in the overall scheme of things, IDK. These pieces are being sold at both single AND multiple piece prices, targeting the individual AND retail markets worldwide. No doubt FC IS a valuable and notable resource for many, but to what extent it is driving this segment of the market IDK.

Yep! This thread has shaken the myth/stereotype of china glass being very subpar to north american glass - it also challenged the myth of good glass being expensive and all... The reviews and pictures from the people on this thread has been more than invaluable to all types of buyers in their purchasing decision with these types of glass.

Funny you should say that.

My WP-010 love affair was cut very short tonight, :mad:.

Tried placing a keck clip on to hold my cloud buddy, and it couldn't handle the pressure. Snap. Less than a week old, :cry:.

Like I mentioned in my review, the welds where terrible but I overlooked them because the piece functioned flawlessly.

Did it snap from the weight of the attachments or from the sudden force of the k clip snapping in place?

(bitching about k clips)-- I know glass usually survives the violent snapping of those clips, but damn. It's like they need 3 hands to operate - 2 to brace/provide leverage at the joint for the clip to snap peacefully, and a 3rd to support/balance glass pieces being attached. The tong-like metal clips seem more glass friendly in that regard... maybe bend them a bit wider. my $0.02

The 2nd and 4th link you posted are the ones I'm looking at. I've been looking for videos or some solid reviews (as well) before I pull the trigger.

This little guy keeps getting lost in the mix, I think because the picture is so unflattering. It appears to be the same as the (now unavailable) Kathy Hu HC with a different mouthpiece.

You are a 100% right. I saw that piece before but the mouthpiece seemed to close to the honeycomb due to the squished pic. Thanks for reposting that video, now I have to order another piece.

I wasn't even close ...
I prefer the D020 , b/c my Solo will be sitting on top of the 18mm opening , rather than stressing out the weld joint on the WP-010 . jmo

It also says $ 35 shipping costs ( US ) on a lot of these items .
Are you guys getting Free Shipping also ?
I read @ataxian got his for $ 28 ...total .
Regardless , it's still a pretty good price ( $ 63 )

With $10 difference I was leaning towards the perc and honeycomb, but this d020 seems to be a crowd favorite. I'm getting it for the pinnacle pro but would like to have a few other uses too maybe buy the adapter for whip hoses for my vapor brother box. also I would like to have the opition to add an ash catcher to increase the filter, not sure if these piece r too small to support one of these 5/6 arm ash catcher...
and do these sites ship to all the states? because I live in pa and I know a lot of companies wont ship here due to the laws. any input will help thanks.

Good luck. Better question, has anyone ever gotten a reply back? I have sent several queries and not ever been able to get a reply. I was always polite, kept my questions simple, and was patient before trying again. They simply do not answer anything. I tried every way listed on the site. I hope they send me the correct size since it says to specify. I don't think they are going to bother replying about giving you a lower price unless you are buying a few hundred.

I have them both. The D020 is amazingly solid and feels good in the hand. Pulls are a tad harsh, but slower drags help. The 10 arm is fun to use...lots of perc action and nice even cooling without great loss of effecct. I like them both and I doubt you'd regret either one...but why not get both while you're at it? :lol:
