The HI

Oh, I phrased that badly.

I've milked it to the MAX with the HI, I used a turbo tube and U-tube adapter together. It just requires exactly what you said, some proper JedHi technique. So I generally don't pull out the beaker with friend. One of them broke the turbo tube once when trying to go it...he though pushing down hard with the vape would help.

The HI can milk anything wall to wall, I just find I enjoy small to medium sized pieces best with it.

Ah, makes sense! I personally like to use the 14mm GonG tubes but Alan has so many roasting configurations it can make your head spin!

Wow guys.

I can't help myself from using this thing constantly now. At the moment, this is my favourite vape in the rotation. Alan's current design mixed with @CentiZen 's vvps just have made this vape incredibly diverse and fun. I got low temps, around 10.8 to 11.3 for my glass stems and it just rocks. For glass I've only been using my bubbler but my God the HI is milking it so nicely at 12.1 volts.

@Dr. Plutonious - Glad to hear you are enjoying your HI. That is incredible that you are getting such good performance at such a low voltage. It shows how efficient the HI is at converting electrical energy to energy for heating the air. You can now see why the Turbo Tube is still my favorite roasting tube.

@toros23 - Seems like there is always one more roasting tube configuration yet to discover. I like to be able to offer a roasting tube to meet everyone's needs. Have been finding even more ways to use my 18mm glass roasting tube.

I contacted Alan a few weeks back when I was reading page 55 that to get on his list. His initial response was awesome and explained everything I needed to know. I'm not the proud owner of a older style sinboro burl HI that I named Sinister as it gives some wicked hits.

I also ordered 14mm WonG and 14mm GonG and the SS roasting tube with my original order. All at 3.5" lengths as I like direct hits. Since then I also ordered 2 turbo tubes, glass nipple, 14mm all glass roasting tube, universal U tube, both poly storage tube and a flask with a diffused down stem.

I'll also be sending him my wood when my name comes up. I was just browsing ebay and saw this wood and had to have it

Here's the ebay link for those that appreciates a great piece of wood!!!

Many thanks to all for your valuable input and opinions that led me to purchase this HI and my next HI when my comes up again.

Those are awesome looking specimens, just make sure they meet the minimum size requirements to turn into a HI, Alan can help you on that regard.

I took about a 4-day T break due to some traveling. Did a single roasting tube last night filled with some very nice and smelly Agent Orange I found in Seattle after a night of chillin' with some old friends.

Just wow. I ground up weed for 5 or 6 roasting tubes worth but I was ripped after the first bowl. I had the vvps at 11.5 and was getting super thick but tasty hits. Got about 10 nice rips before the bowl died, I held each one in until there was almost no vapour left.

As much as I like water and glass, my (close) second favourite method always seems to be a direct draw through a glass stem and the HI just rulessssss at that.

Did the HI list stop moving? I feel as though I've been on it for nearly two years. It also seems as though folks who added to the list after me have already received HIs.:\

Check your original email to Alan. Mine was dated in March 2013 and I just got the response recently.

The list is still moving. Not always smoothly though. I send emails out to the address of the original email unless asked otherwise. If I don't hear back, I assume there is no longer an interest or financial ability to get one. Spam folder may sometimes catch an email too. The best way to check is to send me an email to alan@toasty-top.com

I just sent an e-mail. Can you confirm that you sent me an e-mail regarding my place on the HI line? Has the list moved past 9/8/2012 at this point?

king of null, i think you should take this by email. I think your turn is long gone, i ordered my HI on Feb 2012 and received the email on october 2012, at the time i didn't have the funds so i only bought it on december 2012 but many HIs have gone since.

Let this be a cautionary tale for everyone on the list: be sure to send an email 6 months after you got on the list. I think it is a reasonable time to check in and it will prevent this situation from happening again.

Hope you get your HI soon now kingofnull. ;)

Well, I can positively say the HI is my all time favourite vape for direct draw/ dry vape. With the VVPS the vape is just so tasty and thick with the roasting tubes and the turbo tubes. As much as I like the turbo tubes, the roasting tube still remains my fave, a bit of a throwback for my love of the PD.

The size of the HI is such a big perc. It is easy to hold, wield. It just is so much more comfortable to hold than other logs.

Unfortunately I lost my 14mm reducer do I won't be able to pair my glass with it for a couple days. But the HI definitely is one of the best vapes on the market for glass still.

chillin on the couch, sippin off a 22 ounce.
Got another HIsaber in the stable (along with another TT)... OH YESSS!!!!!

This time - Purpleheart/Osage HI! Sooooo beautiful in person.

Quite a leap forward compared to my OG HIsaber. In regards of aesthetic and quality, it's easily one of the more, if not THE, most beautiful looking vaporizers that I currently own.

Youve got quite the arsenal there. How would you compare the UDs, Nano and HIs?

Each is slightly different and has its advantages and disadvantages. Tough to get an honest answer from fanboys in a specific thread. What may be a disadvantage of the HI may an advantage for others.
