Arizer Solo

So the other day my Solo started acting weird. I plugged it up and 3 lights started flashing. I unplugged it and used the rest of the battery later but when I went to plug it back up it flashed the blue led then the 7 led then the blue led came on with the red charge led. It just sits there with both of these lights on and doesn't charge... Any ideas on how I can fix this?
It may be the charger that came with it. It happened to my M1D2. Luckily I have the charger from my M1A model, usable with my new Solo. You can order chargers on eBay.

If your 2014 Solo has the pass-thru capabilities (Charge & use ) .
Then , I can't see why not . The upgrade was within the Solo itself to recognize function , nothing to do with chargers or PA .

hope that helps

I have M1D2. My stems are quite loose. Almost fall out when hot. Afraid to put O-ring in because read about people striping threads, unable to get cap back on. What do you seasoned soloist suggest?

Thanks.

I have 2 solos with o-rings that doesnt screw all the way back. For over 8 months and it aint a problem for me. I just dont try to screw it completly. I can put my solo upside down and the stems stay put (i always feel one day it will fall, but didnt yet). It adjust the airflow of my pvhes to a charm. The only "problem" is my cap loosen up when on the go and i have to recenter my o-ring. It doesnt unscrew totally, just enough to let the oring wiggle inside.

I have had mine(M1E1) for a few days and this thing is a dream for me. My friends were amazed at the vapor output and the flavor. I have no clue why it took me so long to get one of these. So easy to run the wife has it right now for her massage she is getting soon but i need that shit back soon!
Nice!

I do hear the call for His and Hers Solos! Anyone second the motion?

Out of habit I go to my sweet spot of heat levels 4 and 5. Today I have been experimenting starting out on level 2 then go on to level 3 and work my up to 5. I get a decent amount of visible vapor at heat level 2 and it has a nice flavor. I checked my older model and had similar results. The two units seem to be pretty much the same except for the use while charging and the long battery time. Also the ease of the draw, stock stems works great with the unit.

Those of you considering getting the PVHES glass mouthpieces and you have ordered a new model Solo and haven't gotten it yet. IMO I would wait to see if you even need the PVHES mouthpieces. The ease of the draw is sooooooo good.

That would be great if solo would make more colors or a wrap
I've been wanting a sort of shell case for it, not too thick but enough to protect it. Maybe a silicone skin or something? Just don't want it getting scratched up and stuff. Wraps would also be nice, if you remove the screws from the bottom I believe you can detach the metal housing to wrap and cut around, then the cap screws off. I have a silver one and wouldn't mind a matte black or something... lots of wraps and pretty cheap too!

It def. couldn't hurt to contact the vendor and specify which model # you're looking for .

in my case ;
I'd contacted Randy from Puffitup , and specified , that I wanted the SS bowl and Not the Ceramic bowl . ( 2 1/2 yrs ago )
It was complied with and no issues . I will be doing the same thing with the newer pass thru models , b/c there seems to be a few older models out there still .

Is there a significant difference between the SS bowl and the ceramic? I remember reading that the ceramic bowls used to chip, does that still happen? Im a little leaning towards a SS bowl just for the fact that it seems less iffy to me after hearing about that issue, but I know I'd be giving up better quality vapor that would come from a ceramic bowl, no?

I don't think they make the ceramic anymore. They're all ss, Even the ceramic one was a ss ,ceramic coated, bowl I believe.
I'm trying to decide on the m107/m1a1 or the pass through, don't like the idea of the battery constantly starting to charge when the heater goes off . I guess I could always just charge and use the Pipes pa for power and treat it like a m107.

You're not going to be able to get a new Solo with a ceramic bowl. Maybe used. The bowls have been SS for over two years.

No problems with vapor using a stainless steel bowl in the Solo. You get vapor from level 2 and up. I would recommend Puffitup $160 for a new Solo, and they ship internationally. You will get very good after care, that's very important.

I suppose there are some old Solos floating around with the ceramic bowl maybe in far flung areas on Earth, or folks selling secondhand. They discontinued the ceramic bowl some time ago.

Someone was asking about the Solo car charger. You can use and charge at the same time.

For those of you wondering about the outcome of buying a Solo from Vaporseller.com, I just received mine!
I believe I ordered Sunday, and I received it today (Friday). Monday was a holiday so there was no shipping on that day. They send in decently safe, tight packaging by 2-day priority mail for no extra charge (Atleast thats what it says on the package, but I recieved it on Friday). I paid exactly $125, not a penny more or less. It's also the latest M1E1!

Man this thing is sexy in person...

EDIT** Just checked their site again and it's priced $131.99 now.

Sweet, $125 for the newest model is one of the best deals I've ever seen on one.

Anyways tonight I hooked up the Solo with my beaker bong, except with tubing and not directly. The hits are smoother this way!

That is such a good price $125. I was really tempted, but was afraid using my credit card number. I want to stay tuned to Vaporseller.com to see what kind of company they are. Make sure you keep us updated on their customer service if you need any. Keep your fingers crossed and click your heels 3 times for good luck, hopefully you won't need any customer service.

Have fun with your new toy.
