Ago G5 portable

Hey guys, I have been lurking on the forums and I just recently purchased my first vape, I originaly purchased the Atmos Bullet for 30$ just for use on a 22 hour drive because I moved down south. Just from the ride I fell in love with my cheap combusting pen and decided to purchase a upgrade.

I ended up purchasing a Ago G5 portable vape per recommendation of the store I was at and I brought it home and barely could get a drag, plus it ofcourse combusted. After 1 day the coil completely broke and I didnt even get 1 hit that made me happy. I went to the store and they gave me a new coil free of charge. I came home excited to only be dissapointed again by the fact I couldnt get one tiny little hit from this damn portable. Turns out coil #2 is broken aswell after 1 use... I now have about 140$ into junk and I am sitting here rather upset by my expectations for a vaporizer. Is there something Im doing wrong with my Ago? I can get 2 monster rips off of the cheap bullet but on the ago Im always left disappointed.

Is there any portable vaporizers that anyone can recommend to get me succesfully vaping?

I only vape dry herb currently but all I am looking for is something I can pack and take a few hits and be content rather then being dissapointed everytime I try to have a vape sesh

Sorry for the wall of text, any tips or tricks to help me get better use out of the Ago, or reccomendations of a portable vape under 150$ would be greatly appreciated, ps stealth is not a concern aslong as it is still portable, thanks!!

From the sounds of it you don't like to vape......buy a pipe or papers

Which part of my post made you think I should give up on vaping and continue using a pipe? Im assuming you read the whole post but if you didnt the short version im disappointed with the current vape I have because not only does it not vaporize anything but it doesnt even combust either it just leaves my herb inside the chamber.. I was looking for tips to what im doing wrong with the Ago, or a recomendation to what might help me succefuly vape better, regardless thank you for your post, but I am not ready to give up that easy on vaping so hopefuly I can get some helpful information

If you wanna stick to the e-cig appearance of you vape.. than your option is the T-vape vaporizer and u might wanna check with W-9 tech -(omicron) what they can offer. I think you cansmth for herbs in that price range

And no worries Spruce, after your first post I reread my original post and I noticed that my wording did make it seem like I liked combusting, but I was trying to say is that even the combusting of the cheap bullet made me want to upgrade to a true vaporizing portable

@KushcloudZ if I were you I would go to the portable section and start reading some of the threads.
Pictures and videos with lots of feedback in those pages so you can make up your mind on what vaporizer or even type of vaporizer you like best. I can tell you what I like or what vaporizer I think is cool but it might not be for you. Find some of the longer threads read the first few pages then read the last 10-20 pages to get an idea of how well the vape is holding up, what issues it may have and how people like it after using it a while.

^ Yes, it's easy to find the good models in our portable section. Pen style models are the most problematic. I'd recommend the DaVinci. Been using one since they first hit the market, and have had no problems, nor have I been tempted to try another model. You can pick one up on eBay for a little over $100. You probably won't get a manuf. warranty via an eBay buy, but at almost half the regular price, it's a good risk. The Solo is also an excellent choice, but it's not as much of an 'on the go' portable as one intended to be a pocket vape.

youll be interested in a solo if you want glass pathway with the best taste. or a pinnacle pro for heavy,fast extraction of the meds. its comparable to a volcano vaporizer in my opinion.

Did you just say you can compare a portable to a Volcano desktop? Given that I've never used a PNP or a Volcano can you please quantify that statement for me? Seems... counterintuitive to say the least.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information. I researched all of the pens you recommended and I also gave the portable vaporizer threads a good search and I have come across a few that caught my eye.

Tvape (I noticed on their website they also sell liquid vaporizers which I plan on getting aswell!)
Pinnacle Pro (seems real nice)
Cloudv (are these for dry herb? not sure if their just concentrates)

Forget the Cloud pens, they break a lot and are cheaply made (but not cheaply priced).

For concentrates there's better options, Dabbler, Dr Dabber, Omicron/Persei, etc

For flowers you can get an original Da Vinci, for $10 more you can get an Arizer Solo (excellent purchase), Tvape, Lotus, etc.

Do you have any experience with the tvape? Seems promising and i love the design!!

I don't, there are people in the thread that own it and post videos. Looks like it works quite well.

hits you hard and quick. the vapor from the pnp feels like im toking from a bong? well thats level 3+. the flavor is great for the first few hits and it goes harsh popcorn taste.

I have a lot of knowledge about the T-Vape and should be able to answer any of your questions related to it.

I wouldn't recommend any liquids (or liquid vaporizers) from Square Smoke unless you are intending them for tobacco/REALecig purposes, concentrates have better vaporizers capable of doing that.

Mine doesn't, although in the OP's case I'd recommend a Solo as long as stealth isn't a requirement.
