They're not oblivious, they just have to keep the lights on. I've seen smaller shops charge the same for a GonG adapter, and the ones that have been around longer selling them for $10-12. I got both my 18mm female-female's for $11.99 locally. The 18-14 reducer was $9.95 at another shop. Both of these places have been around for over 20 years now, though, so it's not as if they're still struggling to pay bills and stay afloat for another month or something. Unfortunately not everyone has that kind of luck.

And let's be honest, they're banking on the fact that at least half of their customers have no idea about what's available online, and at what price (sadly, this is probably true). Brick-and-mortar businesses also take full advantage of impulse buys and instant gratification. If I want something now, I may be willing to pay a bit more to get it immediately.

But yeah...I imagine it mostly comes down to the reality of owning a physical business vs. a virtual one.

I ordered the pnp dlx so I could get the water tool which is still on back order... I was looking thru this thread and couldn't help but notice all the talk about the d020. I only own the pnp and a vaporbrothers box, I was looking for something that I could use with both units. should I look into this d020 or is there a better bubble to hook my whip to, or will I be plenty happy with my water tool once it arrives?

Got one of those D20 bubblers from DHgate. Used it with my LSV WPA, but it doesn't feel like there's enough resistance. It hits, but it doesn't get all milky :\
I'm wondering if that's because the D20 has such a small chamber or if that's just how the LSV hits.:huh:

Now, with my Solo and a PVHE GonG? :science: That's where it's at!

Same thing here, I use a diffused downstem with mine and it brings the clouds!

Ti is actually pretty brittle. They use them for connecting rods in engines but detonation in a race engine will break a TI connecting rod quite easily. Its very strong under normal conditions tho.

I may need to get one of those. I was also thinking about getting an ash catcher cause some material made it through the screen on the WPA. Shit, I could even use both an ash catcher and a DD.

Any idea what length downstem to get for the D020? 3"?

Heck ya! Take a pencil stick it down the D020 til it touches the bottom mark it where it comes up to the end of the ground glass joint. I could measure mine and tell you, but they are all a little bit different. I just lucked out and had that piece and it fits perfectly. Hope this helps!

Edit- Also @Jambi619 double screen that wpa, IME it has helped keep the debris out of the pipes, plus I like to save those screens when they get clogged in a mason jar for some qwiso. Reduce, Reuse, Recycler!!!

Im am looking for a reasonable priced bubbler to buy to go with my Solo with 14mm GonG. I am looking at these 2 products mostly:

Would I be right in saying the top one would work straight out the box with my solo and 14mm GonG, and the other would need a 18mm to 14mm reducer?

If that is correct, Im based in UK and cant seem to find a reasonable priced reducer incl P&P, cheapest i seen is about $9+$20P&P.

Also anyone own both a recommend which they would go for if they had a choice of the 2?

Just got this a couple of days ago it's great and 3rd order with alibongo, nice head shop.

Edit: Also I have the 18mm version of the 10 arm perc on order from same person, it's with Parcelforce right now. I will let you know how I get on with it.

Happy Friday. I just received my order from DH Gate and botanical choice (cranberry extract). No glass was broken and it only took 1 week for me to receive my glass order from China. On the other hand I ordered from botanical choice on the 6th and barely received it today....then again they might be having trouble trying to keep up with all new orders!:lol:

I ordered from Sunshinestore. I wasn't expecting to see it until at least next week but 7 days form China to Las Vegas is a very nice surprise. Oh, in case anyone is curious I ordered a D020, a WP-010, a honeycomb A/C, a 12 arm A/C, and some of those little 14mm J-hooks. I can't wait to try these out with my Pinnacle Pro.
