Anyone come up with a chart yet for the ideal solution? I plan on changing my water every other day now and i'm wondering if others have a simple solution...Say i start with a fresh a gallon of distilled water. How much concentrate would be ideal ? A quarter ounce or less ? Anyone think its better to use more or less? Anyone have any problems with a gallon of premix opened up every few days non refrigerated?

If you mix that much at once and let it hang around it will grow stuff. I'm using about 10-12 drops/150 ml approximately with one drop of Magnascent iodine to keep things fresher longer. That water will last me a day, maybe 2 maximum then its on to making fresh again. You can use the color of the water as a rudimentary "strength" guide.

I can only get distilled water in one gallon jugs. Do you have to refrigerate it or will it get stale? I really don't mind mixing a custom shot and dumping it in there.I just thought if my whole supply was one gallon i might as well make one big batch..But if stuffs going to grow than hell now.

You could figure out how many drops your glass piece needs, store the water, then add drops and mix in your glass when filling? Room temp solution will grow stuff unless you use something like I am to keep it clean, storing mixed solution in the fridge might be an option depending on how quickly you are going to use it up.

You got that right. One of my tubes got about a hour of sunlight and the next day some weird shit was growing inside. Bitch to clean since it clumped and was hard to get through tiny perc holes.
Guess I'll have to look into "Magnascent iodine", whatever that is?

Hmm,
I wonder what makes it spoil the most...
that would take care of all three points of degradation.
If it's just light-sensitive for example,
use colored storage bottles or store in a cupboard.

ok here is my iodine warning, again. I personally feel iodine has been eliminated from our lives by design, iodine used to be used as a bread conditioner, now its bromine. Every gland in your body uses iodine and your body will hold 1.5 grams until it starts excreting it in urine. I supplement to keep other halogens out of the iodine receptors in my body (thyroid et all) . . . Bromine, chlorine, fluorine all take the natural place of iodine in your body and mess you up. Iodine is still the only substance that kills MRSA and everything else with NO resistance like antibiotics, period, and leaves healthy tissues alone.
Having said all of this, I dilute my one drop by 150 ml of liquid. I am not a doctor, or offering medical advice. If you decide to do this without consulting a physician, its on you.

i usually just drop four drops of NACE in my small dc020 bubbler and fill the rest with water until it's at the top of the perc. My other pieces get more or less the same depending on the water needed. Bigger pieces 5-6, smaller ones about 3. Once I'm done with the session it gets dumped, water rinsed and air dried. Stays really clean!!

I've switched to pre-mixed, but only with 16 oz bottles. Use a full dropper, about 20 drops. Storing mine in the fridge as I prefer cool water.
Opened Cranberry juice will last for 2-3 weeks in the fridge before spoiling (close to 2-3X longer than any other juice), and it is filled with 36 grams of sugar per 8 fl oz.
So I'd wager the extract with no sugars should last quite a bit longer. Especially diluted extract.

I'm just wondering what the harm would be. I'm thinking some grind what they need for a day others pregrind for a week. I would think a half gallon or so pre mixed rezblock would fair as well as kool aid if kept cool. I never left open kool aid out for ages but i bet it would not look good either.

Sorry for the OT, but that's interesting.
Does the taking of oral iodine supplements replace these toxins that may have accumulated in these receptors? I just learned about the three different types of iodine (sodium, potassium, & molecular), and it seems that most people are deficient since most supplements are typically just potassium iodide.

You are correct in linking Fukushima to this conversation. I guarantee you my thyroid and other body parts are filled with non-radioactive iodine. The pacific fishery is dead folks, beyond our lifetime probably. However KI has its place, you can make SSKI and sterilize water with it, its clear so no staining, and I'm going to try vaping through a solution of it here soon instead of the nascent. Edgar Casey spoke of atomic iodine or "atomodine" as he called it. Nascent or atomically reduced forms of metals like this and silver can be powerful allies if understood and applied properly.

My integrative physician is marketing his own supplements packets, and a separate capsule that's just iodine. They both have all three forms in them, and he recommends taking them concurrently.
I actually alternate them but that's another discussion!

Would refrigerating unopened bottles extend their expiration dates? Couldnt hurt i guess.
Keeping it stored concentrated in dark bottles with minimum exposure to [whatever accelerates spoiling] would help preserve the contents I think.

More on the math of dilution for @NeeChee, this was from my OP that was using 1 drop/10ml which we now know was close, but just a tad strong for just being clean . . . 
Please note the "bottle" of BC is twice the size of the RezBlock bottle . . .
Now it didn't quite work out this way . . . I tend to consume more but I got 1 bottle of RezBlock to last 2 months when I was finished experimenting with it so one bottle of BC, which is twice the size, should last 3.5-4 months realistically.

Things wont go bad in the bottle unless you expose it to extreme sunlight, heat, or contaminate the solution in some way.

We all probably have the same batch.
I bet if you keep it in the fridge, it'll help it last longer.
As long as we're not consuming it, it should be fine, even after it expires?
